Brunch: Baconerie
A new addition to my go-to brunch places lists, Baconerie. Located in Kemang area, this small cafe serves a vast breakfast menu - since you can also order lunch or dinner menu in the morning. Super yeay! They also serve coffee, but For the coffee, I usually go with Cold Brew Latte (IDR 40K) or Cold Brew Coffee (IDR 35K). I must say that with that price, you can expect more - but in here, it’s just okay. The main highlight is their artisan cured meats. My favorite meal will be Baconerie Platter (IDR 100K), which consists of eggs, toast, tomato jam, sauteed mushroom, side salad, and 2 cured meats (I usually order the halal option, which are Chicken Apple Sausages and Beef Pastrami). Talking bout party in the morning, huh?

I have also tried their Philly Cheese Steak (IDR 110K) and I must say it is super super good! Here how it looks like...

If you’re keen on some freshly baked breads and muffins and so on, they have lots of mouth-watering selection of these (sorry, but no pic here). Price starts from IDR 25K.  So if you have time on weekends (or weekdays) and happen to be in Kemang area, make sure to pay a visit here.  Baconerie Jl. Benda Raya No. 1C Kemang, Jakarta Open daily: 7am to 7pm

Coffee Place: Pigeonhole, Bintaro
I’ve been soooooo excited lately, because of some new coffee shops opening in Bintaro area. Why? Simply because it’s near my house! My weekend coffee hunting will be so much easier by now. Yeay!
Out of 3 new coffee shops, I’ve tried Pigeonhole at Jl. Merpati, Bintaro Sektor 1. Fun facts: ‘Pigeon’ means ‘Merpati’ in Indonesia.
Here’s some pic so you could get clearer idea what it looks like ;)

I ordered Ice Cafe Latte - the taste was awesome and I super like the coffee. The downside is, they only have Hot Cafe Latte, so the ice was added later to the Hot Cafe Latte (which I still think this is a weird technique, but luckily the taste still tasted great - so I’m OK with that). As for my husband, he ordered Coffee of the Day (I forgot which beans it was - but it was not their house blend). It was awesome as well.
The shop open on 8.00 AM daily and they give complimentary 3 oz Piccolo Latte for FREE for their first daily customer. (And when I went there, I got that compliment latte! Yeay!).
I’d say I give 8.5/10 for this coffee shop. Will definitely come back for more!

Had too much fun today at AEON Mall, BSD, Tangerang. Look at all these lovely colors! How can one resist such a charm? Especially when it comes in a form of affordable price! Kyaaa! I think I've eaten the whole next week's carb intake limit *sighs*

Rainy Season
...means:
Sweater weather!
Getting sleepier during office hour *yawn*
Easily hungry, at least I need to munch on something every 1.5-hours
The urge of having Indomie Rebus Telur Kornet Keju (or in my case, Indomie goreng) will increase by 500%

My all time favorite Belly Buster from Qasavara Drink.
I was so happy when I found out they changed their packaging from plastic bottles into glass bottles. They even give you some discounts for the next purchase if you return the used bottles ;)

I’m quite adventurous when it comes to weight-loss experiments. You can name almost anything and I’ll be familiar with it. From ‘weight-loss massage’ (yes, apparently here in Indonesia, we have that sort kind of thing), acupuncture, meditation, calories counting (which is soooooo stressful!) to mayo diet. I’ve tried it all. Some of them were showing good results, some of them was just like throwing my money away (adios, savings!). So, since I’m tired of throwing my money away (yeahhh..), I’m shifting to just... eat more consciously and more healthier.
Just recently, I had this 3-days blend cleansing from NIPKA Juice. A friend of mine tried it before and she said that she couldn’t even swallow it, because we still need to chew some of the veggies’ chunks (note: she doesn’t like veggies and has a major love for carbs). I thought it would be challenging, but to my surprise... IT WAS NOT! It’s super delicious and I could easily went through that 3-days cleansing without major complaints (LOL).  Anyway, I lost 3 kilos. My feet which were swollen the day before cleansing (because I consumed to much salt), were amazingly back to normal (normal means, two normal fat feet). Yeay!
It’s been 2-weeks since then and I managed to keep my weight in the same level. It’s a good thing, though.. ;)
Yep! That’s all. There goes the first story of my Papila Journey. More posts coming up! :)
PS. Please expect cheat meal posts every now and then, especially during PMS times. And don’t judge me, please?
