the most puzzling thing about the $50,000 verbalase hazbin hotel animation is how fucking softcore it is. like if i was going to drop a rural townhouse worth of money on an animation of me fucking my cartoon crush we would be going at it onscreen like dogs. we dont even see charlie's tits.

so sorry to go into complaints about a joke post abt the apology. hey heres a couple fun facts about the moaning portion 1) dream has already had a history of lying about information to keep his information safe. (see the start of the video) 2)he has stated he does not want nsfw content of him. (see the end of the video) claiming that the audio is him would confirm the existence of nsfw audio clips to the extreme fans that want him carnally. 3)he claims the victim was harassed when this information became public. implying the fault of the "dream antis" for this. the only people that would harass the victims are his own fans that are Upset at the idea that someone would claim dream is a groomer, or people asking for more information and clarification on the video.

this is just a theoretical but like. wouldn't people asking for more information from the source clear things up a bit more directly? it doesn't exactly make sense for 'dream antis' to be the ones harassing the potential victim offline. i cant think of any reason why they would unless its for troll reasons, which aren't genuine and aren't at the fault of either side.

Thoughts on the “Look my Way” music video? For context if you don’t know, this is a fan song that’s just animated. Paranoid DJ had written this song awhile back, though Viv did take out some lyrics and switch them up a bit. What I personally don’t like is that there’s a line in the original where Stolas mentions the “impish play thing” line, as well as acknowledges that Octavia is hurting, and Viv cut that out. The song itself also doesn’t help for the show narratively really regarding the ship of Stolitz.

OMYGOD Okay so much to talk about here. It's a BEAUTIFUL song, amazing song, and I even loved the original of it. The animation for this AMV is breathtaking, everyone did an AMAZING job on it. This is what Helluva Boss songs should sound like. I was annoyed with that one scene, albeit very pretty where Stolas and Blitz have a string attached to the pinky finger, which is an indication of soulmates. This bothers me because a soulmate is either A. someone you have been reincarnated with over the years to love or B. Someone you click with- someone who completes you. You meet in every lifetime or they are the perfect person for you. This does not fit Stolas X Blitz AT ALL. They are not perfect for each other, they are complete opposites and the entire appeal and beauty of their relationship was the fact that they were fuckbuddies! They weren't even friends! They were tied up in manipulations, classism, and power imbalances. Their relationship required a lot of growth, a lot of work, and a LOT of learning on what love actually was, how to maintain it, and how to right their wrongs like-They needed to actively explore and learn what love means. They needed to find a real connection that would actually give them chemistry. Being soulmates is a complete cop-out. (Soulmates don't rely on reincarnation, but some do- and reincarnation is not a thing for demons???) You could say I'm overthinking it and being nitpicky with this visual, but this is exactly what it is! That is a soulmate string!!! He even says "I'll grant you this mercy, this bind on our souls-" LIKE BRUH wHAT !!! I'm so mad about what their relationship has become. They were toxic but not doomed. Now they're nothing Anyway..... still very beautiful and pretty

I have friends who actually know this guy and work closely with him. Apparently, Viv was the one who asked to change the lyrics of the song because it didn't "fit her story"???????? The lyrics changed: OG: "Come now, my little impish plaything, we both made our choice" Viv: "But dearest, I know better now I must give you this choice" It makes sense why she would want this changed since this song is about Stolas actually finally being in love. But it's still very sus because we still have not addressed Stolas's classism problem that seems to fluctuate episode to episode. OG: "Is this how she'd feel? Abandoned, all alone and left to fend For herself, for some semblance of happiness that doesn't have to end?" Viv: "Is this what you feel? Scorned by a realm that cannot comprehend, What you are, so I'll grant you this mercy this bind- on our souls needs to end" Again I can understand this change because we are going off-topic with Octavia here. However, I do find these changes very suspicious, especially if she wanted the song to better "fit her story". Because these circumstances are things that I have accused Viv of retconning before. Where Stolas wasn't actually in love with Blitz from the start and only saw him as a shiny toy, an "impish little plaything". Where Stolas was actually shady in cheating on his wife and not being there for his daughter nor really understanding her. "Home doesn't feel like home anymore. You ruined it." I can understand in the context of the song why these lines would be removed, but in the context of the overall story, I'm very suspicious of it, because those are very important contexts that people try to insist are "just people's headcanons" when they literally aren't. This could be considered active proof of Vivziepop retconning her story, but I will go with the latter and stick to my logical explanations for why the lyrics were changed- gonna try to have some faith here.

Apparently, Cherri and Angel's AMV Addict was also a fan song. In THAT video, this is the description. Fully acknowledging it was a fan song, and giving clear credit to the person who made the song.

NO acknowledging this is a fan-made song. NO credit for Paranoid DJ. No thank you, no praise for the original, no links to the original song- He is at least in the credits, but not the description! This is insanely shady! I don't know if this was just a mistake or not, but this is really uncool. Again, he's at least in the ending credits, but... the description would make it more obvious. Vivziepop has a history of not crediting people for their work- I don't know if she was the one who made this mistake nor not.... this is not the worst it could have been, but at the very least whoever runs the youtube should fix the description out of respect.

Since people are talking about the IGN photos, Amazon also released a collection of images regarding Hazbin. (these are visible in the ASSETS tab, the site is made with JavaScript so i cant link it to that tab. sorry!)

To my knowledge these aren't leaks, and are official images as they are found on the amazon studio website. linked to official announcement posts. But they might spoil some content for people when it comes to designs and... quality. as well as episode content ( theres an image, or multiple for episodes "0" - 7 ) I'm thinking they might be promotional material for specific episodes, but unfortunately some of the images picked are blatantly off model, or visibly strange. Although i assume some people will be glad to see them/use them. Some of the images are the Unedited IGN images, without their logo. I screenshotted some of the images below: (correction, i later figured out how to get the files through the code, so they are the highest quality possible.)

I went ahead and organized them by episode number found in the file name, 5 of them are just labled "1" rather than "101" or "102" etc. Ill label them 0, for now. I believe they might have removed the numbers for them since they might include spoilers for the episodes? we can see that Alastor was used twice, and the angle + husk one looks to be from episode 4 (see the background) 0:

I'll never forget the time where I vented about a word being used on me that didn't fit the definition of my person and the reaction to people online was "That didn't happen, and if it did- you deserved it" This was about me being called an Incel because I was Asexual. Considering I don't catcall people- never have never will- and do not see 'being nice' as a form of transactions... I don't think that word applies to me at all. To this day I cannot see the logic behind their reaction, the idea of complaining about something online and the only response is "You are lying" (with no evidence) feels very strange.

I only now realize that the firework dispensers (or... sparklers? Unsure what theses are) are just. uncensored penis's. Even on some of the frames they have so much detail that they have veins and pulse. Really gross, kind of surprised this one is on youtube. Maybe that's why they started censoring them in later videos. (Sooo sorry for not mentioning your problems in this reblog, I probably should have also mentioned that there's a strange mixture of both Highly sexual imagery and romantic love. I believe there was rumor's that ozzy and fizz would be shamed for their romantic relations despite their work, and it might be interesting if the place was designed with that in mind. However, its possible that the crew cant decide what kind of symbols should represent different topics. Like an attempt to differentiate two different things with the same symbolism)

Like- I know there’s not as many symbols for lust as there are love, but why not use X’es or something? Verosika has them as a major part of her design, and XXX is a common symbol for porn THAT THE EPISODE REFERENCES. I cant figure out how to change my account for responses, and I don't want to reply on main. But yes, that was conclusion I got from these, and I hoped others would come to similar from this information. (Although, in different wording because transphobia effects all trans people- weather its against trans men or women by cis people. I feel as though we dont need to clerify which which group is effected- unless it is when fellow trans people are the ones being transphobic. but that is a personal opinion! And this is just to clarify for myself, not to correct you.) Its blatant hypocrisy. Considering when Vivienne started to get popular, and the time she was on the internet, I assume this is caused by watching "Trans-trender" videos on YouTube during hear early 20s. It would make sense considering she was a fan on Blaire White, as (if I recall correctly) she was in that circle of creators. She seems to repeat arguments they have as well.

its practically an open secret that the creator of hazbin hotel/helluva boss sucks. i know artists who are familiar with viv's abusive behavior that are too scared to do anything because she can simply namedrop them and they'll be chased off of ANY website.

she blacklists people, she bullies people, she intimidates people, she's incredibly insecure and entitled. wanna know why most people who try to come out about viv's abuse tend to go silent? because she sends lawyers after them. I've seen leaked logs of what Viv is really like, she sucks, a whole lot actually.

I knew she sucked when she gave out that incredibly embarrassing "apology" where she plays victim, deflects blame, lovebombs her audience and doesn't acknowledge her more horrific behavior and zones in on minor instances like being a fan of blaire white (and funnily enough couldn't even be honest and admit she liked her! she had to pretend she was only a fan because she was "scared during political unrest")

vivziepop is an anti feminist. flat out despises women and worships men (but only if they're cis). she calls women she hates "bitches" and "cunts" and it bleeds into her incredibly misogynistic humor and writing. she's made comics defending catcalling women and transphobic caricatures of people she dislikes. she thinks trans men are "women with internalized misogyny". she makes man-hating female characters who are friendless losers that nobody likes, but her women-hating men are her personal favorite characters.

she treats her friends as people she can use and discard. she's great if she likes you, horrible if she doesn't. despite being familiar with how traumatizing cyberstalking and cyberbullying is, she weaponizes it against people she dislikes by playing victim. the scott cawthon incident was simply vivzie's mask off moment. she loves seeing people she hates suffer, she loves seeing them deal with mass criticism and backlash, even better if they're chased off the platform forever.

she thinks everyone who critiques her work are homophobic bigots because she doesn't like being told off for her incredibly embarrassing caricatures of queer men. she can't draw black people. she wrote an effeminate queer man with sexual trauma that she constantly sexualizes and makes a mockery of. her lead animator has a "rape ship" and an animatic to go with it that she approves of. she's threatened by redesigns because they're done by artists why have a basic grasp of character design and unironically thinks they're only done to attack the crew (and refuses to stand against fan harassment because of it).

and also her design of beelzebub is still goddamn horrendous.

the lackadaisy vs hh/hb fandom debacle is super frustrating to me. Ive seen claims of transphobia, homophobia, with screenshots that are either lacking or irrelevent (some claiming that anyone defending lackadaisy promotes transphobic ideas and that hh is clearly the better option due to having gay characters) While, yes. I can understand that people accusing a person of transphobia after liking tweets from terfs on sports. Its transphobic in nature, and propaganda.

This is gross! It will never not be gross. However, people around Ze have stated that her opinion has shifted since liking these tweets (linked). She should informed whats wrong with these tweets, but shes not the one who said them. From what i can tell, she never sent this kind of rhetoric to anyone but the person she had discussed with. (Edit as of 2023.8.28: An announcement by tracy clarified that these tweets were not something that Ze believed in to begin with.) It is not a good look on lackadaisy, but accusing Everyone who worked on it being bad because of this one person employed by them is not right. What that would lead to is harassment of employees for working with a transphobe, not removing the transphobe. Accusing anyone that supported lackadaisy of being a terf leads to harassment of random onlookers who are unaware of the actions of an employee. This is NOT the creator of lackadaisy, this is not people supporting a show created by a terf, but it is being treated that way. This kind of stuff is Nuanced and people should be allowed to learn whats wrong and right before being attacked outright for listening to propaganda (thats what propaganda is supposed to do! Change peoples ideas!) However, liking tweets from a transphobe is Nothing in comparison to the comments made by Viv on a trans person.

This screenshot has been around for a while, sent out a couple days after the posting dates of the terf tweets- before the lakcadaisy accusations came. And yet i do not see many people share them around. Is it a fear of it not being the real vivzie? Has she ever addressed this? Will she ever address this? Is she aware of this being sent around?

Once again, This kind of stuff is Nuanced and people should be allowed to learn whats wrong and right before being attacked outright. But, attacking one person for doing the same thing as the person youre defending is weird! and strange! Can this be addressed before attacking another studio for the same thing?

(As an extra note, listen to trans people on this issue. Not all of us will say the same thing- many people will defend or accuse other people for different sentiments, no one is less trans or less valid because of their opinions on this. Do not treat them as such. We are all different people, explaining different sides of our story is important.)

Im starting to worry that these sort of "bandage fixes" companies have started to use is going to ruin something money wise. My mother keeps buying things from Temu and I've been very adamantly against it as I worry the lack of money that you spend on these products is due to a lack of payment for the employees. I have no evidence on this assumption but I try to be overly cautious of this. If this is the case that would mean the companies solution to an outcry of people not having enough money to pay for things, discussions of inflation and such, is to take money from their employees to make things cheaper and in turn cause more people to have less money to pay for the things they need. Its a terrifying idea that the only people that will profit and continue to make money are the people at the top on these companies, continuing to take and take and take until no money is left for people to live. Perhaps this is just some sort of shower thought mixed in with paranoia, but its been bugging me lately.

The incest jokes are starting to weird me out- they weirded me out from the beginning but the Amount of them does not bode well with me... It makes me worried over the future of the show + how they treat subjects like this. Especially considering the abuse and SA "jokes"/"gags" in previous episodes.

will it be treated with decency/commentary or continue to delve into a strange form of 'gross out humor'/how they wrote Verosika + her team assault Moxxie* type jokes with no real meaning to them. *(I have no idea how to describe the humor, likely because I do not see the 'funny' point. If someone could explain why the writers think it is funny, I would appreciate it.)

i will complain here, i try not to be overly hateful. Im a very opinionated person, our views may differ even if you dislike the show. I will respect you as long as you respect me :-) My opinions on the show do not apply to the fans or the staff. However my distaste tends to fall on the management/writing of the show.
