you can now find most of these muses at @paradisechased now!! not all the bios are up yet ( Daichi and Ritsuko are the only ones with finished pages at the moment ), but i'll be working on this throughout the day!!

as for the muses i didn't move over: Takehiko, Jaques, Seiko, Toshiro, Yen, Kyosuke, Ruruka, and Sonosuke have been dropped because muse for them was either entirely gone or i never got around to fleshing them out and probably never will unfortunately. rest in peace <3

But the one difference was that he could at LEAST rely on Daichi to DO his work… Unlike Dazai, it was like pulling teeth on that end.

While  Daichi  may  occasionally  fall  short  in  other  departments  compared  to  his  lookalike  (  specifically  the  kinds  of  scenarios  where  strategy  was  involved;  he  was  smart,  sure,  but  not  THAT  smart  ),  at  least  he  knows  he  can  flaunt  the  fact  he  actually  gets  work  done.  He  completely  surpasses  the  bar,  but  that  isn’t  really  saying  much  when  the  bar  consistently  rests  comfortably  on  the  floor.  He  could  have  tripped  over  said  bar  and  STILL  done  a  better  job.  Daichi  decides  to  brush  over  the  fact  that  he  takes  such  joy  in  doing  the  bare  minimum  anyway  and  responds  with  a  bright  smile  as  if  he’s  not  more  than  a  little  stressed  by  just  how  fast  he’s  worked  to  make  sure  he  stayed  on  schedule.

“  Oh?  A  compliment  for  me,  of  all  people?  Why,  I’m  honored,  sir!  ...But  seriously,  no  worries.  I’m  well  aware  of  the  deadlines  and  I’ll  be  finished  soon.  ”  With  that  out  of  the  way,  he  turns  to  what  remains  of  the  paperwork  with  his  smile  fading.  He’s  clearly  plenty  ahead,  but  surely  there  will  be  more  to  do  after  this...  Will  he  even  have  time  to  rest  afterwards?  Can  he  really  afford  to  waste  time  on  something  like  a  break?  What  if  something  happens  that  halts  their  progress?  What  if  his  own  progress  is  hindered?!

“  Hm...  Say,  Mr.  Kunikida?  Since  I’m  almost  done  here,  is  there  anything  else  we  need  to  get  done?  Whatever  it  could  be,  just  name  it,  and  I  can  get  to  it  as  soon  as  I’m  done  with  this!  ”

today i realized three OCs here had VERY similar family situations on complete accident, they all mentioned having four sisters, so i did what any sane person would do and i just made them All Sisters + filled in the 4th with one who doesn't have a full bio yet-

Ritsuko, Kaori, Mizuki, and Sachiko? They're all half-sisters :')

Suzuki  wants  nothing  more  than  to  say  that's  exactly  what  it  should  be  called,  but  she  is  not  a  liar.  A  white  lie  may  keep  them  going  a  little  while  longer,  but  false  hope  will  crumble  fast, especially in the despair-ridden world they live in now.  That's  a  lesson  she's  already  taught  herself.  Optimism  is  never  a  bad  thing,  but  a  touch  of  realism  is  needed,  too.  And  the  truth  of  their  situation  is  that  things  aren't  looking  good.

The  classmates  they  haven't  already  found  may  be  dead,  she  knows  that's  one  of  the  more  likely  situations.  That  possibility  breaks  Suzuki  more  and  more  each  day,  and  there's  no  telling  how  much  it's  crushing  Akako.  They  may  push  forward even now,  but  it's  painful,  it's  taxing.  It  hurts  to  even  bother  when  they  may  only  find  the  corpses  of  their  closest  friends.  This  doesn't  count  as  enduring,  they  just  keep  going  because  there  is  no  better  alternative.  It's  a  necessity.  If  they  stop,  they've  failed.  There  is  nothing  satisfying  about  what  they're  doing,  not  when  success  is  so  uncertain,  but  " quit "  isn't  in  their  vocabulary.  This  is  not  " enduring ",  of  course  it  isn't;  this  is  forcing  themselves  to  act  because  no  one  else  can.

"  No,  it  can't,  "  she  finally  replies,  voice  strained  and  hoarse;  proof  of  how  much  she's  been  calling  her  friends'  names  in  hopes  that  maybe  the  lost  ones  will  shout  back.  "  That  implies  we  can  keep  this  up  for  longer  than  we’re  able.  A  more  fitting  term  is  perseverance.  You  and  I  both  know  we  can't  go  on  forever,  but  we  can  try  anyway.  Courage  is  what  the  others  need  to  see  from  us,  isn't  it...?  "

Having  just  caught  the  sight  of  Kyosuke's  white  jacket  rounding  a  corner  and  spotting  Makoto  left  in  his  wake,  it  wasn't  difficult  to  piece  together  that  there  was  a  disagreement  of  sorts.  By  what  she's  just  been  told,  said  disagreement  concluded  with  a  remark  about  ignorance  regarding  some  topic  Suzuki  also  knows  nothing  about.  Part  of  her  wants  to  pry,  but  a  bigger  piece  says  she  can  find  out  later,  whether  that  be  from  him  or  another  source  entirely.

"  Don't  we  all  know  nothing  in  some  way?  I  doubt  he  is  any  less  ignorant!  "  That  probably  isn't  helping.  "  Apologies,  that  was  not  how  I  wanted  to  say  that,  uh...  What  I  meant  was,  if  you  are  uninformed,  then  it  is  kind  of  his  job  to  tell  you  about  necessary  information,  right?  Withholding  an  answer  he  could  easily  give  you...  Does  he  want  to  make  more  problems  than  solutions...?  "  Though  she  may  be  right  about  Kyosuke’s  unnecessary  dramatics,  now  isn't  the  time  to  fret  over  it.  If  there  is  something  Makoto  is  missing,  then  surely  someone  else  will  be  able  to  fill  him  in  with  the  necessary  information  (  and  hopefully  her,  too,  because  the  curiosity  is  killing  her  ).

"  Anyhow,  perhaps  someone  else  would  be  kind  enough  to  help  you  out?  I  am  not  busy  right  now,  I  could  accompany  you  until  you  know  what  you  need!  "

“ how am i supposed to bandage you up if i can't touch you? “ for ritsuko lmao

In  moments  like  these,  even  Ritsuko  is  aware  of  how  much  she  resembles  a  cornered  animal.  Her  wrist  is  clutched  tight  in  her  opposite  hand  and  held  to  her  body,  and  despite  how  much  her  own  grip  hurts,  she  doesn’t  make  any  effort  to  let  Makoto  get  any  closer  to  help  it  hurt  less.  Pain  throbs  through  her  arm  from  the  swollen  wrist,  forcing  a  pained  whimper  from  the  actress.  There’s  no  denying  it  hurts,  but  the  idea  of  getting  help  from  Makoto  of  all  people  makes  her  sick.

Then  again,  she  can’t  do  it  herself.  As  smart  as  she  is,  bandaging  and  wrapping  wounds  isn’t  something  she  can  learn  overnight.  And  god  forbid  she  show  up  at  her  upcoming  rehearsal  with  a  visible  injury.  If  this  keeps  her  from  performing,  she  would  fall  behind  in  the  movie  process,  and  that’s  not  a  risk  she’s  willing  to  take.  If  Makoto  is  her  only  choice,  then  so  be  it.  With  her  wild  gaze  fading  a  bit,  she  takes  a  few  hesitant  steps  toward  him  with  her  arm  still  held  close  to  her  chest.

“  Good  point,  I  guess...  If  this  is  my  only  choice  right  now,  I’ll  have  to  put  up  with  it.  Just  get  it  over  with  as  fast  as  possible.  I  don’t  want  to  be  around  you  more  than  I  have  to  be.  ”  And  she’d  prefer  to  stop  hurting  as  soon  as  she  can,  too.
