Shadow people

A number of religions, legends, and belief systems describe shadowy spiritual beings or supernatural entities such as shades of the underworld, and various shadowy creatures have long been a staple of folklore and ghost stories.

The Coast to Coast AM late night radio talk show helped popularize modern beliefs in shadow people. The first time the topic of shadow people was discussed at length on the show was April 12, 2001 when host Art Bell interviewed Native American elder Thunder Strikes, who is also known as Harley "SwiftDeer" Reagan. During the show, listeners were encouraged to submit drawings of shadow people that they had seen and a large number of these drawings were immediately shared publicly on the website. In October that year, Heidi Hollis published her first book on the topic of shadow people, and later became a regular guest on Coast to Coast. Hollis describes shadow people as dark silhouettes with human shapes and profiles that flicker in and out of peripheral vision, and claims that people have reported the figures attempting to "jump on their chest and choke them". She believes the figures to be negative, alien beings that can be repelled by various means, including invoking "the Name of Jesus".

Although participants in online discussion forums devoted to paranormal and supernatural topics describe them as menacing, other believers and paranormal authors do not agree whether shadow people are either evil, helpful, or neutral, and some even speculate that shadow people may be the extra-dimensional inhabitants of another universe. Some paranormal investigators and authors such as Chad Stambaugh claim to have recorded images of shadow people on video.

Overtoun Bridge - West Dunbartonshire, Scotland

Since the 1950s or 1960s, numerous dogs have leaped to their death at a rate of one per year. The only linking factors for this unexplained event are that dogs mostly jump from the same side of the bridge, in clear weather, and they are breeds with long snouts

The canine deaths have prompted claims of paranormal activity at the bridge. In October 1994, a man threw his two-week-old son to his death from the bridge because he believed that his son was an incarnation of the Devil. He then attempted to commit suicide several times, first by attempting to jump off the bridge, later by slashing his wrists

It’s been a super long time since I have made a post..So let me do a life update! YAY! I’ve been meaning to sit down and write all about it. But I haven’t had much time with my work schedule lately. So here we go....

In October of 2014, I met a former co-worker of mine. I actually met him in about May, but We didn’t start talking until around Halloween. It only took a few texts, facebook messages and conversations outside on our breaks for me to completely fall for him. He made me rethink my life. He challenged me in so many ways that I never thought was possible. He had worked for my employer before. He quit and moved off East with his previous girlfriend. And then when things ended he moved back. And you know that saying “I wish I could turn back time so I could find you sooner and love you longer”. That is completely true in this situation. I really wish that I would have known that I would have found him. That would have made everything so much easier. He had a tough life. His mom passed away in 2009, and he was left with no one. But he never let that get him down. 

On November 20th, 2014, we started dating. We kept it quiet for about a week. I think it was a week from that day, because on Thanksgiving day he told everyone. Everyone was so excited for us. There were a few moments with my best friend that made me rethink it all. She was jealous because it was my second relationship within the year. But honestly, I don’t even count the first one anymore. Even though we dated for a few months I will say that it wasn’t really a relationship. But that was in the past. And soon she would learn to get over it.

On Christmas day 2014, he met my family. My mom, dad, grandma, and oldest brother. Plus my sister-in-law, my nephews and niece and they loved him. They all thought he was perfect. They just didn’t know him all that well. He is a very quiet and shy guy. He may not be shy around me or my family anymore. But he is shy around other people he doesn’t know. But he is such a good guy. 

In August of 2015, he met my extended family. Bless him for being so sweet. And understand he wouldn’t see those nuts very often. Lol. Maybe once a year.

In November of 2015, he met my other brother, sister in law, nephew and niece. We went down to south Texas the day after thanksgiving. I was very sick. Horribly sick. And he got sick the day after that. He was miserable. But he was a good sport. And I am so very happy that they got to meet him.

Now here come the exciting part! 

On February 13th, 2016, We went out to eat at my favorite place. When we came home, I had to go shopping for some blinds for my windows. But I didn’t find any. Apparently my windows are a special size that they do not sale anywhere. Unless you want to pay 100 bucks for them. Ummm...not happening. So I went out to the car and waiting for him to finish shopping or talking. Lol. He likes to talk to the people who he used to work with. Anyway, we came home and he wrote me a little letter with a note that read “Words cannot express how much I love you.” and then went on to say “I just have one question to ask you....” And he asked me to marry him. With the song “All of Me” by John Legend in the background. 

On March 18th, 2017, we will be getting married. And I could not be any happier! I am so excited to be spending the rest of my life with my best friend and the love of my life! I love him more than words can describe. He is my everything. And I am so so so very happy that I found him. And it only took 25 years to do so! Lol. 

So now you are caught up! I know it’s long. But I had a lot to update on!
