Define the problem
This is often where people struggle. They react to what they think the problem is. Instead, seek to understand more about why you think there's a problem.
Define the problem: (with input from yourself and others). Ask yourself and others, the following questions:
What     can you see that causes you to think there's a problem?
Where     is it happening?
How     is it happening?
When     is it happening?
With     whom is it happening? (HINT: Don't jump to "Who is causing the     problem?" When we're stressed, blaming is often one of our first     reactions. To be an effective manager, you need to address issues more     than people.)
Why     is it happening?
Write down a five-sentence description of the problem in terms of "The following should be happening, but isn't ..." or "The following is happening and should be: ..." As much as possible, be specific in your description, including what is happening, where, how, with whom and why. (It may be helpful at this point to use a variety of research methods.  Mobile App Marketing agency in mumbai
Defining complex problems:
If     the problem still seems overwhelming, break it down by repeating steps 1-7     until you have descriptions of several related problems.  Door     to Door Sales agency in mumbai
Verifying your understanding of the problems:
It helps a great deal to verify your problem analysis for conferring with a peer or someone else.
Prioritize the problems:
If you discover that you are looking at several related problems, then prioritize which ones you should address first.   Sales Staff agency in Mumbai
Note the difference between "important" and "urgent" problems. Often, what we consider to be important problems to consider are really just urgent problems. Important problems deserve more attention. For example, if you're continually answering "urgent" phone calls, then you've probably got a more "important" problem and that's to design a system that screens and prioritizes your phone calls.
Understand your role in the problem:
Your role in the problem can greatly influence how you perceive the role of others. For example, if you're very stressed out, it'll probably look like others are, too, or, you may resort too quickly to blaming and reprimanding others. Or, you are feel very guilty about your role in the problem, you may ignore the accountabilities of others.

What is Operations Management (OM)?
Various Definitions
Operations management focuses on carefully managing the processes to produce and distribute products and services. A great deal of focus is on efficiency and effectiveness of processes. Therefore, operations management often includes substantial measurement and analysis of internal processes.  Customer Acquisition agency in mumbai
Ultimately, the nature of how operations management is carried out in an organization depends very much on the nature of the products or services in the organization, for example, agriculture, mining, construction or general services. Here are some additional perspectives on the field.
"Operations management is chiefly concerned with planning, organizing and supervising in the contexts of production, manufacturing or the provision of services." – TOPMBA Shop to Shop Marketing agency in mumbai
"Operations     management is an area of management concerned with designing and     controlling the process of production and redesigning business operations     in the production of goods or services."
What Are Goods and Services?
Basically, a product is a tangible offering to a customer, whereas a service is an intangible offering. The former is usually a one-time exchange for value. In contrast, a service usually involves a longer period of time.  Experiential Marketing agency in mumbai
The value of a product is inherent in the tangible offering itself, for example, in the can of paint or pair of pants. In contrast, the value of a service often comes from the eventual benefit that the customer perceives from the time while using the service.

WHAT IS MANAGEMENT?
Traditional View of Management
There are a variety of views about the term "management". Traditionally, the term "management" (sometimes referred to as "organizational management" or "business management") refers to the activities involved in the four general functions listed below.  Customer Acquisition agency in mumbai
1) Planning, including identifying goals, objectives, methods, resources needed to carry out methods, responsibilities and dates for completion of tasks. Examples of planning are strategic planning, business planning, project planning, staffing planning, advertising and promotions planning.
2) Organizing resources to achieve the goals in an optimum fashion. Examples are organizing new departments, human resources, office and file systems and re-organizing businesses.
3) Leading, including to set direction for the organization, groups and individuals and also influence people to follow that direction. Examples are establishing strategic direction (vision, values, mission and / or goals) and championing methods of organizational performance management to pursue that direction.
4) Controlling, or coordinating, including the organization's systems, processes and structures to reach effectively and efficiently reach goals and objectives. This includes ongoing collection of feedback, and monitoring and adjustment of systems, processes and structures accordingly. Examples include use of financial controls, policies and procedures, performance management processes and measures to avoid risks.
Common Terms, Levels and Roles in Management
It helps to be acquainted with this information about management because, even among experienced managers, there are different interpretations. What is most important is that you come up with your own interpretations and be able to explain them to others with whom you work. See Common Terms and Roles in Management
Different Views of Management
Another view is that "management" is getting things done through others. Yet another view, quite apart from the traditional view, asserts that the job of management is to support employee's efforts to be fully productive members of the organizations and citizens of the community.  Shop to Shop Marketing agency in mumbai
To most employees, the term "management" probably means the group of people (executives and other managers) who are primarily responsible for making decisions in the organization. In a nonprofit, the term "management" might refer to all or any of the activities of the Board of Directors, executive director and/or program directors.
Some writers, teachers and practitioners assert that the above view is rather outmoded and that management needs to focus more on leadership skills, e.g., establishing vision and goals, communicating the vision and goals, and guiding others to accomplish them. They also assert that leadership must be more facilitative, participative and empowering in how visions and goals are established and carried out. Some people assert that this really isn't a change in the management functions, rather it's re-emphasizing certain aspects of management.   Experiential Marketing agency in mumbai
Is Leading Different Than Managing?
There seems to be an increasing number of perspectives that leading is different than managing. They explain that perspective with phrases like "Leaders do the right things, and managers do things right" or "Leaders lead people and managers manage resources". See the View That Leading is Different Than Managing. There are others who disagree with that view and agree with a more traditional view as included above.

WHAT IS LEADERSHIP?
Books and trainings about leadership often start by defining leadership. It is based on the premise that if you can come to your own definition, then you will be more clear about whether you are successfully leading or not, and you will be able to explain to your followers how you are leading them and why. When coming to your own definition, it helps to consider others' opinions and definitions.  Customer Acquisition agency in mumbai
There are hundreds of definitions of leadership and this is not an attempt to come to a consensus on a definition. The hope is to get readers to reflect on what they believe about leadership. It is also an attempt to give blog participants a general sense of how certain “experts” are describing leadership, in the hope that you may come to your own definition, which can then be used to guide your work.
Some view leadership as a series of specific traits or characteristics. Others see it as comprised of certain skills and knowledge. And some, me included, think of leadership as a process. This view of leadership, as a process, places an emphasis on social interaction and relationship. This is the idea that leadership is a type of relationship, one that typically includes influencing others in a certain direction. This leads to my current working definition of leadership: Leadership is a relationship that involves the mobilizing, influencing, and guiding of others toward desired goals. This definition does not assume that the goals are shared or even explicit. The word desire simply means that someone in the relationship, perhaps just the person in a leadership role, wants a particular outcome. The following are some definitions that have a bias toward leadership as a process:  Shop to Shop Marketing agency in mumbai
“Leadership     is a process of giving purpose (meaningful direction) to collective     effort, and causing willing effort to be expended to achieve purpose.”     (Jacobs & Jaques)
“Leadership     is the process of influencing the activities of an individual or a group     in efforts toward goal achievement in a given situation.” (Hersey &     Blanchard)
“Leadership     is an attempt at influencing the activities of followers through the     communication process and toward the attainment of some goal or goals.”     (Donelly)
“Leadership     is defined as the process of influencing the activities of an organized     group toward goal achievement.” (Rauch & Behling)
“Leadership     is interpersonal influence, exercised in a situation, and directed,     through the communication process, toward the attainment of a specified     goal or goals.” (Tannenbaum, et al)     Experiential     Marketing agency in mumbai
It has been my experience that many organizational leaders, knowingly or unknowingly, view leadership as a set of specific traits or skills. Below are a few definitions that are grounded in skills and, to a lesser extent, traits.

Facilities Management
Small-business planning often overlooks the critical importance of clarifying what facilities are needed to support the development and provision of a product or service, and then to plan how to get those facilities. That is true especially if you are providing a product rather than a service because a product often requires space to store the necessary materials and supplies to produce the product, as well as to develop it.
Important decisions about facilities include, for example: How much space do I need for storage? Production? Personnel? How should the facility represent my brand, my colors and tone? What about parking? What about expected future growth? Should I rent or buy? Customer Acquisition agency in mumbai
After answering the above questions and considering the guidelines in the following articles, write down your requirements for facilities. You, or any others who are helping you, can continually reference your requirements to ensure that your facilities meet your requirements.
Having having thought about your needs and preferences for facilities, you are ready to think about where to locate your business. Decisions include, for example: Do I want proximity to my customers? Proximity to my suppliers? Distance from my competitors? What municipalities might grant you some tax breaks if you locate near them? What about parking?  Shop to Shop Marketing agency in mumbai
Before you select a location, your answers to these questions should be written in a specification that you can reference when searching for a location or that you can bring to a real-estate agent. That way, you will be making the best choice based on your actual needs, rather than on your personal preferences.

Clarifying Your Unique Selling Position
Positioning includes identifying the unique market position, or "niche", for your organization. Positioning is accomplished through market analysis. Market analysis includes finding out what groups of potential customers (or markets) exist, what groups of customers you prefer to serve (target markets), what their needs are, what products or services you might develop to meet their needs, how the customers might prefer to use the products and services, what your competitors are doing, what pricing you should use and how you should distribute products and services to your target markets.
Various methods of market research are used to find out information about markets, target markets and their needs, competitors, etc. It's very useful to articulate a "positioning statement" or "unique selling position," which articulates what is unique about your organization and why people should buy from you, rather than from your competitors.  RWA Housing Society Activation
Some people differentiate between the unique selling proposition and the unique value proposition. They assert that the former is focused on the value to the seller (it's to sell a product or service). They assert that the latter unique is focused on the value to the customer -- to the benefits or value that he or she will gain from using the product or service. They assert that the latter cultivates a more
Your Best Elevator Pitch
How do you cut through the sheer marketing clutter and make your mark on your prospects’ minds? Create one distinct, memorable message that you use at every opportunity.
Core Marketing Message
Every business needs to distill their message down to an effective core marketing message that each employee can deliver comfortably at a cocktail party, and becomes the foundational message in company literature, videos; essentially, all advertising or promotion. It is also called your elevator pitch, and it focuses on solving your customers’ pain or problem.
Info You Need to Prepare to Develop Your Elevator Pitch
You can spend days or even weeks in this process, but we’re going to make it really easy for you. To get right down to the point, first answer these questions – IN WRITING:  Door to door marketing agency in mumbai
Profile     your ideal target customer/customer. Include demographics and lifestyle     choices.
What     PROBLEM, PAIN, or challenge does this target customer face?
What     SOLUTION does your product or service deliver for this problem or pain?
What     PROOF do you have, such as a customer success story?
What     makes you different from your competition? (It MUST be a difference that     matters to your customer.
How to Develop Your Elevator Pitch
REMEMBER THIS: DO NOT start talking about your product or service and what you do. Read that sentence again. INSTEAD, start talking about your customers and how you help solve their problem and ease their pain.   marketing company in mumbai
Imagine that you’re asked, “What do you do?” Here’s how to respond:
Start     with who you work with; “I work with small business owners and     entrepreneurs…”
Continue     by telling about their pain or problem; “…who need help taking their     business to the next level…”
PAUSE.     WAIT FOR A QUESTION OR RESPONSE.
Tell     them about a customer you’ve worked with and the results you achieved;     “…For example, I’ve worked with a 5 year old family business that needed a     business plan to raise money for expansion…”
This     could lead to more conversation about problems & solutions.
Tell     them your solution and what makes you different; “…we get very good     results, and have been told by venture capital investors that our plans     are among the best they’ve ever seen.”

Market Pricing
Marketing should include pricing analysis to decide how much to charge customers for a product or service and how that charge should be done, for example, as a fixed fee, sliding-fee scale, discounts or monthly payments.
Several major factors influence the pricing for a product or service. Strategic goals greatly influence pricing. For example, if the business really wants to get into a new market, then it might charge lower than usual prices in order to generate more customers who buy the service. The business might consider changing pricing if the demand for its products are very high or low. Competitor pricing also has a great effect. If competitors are charging much less, then the business might do well to lower prices. Similarly, if the competitor is charging much more, then the business might consider increasing its own prices.  RWA Housing Society Activation
In this pricing analysis, consider: Is your business recouping your costs (time, money, materials, etc.) to provide it? Is it affordable to customers? What about volume or other forms of discounts? What should be the new prices, if any? How do you know?
Pricing Strategies
Figuring out how to price your products or services is often very challenging, especially for a new venture. Yet you need a pricing strategy for your business plan, to determine your break-even point and profitability, and of course to launch your business. Here are some tips on how to make that decision:
Ultimately, the right price is usually the highest price customers will find attractive — that is to say, that they will find meets or exceeds their value expectations for the product or service you’re offering to them. That’s much easier said than done, so let’s start with some steps for getting there.  Door to door marketing agency in mumbai
First, Determine Your Unit Costs
Generally this should be relatively easy. What will it cost you to purchase, produce and sell your products? You may not know the precise figure, but you should have a pretty good idea by the time you write your business plan. Generally speaking, that represents your price floor; sell below that and you lose money. Next, determine how customers value your products
This is where market research is needed. The good news is that customers will tell you how much they’ll pay — if you can find the right way to ask. You can’t just ask them directly, for tons of research show that what they say and what they’ll do are two completely different realities. But what you can do is find out what they pay for more or less comparable things, and how they value various attributes of your product or service, particularly those different from your competitors. Be sure to study the pricing strategies of your competitors. Not necessarily to imitate but to recognize that your customers will be comparing what you offer (product, price, service) with what they offer.   marketing company in mumbai
Here are several of the most common pricing strategies:
Penetration Pricing
This is the low-cost approach, where you initially offer a price lower than your competitor’s for the purpose of attracting price-sensitive customers quickly. The downside of course is that you squeeze your profits; indeed in many cases new ventures choose to price below cost to bring in those early customers. The logic is that over time you become more efficient and can take advantage of bulk purchasing of raw materials, such that you begin to achieve profitability at that low price. The other downside is that your competitors might just match your price.

What is a Competitor Analysis? Competitive Intelligence?
A competitor analysis answer the following questions for each of your products and services:  RWA Housing Society Activation
Who are your competitors?
What     customer needs and preferences are you competing to meet?
What     are the similarities and differences between their products/services and     yours?
What     are the strengths and weaknesses of each of their products and services?
How     do their prices compare to yours?
How     are they doing overall?
How do you plan to compete?
Offer     better quality services?
Lower     prices?
More     support?
Easier     access to services?
How     are you uniquely suited to compete with them?
What's a Direct Competitor? Indirect Competitor?
Most of us are used to thinking of direct competitors – organizations that have products and services similar to ours and provided to the same target markets. However, there are also indirect competitors and they can have a strong adverse affect on your marketing plans.  Door to door marketing agency in mumbai
Indirect competitors are organizations that, while providing a somewhat different products and services, can affect your target market in such as way that it might not have a need for your products and services. For example, if you sell an educational product that aims to help high-school drop-outs obtain a high-school diploma, then an indirect competitor might be a nonprofit that provides services to reduce the overall high-school drop-out rate.

How to Conduct Market Research
Various methods of market research are used to find out information about markets, target markets and their needs, competitors, market trends, customer satisfaction with products and services, etc. Businesses can learn a great deal about customers, their needs, how to meet those needs and how the business is doing to meet those needs. Businesses need not to be experts at methods of research either.
Critical Role of Market Research
It is extremely difficult to develop and provide a high-quality product or service without conducting at least some basic market research. Some people have a strong aversion to the word “research” because they believe that the word implies a highly sophisticated set of techniques that only highly trained people can use. Some people also believe that, to o often, research generates lots of useless data that is in lots of written reports that rarely are ever read, much less used in the real world. This is a major misunderstanding.  RWA Housing Society Activation
Odds are that you have already conducted at least some basic forms of market research. For example, you have listened (a research technique) to others complain about not having enough of something -- that should suggest providing what they need in the form of a product or service. Market research has a variety of purposes and a variety of data collection methods might be used for each purpose. The particular data collection method that you use during your market research depends very much on the particular information that you are seeking to understand.
Uses for Market Research
The following paragraphs mention some of the primary uses for market research. Useful data collection methods are associated with most of the items in the following list.
1. Identify opportunities to serve various groups of customers.
Verify and understand the unmet needs of a certain group (or market) of customers. What do they say that they want? What do they say that they need? Some useful data collection methods might be, for example, conducting focus groups, interviewing customers and investors, reading the newspaper and other key library publications, and listening to what clients say and observing what they do. Later on, you might even develop a preliminary version of your product that you pilot, or test market, to verify if the product would sell or not.  Door to door marketing agency in mumbai
2. Examine the size of the market – how many people have the unmet need.
Identify various subgroups, or market segments, in that overall market along with each of their unique features and preferences. Useful data collection methods might be, for example, reading about demographic and societal trends in publications at the library. You might even observe each group for a while to notice what they do, where they go and what they discuss. Consider interviewing some members of each group. Finally, consider conducting a focus group or two among each group.
3. Determine the best methods to meet the unmet needs of the target markets.
How can you develop a product with the features and benefits to meet that unmet need? How can you ensure that you have the capacity to continue to meet the demand? Here’s where focus groups can really come in handy. Conduct some focus groups, including asking them about their preferences, unmet needs and how those needs might be met. Run your ideas past them. At the same time, ask them what they would need to use your services and what they would pay for them.   marketing company in mumbai
4. Investigate the competition.
Examine their products, services, marketing techniques, pricing, location, etc. One of the best ways to understand your competitors is to use their services. Go to their location, look around and look at some of their literature. Notice their ads in newsletters and the newspaper. Look at their web sites.
5. Clarify your unique value proposition.
Your proposition describes why others should use your organization and not the competition’s. A particularly useful data collection method in this area is the use of focus groups. Get some groups of potential clients together and tell them about your ideas. Tell them how your ideas are unique. Tell them how you would want your program to be seen (its positioning). Ask them what they think.

Organizing or Reorganizing an Organization and Its Employees
In addition to the articles on this current page, see the following blogs which have posts related to Organizing People and Organizing Staff. Scan down the blog's page to see various posts. Also see the section "Recent Blog Posts" in the sidebar of the blog or click on "next" near the bottom of a post in the blog.  marketing company in mumbai
Reorganizing Will Be Easier if You Have Been Doing ...
You will have a pretty good handle on the need for change and what changes must be done if you've been 1. Conducting strategic planning to regularly review the purpose of your organization, its overall goals and who should be doing what to meet those goals 2. Using sound principles of employee performance management to regularly review what employees should be doing to produce results, how they're doing toward their results, and what must be done to help them do a better job of achieving results
Typical Problems That Suggest Need for Reorganizing
There are a wide variety of reasons for reorganizing an organization, particularly in today's rapidly changing marketplace. However, there are several reasons for reorganization that seem to keep coming up in small businesses, whether for-profit or nonprofit. These reasons include 1. An employee keeps complaining (and you agree) that he or she is overloaded with work. 2. Employees complain that their activities overlap. 3. An employee indicates (and you agree) that he or she does not have enough work to do during a work day. 4. Employees complain that they're reporting to more than one boss, or supervisor. 5. An employee complains that their work includes very different tasks. For example, they may have a highly complex and demanding project (e.g., leading strategic planning) and a large routine, recurring task (sorting a great deal of the organization's daily mail). 6. Management notices a large amount of employee turnover, that is, employees don't stay long enough with the organization. 7. A department, or major function in the organization, has recurring problems.
NOTE: It is not always problems that provoke the need for reorganizing. For example, if the organization has been conducting strategic planning and produced new goals, these goals may require the organization to reorganize. For example, if the business wants to expand marketshare in a certain region, then the organization may need a new office in that region, more sales people, etc.  Society Activation Mumbai
First Guideline for Reorganizing - Revisit Overall Purpose of Business
Recurring problems often seem to have little to do with the business's overall purpose and goals. However, any attempts at reorganizing may be just fine tuning, or tweaking, if not done with the long term in mind. In fact, the recurring problems may be a symptom of the organization's not having clearly thought out what its overall purpose and goals are. Without visiting the overall purpose and goals, redesign is usually a highly reactive and very short-term fix. Carefully consider conducting a strategic planning process to guide you through reviewing your organization's purpose.
How Is Organization-Wide Change Best Carried Out?
Successful change must involve top management, including the board and chief executive. Usually there's a champion who initially instigates the change by being visionary, persuasive and consistent. A change agent role is usually responsible to translate the vision to a realistic plan and carry out the plan. Change is usually best carried out as a team-wide effort. Communications about the change should be frequent and with all organization members. To sustain change, the structures of the organization itself should be modified, including strategic plans, policies and procedures. This change in the structures of the organization typically involves an unfreezing, change and re-freezing process.  merchant onboarding agency in mumbai
The best approaches to address resistances is through increased and sustained communications and education. For example, the leader should meet with all managers and staff to explain reasons for the change, how it generally will be carried out and where others can go for additional information. A plan should be developed and communicated. Plans do change. That's fine, but communicate that the plan has changed and why. Forums should be held for organization members to express their ideas for the plan. They should be able to express their concerns and frustrations as well. For additional information, see the topic Guidelines, Methods and Resources for Organizational Change Agents.

Myths About Stress and Time Management
Myth #1: All stress is bad. No, there's good and bad stress. Good stress is excitement, thrills, etc. The goal is to recognize personal signs of bad stress and deal with them.
Myth #2: Planning my time just takes more time. Actually, research shows the opposite.
Myth #3: I get more done in more time when I wisely use caffeine, sugar, alcohol or nicotine. Wrong! Research shows that the body always has to "come down" and when it does, you can't always be very effective then after the boost.
Myth #4: A time management problem means that there's not enough time to get done what needs to get done. No, a time management problem is not using your time to your fullest advantage, to get done what you want done.
Myth #5: The busier I am, the better I'm using my time. Look out! You may only be doing what's urgent, and not what's important.  marketing company in mumbai
Myth #6: I feel very harried, busy, so I must have a time management problem. Not necessarily. You should verify that you have a time management problem. This requires knowing what you really want to get done and if it is getting done or not.
Myth #7: I feel OK, so I must not be stressed. In reality, many adults don't even know when they're really stressed out until their bodies tell them so. They miss the early warning signs from their body, for example, headaches, still backs, twitches, etc.
Major Causes of Workplace Stress
Not     knowing what you want or if you're getting it - poor planning.
The     feeling that there's too much to do. One can have this feeling even if     there's hardly anything to do at all.
Not     enjoying your job. This can be caused by lots of things, for example, not     knowing what you want, not eating well, etc. However, most people always     blame their jobs.
Conflicting     demands on the job.
Insufficient     resources to do the job.6. Not feeling appreciated.  Society Activation     Mumbai
Biggest Time Wasters
Interruptions.     There will always be interruptions. It's how they're handled that wastes     time.
Hopelessness.     People "give in", "numb out" and "march through     the day".
Poor     delegation skills. This involves not sharing work with others.
Common Symptoms of Poor Stress and Time Management
Irritability.     Fellow workers notice this first.
Fatigue.     How many adults even notice this?
Difficulty     concentrating. You often don't need to just to get through the day!
Forgetfulness.     You can't remember what you did all day, what you ate yesterday.
Loss     of sleep. This affects everything else!
Physical     disorders, for example, headaches, rashes, tics, cramps, etc.
At     worst, withdrawal and depression.  merchant     onboarding agency in mumbai
Wise Principles of Good Stress and Time Management
Learn     your signs for being overstressed or having a time management problem. Ask     your friends about you. Perhaps they can tell you what they see from you     when you're overstressed.
Most     people feel that they are stressed and/or have a time management problem.     Verify that you really have a problem. What do you see, hear or feel that     leads you to conclude that you have a time or stress problem?
Don't     have the illusion that doing more will make you happier. Is it quantity of     time that you want, or quality?
Stress     and time management problems have many causes and usually require more     than one technique to fix. You don't need a lot of techniques, usually     more than one, but not a lot.
One     of the major benefits of doing time planning is feeling that you're in     control.
Focus     on results, not on busyness.
It's     the trying that counts - at least as much as doing the perfect technique.

"Creativity simply means being able to come up with something new. Therefore, creative thinking is the ability to consider something – a conflict between employees, a data set, a group project – in a new way." Alison Doyle in this article:
Benefits and Examples of Creative Thinking
There are numerous examples of creative thinking in our lives, but we usually don't think of them as such, for example, when you discover a more efficient way of getting something done. In that situation, you were using your creative thinking skill to be creative. Here are articles about other examples, as well as about the benefits of creative thinking of which there are many.  Society Activation Mumbai

Contemporary Theories
Contingency Theory
Basically, contingency theory asserts that when managers make a decision, they must take into account all aspects of the current situation and act on those aspects that are key to the situation at hand. Basically, it’s the approach that “it depends.” For example, the continuing effort to identify the best leadership or management style might now conclude that the best style depends on the situation. If one is leading troops in the Persian Gulf, an autocratic style is probably best (of course, many might argue here, too). If one is leading a hospital or university, a more participative and facilitative leadership style is probably best. marketing company in mumbai
Systems Theory
Systems theory has had a significant effect on management science and understanding organizations. First, let’s look at “what is a system?” A system is a collection of part unified to accomplish an overall goal. If one part of the system is removed, the nature of the system is changed as well. For example, a pile of sand is not a system. If one removes a sand particle, you’ve still got a pile of sand. However, a functioning car is a system. Remove the carburetor and you’ve no longer got a working car. A system can be looked at as having inputs, processes, outputs and outcomes. Systems share feedback among each of these four aspects of the systems. Society Activation Mumbai
Let’s look at an organization. Inputs would include resources such as raw materials, money, technologies and people. These inputs go through a process where they’re planned, organized, motivated and controlled, ultimately to meet the organization’s goals. Outputs would be products or services to a market. Outcomes would be, e.g., enhanced quality of life or productivity for customers/clients, productivity. Feedback would be information from human resources carrying out the process, customers/clients using the products, etc. Feedback also comes from the larger environment of the organization, e.g., influences from government, society, economics, and technologies. This overall system framework applies to any system, including subsystems (departments, programs, etc.) in the overall organization.
Systems theory may seem quite basic. Yet, decades of management training and practices in the workplace have not followed this theory. Only recently, with tremendous changes facing organizations and how they operate, have educators and managers come to face this new way of looking at things. This interpretation has brought about a significant change (or paradigm shift) in the way management studies and approaches organizations. merchant onboarding agency in mumbai
The effect of systems theory in management is that writers, educators, consultants, etc. are helping managers to look at the organization from a broader perspective. Systems theory has brought a new perspective for managers to interpret patterns and events in the workplace. They recognize the various parts of the organization, and, in particular, the interrelations of the parts, e.g., the coordination of central administration with its programs, engineering with manufacturing, supervisors with workers, etc. This is a major development. In the past, managers typically took one part and focused on that. Then they moved all attention to another part. The problem was that an organization could, e.g., have a wonderful central administration and wonderful set of teachers, but the departments didn’t synchronize at all. See the category

What Should You Write in Your Ads?
The answer to this question depends almost entirely on the reading and listening habits of your current and potential customers. This is where some basic market research can help you a great deal. A lot can be learned by using a few basic methods. (See Basic Methods to Get Customer Feedback and Some Major Sources of Market Research Information.)
Before you write your ads, you should give careful thought to your unique selling position so you know what unique features and benefits to convey and to whom. Review information in Positioning.
Note that a common mistake among inexperienced ad writers is to write the ad to themselves, rather than to their current and potential customers. Your ads should clearly the benefits (of products and services) to customers, not the benefits to you -- clearly state the ads in terms that the customer will value, for example, easy access, low cost, easy to use, reliability, etc. Your ads should answer the customer's question: "What's in it for me?" Your ad should also specify what they are to do next. What action should they take and how do they take it, for example, who do they call and how.
Major Methods of Advertising (Repeatedly Getting Message Out)
Brochures or flyers
-- Many desk-top publishing and word-processing software packages can produce highly attractive tri-fold (an 8.5 inch by 11-inch sheet folded in thirds) brochures. Brochures can contain a great deal of information if designed well, and are becoming a common method of advertising. (See Writing Brochures.) marketing company in mumbai
Direct mail -- Mail sent directly from you to your customers can be highly customized to suit their nature and needs. You may want to build a mailing list of your current and desired customers. Collect addresses from customers by noticing addresses on their checks, asking them to fill out information cards, etc. Keep the list online and up-to-date. Mailing lists can quickly become out-of-date. Notice mailings that get returned to you. This should be used carefully and it can incur substantial cost, you don't want to inundate your stakeholders with information so make the most of your message. (See Using Direct Mail and Mailing Lists.) Society Activation Mumbai
E-mail messages -- These can be wonderful means to getting the word out about your business. Design your e-mail software to include a "signature line" at the end of each of your e-mail messages. Many e-mail software packages will automatically attach this signature line to your e-mail, if you prefer. (See Netiquette - Techniques and styles of writing e-mail messages and E-mail vs. voice mail.)
Magazines -- Magazines ads can get quite expensive. Find out if there's a magazine that focuses on your particular industry. If there is one, then the magazine can be very useful because it already focuses on your market and potential customers. Consider placing an ad or writing a short article for the magazine. Contact a reporter to introduce yourself. Reporters are often on the look out for new stories and sources from which to collect quotes. (See Classifieds of Newspapers and Magazines.)
Newsletters -- This can be powerful means to conveying the nature of your organization and its services. Consider using a consultant for the initial design and layout. Today's desktop publishing tools can generate very interesting newsletters quite inexpensively. (See Newsletters.)
Newspapers (major) - Almost everyone reads the local, major newspaper(s). You can get your business in the newspaper by placing ads, writing a letter to the editor or working with a reporter to get a story written about your business. Advertising can get quite expensive. Newspaper are often quite useful in giving advice about what and how to advertise. Know when to advertise -- this depends on the buying habits of your customers. (See Classifieds of Newspapers and Magazines.)
Newspapers (neighborhood) -- Ironically, these are often forgotten in lieu of major newspapers, yet the neighborhood newspapers are often closest to the interests of the organization's stakeholders. (See Classifieds of Newspapers and Magazines.)
Online discussion groups and chat groups -- As with e-mail, you can gain frequent exposure to yourself and your business by participating in online discussion groups and chat groups. Note, however, that many groups have strong groundrules against blatant advertising. When you join a group, always check with the moderator to understand what is appropriate. (See the groups listed on the right-hand side, Netiquette - Techniques and styles of writing e-mail messages and E-mail vs. voice mail.)
Posters and bulletin boards -- Posters can be very powerful when placed where your customers will actually notice them. But think of how often you've actually noticed posters and bulletin boards yourself. Your best bet is to place the posters on bulletin boards and other places which your customers frequent, and always refresh your posters with new and colorful posters that will appear new to passers by. Note that some businesses and municipalities have regulations about the number of size of posters that can be placed in their areas. (See Signs and Displays. merchant onboarding agency in mumbai
Radio announcements -- A major advantage of radio ads is they are usually cheaper than television ads, and many people still listen to the radio, for example, when in their cars. Ads are usually sold on a package basis that considers the number of ads, the length of ads and when they are put on the air. . A major consideration with radio ads is to get them announced at the times that your potential customers are listening to the radio. (See Advertising on Radio and T.V.)
Telemarketing -- The use of telemarketing is on the rise. (See Telemarketing.)
Television ads -- Many people don't even consider television ads because of the impression that the ads are very expensive. They are more expensive than most of major forms of advertising. However, with the increasing number of television networks and stations, businesses might find good deals for placing commercials or other forms of advertisements. Television ads usually are priced with similar considerations to radio ads, that is, the number of ads, the length of ads and when they are put on the air. (See Advertising on Radio and T.V.)
Web pages -- You probably would not have seen this means of advertising on a list of advertising methods if you had read a list even two years ago. Now, advertising and promotions on the World Wide Web are almost commonplace. Businesses are developing Web pages sometimes just to appear up-to-date. Using the Web for advertising requires certain equipment and expertise, including getting a computer, getting an Internet service provider, buying (usually renting) a Website name, designing and installing the Website graphics and other functions as needed (for example, an online store for e-commerce), promoting the Website (via various search engines, directories, etc.) and maintaining the Website. (See Building, Managing and Promoting Your Website and Online Advertising and Promotions.)
Yellow Pages --The Yellow Pages can be very effective advertising if your ads are well-placed in the directory's categories of services, and the name of your business is descriptive of your services and/or your ad stands out (for example, is bolded, in a large box on the page, etc.). The phone company will offer free advice about placing your ad in the Yellow Pages. They usually have special packages where you get a business phone line along with a certain number of ads.

Step 2: Customize Your Welcome Email
When a person first subscribes to your email list, it’s important to send them a welcome email.
A welcome email is the first step to developing a relationship with your new subscriber. If it’s a good email, they’ll be more likely to open future emails from you.
A welcome email can also help your email deliverability. “Deliverability” refers to the ability of your emails to reach the person’s inbox, instead of going into the spam folder or being blocked altogether. marketing company in mumbai
A good welcome email will include:
Introduction – introduce yourself just like if you were meeting them in person
Expectation setting – tell them what kind of emails they’ll get from you going forward
Whitelist instructions – give them tips to make sure your emails reach the inbox
Not sure what to write? Here are a few welcome email examples for your inspiration.
Step 3: Start an Email List
Lead generation is a big challenge for any blogger or business. It’s important to start and grow your list the right way, without taking shortcuts that can hurt you in the long run.
Before we look at how to start an email list, let’s talk about a couple of things NOT to do when starting your list:
DON’T Buy an Email List
It might be tempting to spend some money to get a head start on growing your list, but buying an email list is actually a very bad idea.
You’re not likely to get very good results when you email people out of the blue and they have no idea who you are. They’re more likely to report your email as spam, than to click on your links and buy your products.
And if enough of those people report your emails as spam, that could ruin your reputation and deliverability, making it even harder to grow your email list the right way. marketing company in mumbai
DON’T Add Subscribers Without Permission
In general, you want to make sure you’re asking people to subscribe to your newsletter before adding them to your list.
If you have a list of emails from other sources (like your personal contacts, in-person events, etc.), it’s not a good idea to just add them to your email list without asking, for the same reasons you shouldn’t buy a list.
Growing your email list the right way may be slower in the beginning, but it will set you up for success in the long run.
Ready? Here are the best ways to grow your email list the right way.
Top 6 Ways to Grow Your Email List
Adding a simple signup form to your sidebar is smart, but it won’t grow your list very fast.
If you’re serious about growing your email list as quickly as possible, try these tips:
Create an exit intent popup optin form using a tool like OptinMonster.
Add a link to your social media bios.
Host a viral giveaway using a free contest plugin like RafflePress.
Create a simple PDF ebook or other freebie in exchange for signups.
Use social proof with a popup that shows signups in real time.
Explain the benefits of subscribing and optimize your calls-to-action.
See our guide on how to get more email subscribers for more tips and details.
Step 4: Send Email Newsletters
Now that you have people signing up to your list, it’s time to start sending them email newsletters.
What to Include in Your Email Newsletter
Wondering what you should send your subscribers?
If you’re a blogger, it’s a great idea to send a regular email newsletter to tell subscribers about new posts on your blog. marketing company in mumbai
Besides new blog posts, you could also include exclusive content that they won’t find on your blog, such as interviews, coupons or sales, giveaways, and more.
You can choose to make your email just plain text, or add images for interest.
Each email should have a single goal. This will keep your readers focused and engaged. If your email has too many links or asks your subscribers to do too many things, none of them will get the attention they deserve.
How to Send an Email Newsletter
We’ll show you how to do this using Constant Contact, since it’s our favorite email marketing service.
First log in to your account and go to Campaigns » Create. Then select a campaign to get started. You’ll want to click Email at the top to send a basic newsletter to your list.

Basic Guidelines for Naming and Branding
To effectively promote your product, you must have a concise, yet meaningful description of the product. This can be much more complicated than merely picking a name. There are consultancies built around helping organizations to name or brand their products and services. You have to be sure that you’re not using a name that is already trademarked or service marked and Door to door marketing agency in mumbai. You should not have a name that closely resembles an already established name in your area, or customers will confuse your services with those referred to by the other name – or, the organization with the other name may choose to sue you. You need a name that makes sense locally, but if you grow, the name will still be understood elsewhere. The name you choose for your product will be around for a long time and can have substantial impact on how your products are perceived. Therefore, seriously consider some basic forms of market research to glean impressions of different names. For example, convene several focus groups to glean their reactions to various names. Have survey cards that clients can complete to suggest names and RWA Housing Society Activation.
Branding Your Organization or Product
To effectively promote your organization or product, you need to continue to establish its strong reputation and personality, or brand, for it. To understand what a brand is, think of some very common company names, the logos they use, the slogans it uses, the standard colors of the logos and the types of values that it tries to convey in its advertising. All of those together accomplish the company’s brand – so the name is really part of the overall brand. There can be a brand for an organization and for each of its products. Similar to naming an organization or product, the brand should be unique.
That’s why it’s useful to develop the name and brand during the same activity – an activity that should include researching what other companies are using, what stakeholders (or distinct types of groups) you want to influence, and what you want each group to think about you. As with other aspects of the marketing analysis, the choice of the research methods you choose to use depends on your skill level, the resources that you have available, what you can afford and how much time you have at marketing company in mumbai.
1. You need a name that conveys the nature of the service and, ideally, your unique value proposition – your unique value proposition is a concise description of your product or service, how it is unique, and why people should buy from you, rather than from your competitors.
2. You need a name and brand that makes sense locally, but will still be understood if the program extends elsewhere. The name you choose will be around for a long time and can have substantial impact on how your services are perceived.
3. You have to be sure that you are not using a name that is already trademarked or service marked. You might verify this by: a) Looking in the Yellow Pages of your local telephone directory. b) Calling the appropriate governmental office (for example, contact the Secretary of State’s office in the USA or contact the appropriate provincial office in Canada) to see if similar names are registered.
4. You should not have a name that closely resembles an already established name in your geographic area or service field because clients will confuse your services with those referred to by the other name. The organization with the other name may even choose to sue you.
5. Should you use a different name for each target market? Note that you can likely benefit a great deal from hiring a marketing consultant to help you design and build your marketing materials so they effectively convey the personality, or brand, of your program and the overall organization. The consultant can help you with selection and design of:
·         Name
·         Colors
·         Logo     (text and image)
·         Business     cards
·         Labels
·         Envelopes
·         Web     pages
