This week Ben is dealing with some critic’s remorse, but Andrew is here to help him process his thoughts and improve his video game assessment method. After talking about what’s new for each of them, they get right into the definition. From unwanted Instagram solicitations to well-known Chicagoan movie reviewers… the conversation goes to some strange destinations before settling down upon the task at hand. Andrew provides his input on Ben’s plan of attack, Ben learns a cool new word to add to his vocabulary, and they end the show with some advice and a silly drink name.

I’m making a Kickstarter Make 100. Is it a callow cash grab, or an inspired oomph filled carpe of diem? Who cares! $2 gets you a thing! And we’re into stretch goal time. Back now and definitely get a thing. Maybe even multiple things!
And by things, I mean zines, comics and stickers. You know. Funzies!

Andrew from Partly Robot Industries ( https://partlyrobot.com/ ) joins Ben this week to share his vacationing experiences with his family in Italy! After Ben delivers the obligatory definition along with a side of geographic facts, they dive right in to the storytelling festivities. Andrew talks about the interesting history of Vatican City, his experience driving a Fiat 500L, staying at a farmhouse in Tuscany, a feast catered by a gaggle of nonne, and literally being “star crossed” the morning of a music festival in the Italian city of Lucca.

Hey! This is still here!
I spent so much time hating Twitter over the last few years, I totally forgot I had a Tumblr! So this is neat. Still has the genuine Partly Robot handle even. Not much to say about this at this moment. Lots of weird rabbit holes I’m falling down. Project updates might be coming as soon as I trick a college student into being my social media intern.

And then there was this one time that I read a New York Times piece on a new breed of successfully published poets that get their following on Tumblr. And then I remembered. I have a Tumblr. I also have a Creative Writing degree gathering dust. And I used to have a cat, until she got hit by a car one Christmas Eve. I am a poet. Can I haz publishing deal, PLEEZE?
