i hate that i’m so absent as a person. i don’t start conversations. i can barely maintain them. i’m so weary and spaced out all the time to the point where i can’t even keep up small talk and i’m just so disappointed in myself

I feel like I don’t have anywhere else to post this cause I have friends/roommates on twitter but I’m just really sad right now so I’m putting it here. I just need somewhere to rant cause I feel like I have no one else to talk to about this. my roommate has been calling out my insecurities and she doesn’t do it in a way to hurt me but they’re things I’ve been insecure about for years and things that other people (including my family) have brought up a lot. it’s like a running gag. I mean, obviously they’re true, but it hurts to know that and to have her bring them up. I’m just really hurt right now and I don’t know what to do 😔 and they’re not even things I can change. my self esteem continues to get lower and lower every day.
