It's hard to think you know that there are times that you can't fix a situation. At least it's hard for me. I always want to be a le to fix things. I want to fix my sister's broken heart. My family's money problems. The freaking coronavirus issue. But I have to trust that things will sort themselves out. I can't always be in control. I am not even in control of my own life, how can I want to fix everyone else's? It's hard to think that life has to have the bad situations, that there isn't an easy fix for all that ails us. And it's even worse when you are finally getting to a place of contentment, or even, to a palce of happiness and love. How can you not feel a little guilty for being happy when others are suffering?

I feel like we all just universally imagine the Avengers in/right after 2012 as being a group of some sort of glorified firefighters who live together in the Tower and watch movies and play cards while they wait for an alarm bell to ring, indicating some sort of disaster, and then they all get up and suit up with varying senses of urgency, and I think that’s beautiful.

How do you feel about liberal arts institutions that only require you to study writing and literature to get a degree?

I think that might be the right choice for a student who’s already gotten a solid general education and knows that language and literature is what they want to specialize in, while it might be the wrong choice for a student who hasn’t had comprehensive general education opportunities or doesn’t know yet what they want to study. Good education is as variable as the people who pursue it.

The only reason I would want that type of wealth is to share it and help those less fortunate out. It angers me how people can waste money on a car or home they won't even use, yet refuse to help those who can't even afford to eat

Don’t confuse my hatred of the hyperwealthy for jealousy over what they have. I don’t want a six figure sports car, or a 40 room mansion, or a gold leaf truffle wagyu steak dinner. I want redistribution of wealth that allows for infrastructural support of all citizens’ basic survival needs.

Venom (2018)

When Eddie Brock acquires the powers of a symbiote, he will have to release his alter-ego “Venom” to save his life.

I am not sure why this film has such a low score with the critics, because this is a funny and very entertaining film. I really enjoyed and it made me laugh too. Do check it out.

There are two post movie scenes. One is mid credits and the other one, which is a very strange one, is at the end of credits.
