anyways ari doesnt realize shes a lesbian, shes just like ‘oh yes my best friend annabeth who i have completely platonic feelings for’ and annabeth realizes shes bi but shes stuck in yearning hell not wanting to risk their friendship or creep ari out

most story beats would stay the same (tho titans curse would probably need a serious overhaul so good thing im not talking about that x) and they do still mess up circes island tho im not sure why yet, but in botl annabeth does NOT kiss ari, and only figures out after ari is missing that shes bi

(meanwhile on calypsos island ari is like ‘ohh sorry im not into girls like that’ and calypso is like yeah the gods always send heroes who cant love me)

anyways they dont get together after the last olympian, instead ari wakes up amnesiac in the woods with only the memory of annabeth and shes like ‘ohhh that must be my girlfriend’ and doesnt question it again

now this is my hc for just regular canon percy too that even after the gorgons blood the old memories and the new ones formed in the in between would get a little mixed up so the argo II arrives in new rome and annabeth runs up to ari to go in for a hug when ari just starts kissing her (annabeth is so shocked she forgets to even judoflip her) n e ways they make it official that night in the stables and that would make the rome date their first real date

Pssss Tangled with Bill Cipher as Mother Gothel and grunkle Stan as Flynn Ryder and Grunkle Ford as Prince of Corona?

no no no, my friend

Stan and Ford are BOTH Flynn Ryder. both brothers are notorious outlaws who steal and hide from the soldiers. rumors go around that they’re not one criminal, but two with the same face, but no one is quite sure

they’re running from the castle guards and run up the tower and find Dipper and Mabel, who live in the tower. Dipper and Mabel BOTH inherited the Sun’s magic, but as a child, Dipper got food stuck in his hair and had to cut, so he has it short and brown. Bill was fine with this, since he still had Mabel, tho he wished he could get rid of Dipper, but that would only make things difficult so he kept them both.

Mabel wants to go out and see the floating lights, dipper wants to understand exactly what they are since they don’t match any constellations he’s mapped, and both are just bored and want to go out of the tower. Mabel ties both up with her hair, and Dipper manages the deal. Stan and Ford don’t really feel comfortable with the idea of letting these kids go into the woods, but they’re strong armed into it and eventually accept. plus, they feel better about escorting the kids themselves

so the kids have fun with Stan and Ford and learn about each other (Stan and Ford were both orphans who wanted a life of adventure and fame and just. more in life)

they eventually find out about Mabel’s healing powers after they get hurt trying to escape the soldiers, and they all go to see the lanterns, just like the kids always wished, and Ford and Stan start to wanna keep the kids, because the more they learn about the kid’s home life, the more they don’t like it, but they’re also wanted criminals…

Bill kidnaps Stan, Ford, and Dipper near the end and forces Mabel to go back with him. Stan manages to escape and, while he gets stabbed, he manages to cut Mabel’s hair so Bill can’t have her anymore. Bill begins to die, because the majority of his youth came from Mabel’s hair.

however, Dipper has one long lock of golden hair hidden underneath his hat. it was all that was left of the incident from when he was a kid. it’s enough to save Stan, and after that, that lock turns brown–it’s power was all used up. so it gets cut as well

the kids realized that they’re the missing royalty and Stan and Ford return them to the castle. Right as they’re about to leave, Mabel and Dipper pull them into a hug with their parents and the king and queen decide to let them stay with the kids, as well as dropping all charges on them.

mabel pines had seen a lot of weird things since arriving in gravity falls. previously, that list had been topped by ‘secret basement portal to another dimension’. as of five minutes ago, it was a denture-less, yet just as grumpy, version of her grunkle stan who looked about thirty years too young.

Toy Story AU!!!!

So Jack is an action figure of real life hockey player Jack Zimmermann, his kid is a girl that’s a massive fan of The Falconers.

Jack isn’t Jenny’s favourite toy, but it’s not a bad life. He gets played with often and every time there’s a game he’ll be pulled from his special shelf to watch it with her. He once got to go to a hockey camp for a whole summer. It was awesome.

When she’s not around, he spends most of his time perfecting the shots and replaying the stuff he saw real him do.

The rest of the toys don’t like him much, first because he’s obsessed with hockey, and second, it’s weird that he is based on a real person. Jack isn’t considered a ‘real toy’ by the others.

Fic idea: AU where Dipper and Mabel fall through the Bottomless Pit sometime around late season 1/early season 2, and instead of making it back out twenty minutes later, they instead get stuck in some strange and unfamiliar dimension, and end up getting help from a bunch of different Portal Fords and Stans from across the multiverse as they try to find their way back home.

It’s not just an AU, but a multi-AU crossover. I imagine them first running into a fairly young Ford and a Stan that fell through together in 1982, and were able to defeat their Bill but haven’t been able to get back to their dimension yet. (I generally headcanon that there’s multiple Bills in the multiverse, though there are less Bills than Fords, meaning some dimensions share a Bill.) This Stan and Ford duo is who explains most of the details to the younger twins, and look after them for a week or so, but eventually pass the kids on to a different Stan or Ford who they think is more likely to find their way to the original dimension the kids came from.

Over the span of a month or so, Dipper and Mabel run into all sorts of versions of the elder twins - maybe even a portal Fidds or two, or the entire Mystery Trio. There’s a Reverse Portal Stan who fell through in 1982, of course, as well as a Stan who fell through in NWHS and met up with Ford then like @sightkeeper‘s Grifting Stars AU, or even Six-Sights from A Thousand Natural Shocks by @dubsdeedubs. They could encounter a Ford who’s much like canon Ford, except still in his thirties because their timelines aren’t synced up… the possibilities are endless! (And that’s not even accounting for potential crossovers!)

TL;DR: A family can be two twelve year olds and their 200 grunkles from scattered dimensions across the multiverse.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I have time to actually write this - I would if I could. If anyone wants to do something with this concept, you have my full encouragement! (Though credit would be appreciated, of course.)
