so great to hear from you! I was at the era’s Gillette rain show before TTPD’s existence…you’re so fortunate to experience it twice! That era looks unbelievably cinematic. Is it your favourite? I hope the second show you get to take in more detail. (and I re-read your hot take on all things Chiefs and Travis 😂 you must’ve been 🤯 about the Super Bowl win)
Gillette! Now that is a venue I'd love to go to!
Omg, when Travis and her happened I was so stunned, like you don't get it, I'm a hardcore Chief's fan. Actually mostly surprised that she choose to date a hot manly man, which I totally support. And listen, I've been their fan in this golden age when they are dominating, so anything less than winning is not acceptable 😂
Hard to pick a favorite era but I still feel like folkmore might be my favorite... But also Midnights and TTPD. Obviously it's hard to pick 😂
Just overall super exciting times for both of them, it's so fun to watch it happen.

how was the show?!!😊
Hey guys, my regular check in once in 6 months 😂
The show in Lisabon was amazing... Actually everything about Lisbon was amazing. I think I fell in love with the city a bit.
But the show was great, it felt like it's 1 hour and it just flies past. And TTPD part was amazing (I actually think I could not bring myself to listen to anything other than TTPD for like 2-3 months, the album made me revisit so many of my experiences, and just in general I think it's super relatable). The only weird thing is that I realized after the concert that I can't really remember much other than having a blast for 3.5 hours... But I read somewhere that is normal.
Now, I am saying this as I am waiting outside San Siro in Milan, so tonight I'll try to remember more 😂
Just wanted to check in since I have quite a few messages like this in my inbox 😄 if anyone wants to chat about your favorite TTPD album moments, let me know, I'll probably check my inbox after concert. Thank you guys for all the messages, really appeciate it!

Hey :) I hope you are doing well. I miss your blog so much! Your Taylor updates were the best <3
Hi guys! I have so, so many similar messages in my inbox - thank you guys for thinking of me and sending good vibes all the time even when I am not around 😊
Even though I have not been active, I have been following all Taylor-related news just like before. I just wanna say how proud I am of Taylor and everything she's accomplished. Following her in this past year has been such a joy.
Also, as someone who has started following NFL since Mahomes became starting QB for Chiefs... let me tell you - I am living for Taylor and Travis. Mahomes was absolutely brilliant from day one (the way he organizes plays, his passing ability, his understanding of the game - I am obsessed) so I've watched Chiefs for ages and I've known about Travis for a good while. Not gonna lie, he always stood out to me cause he is one of the best players in the league and... he is hot and super nice to look at. In full honesty, I have thought about this once or twice, like "he would look so good with Taylor, too bad Taylor doesn't like hot guys" 🤣
When the whole friendship bracelet thing happened, I was so amused and like, I wished that would happen, but knew it won't cause he's too hot and handsome and manly for her taste... so when this actually started happening, I literally could not fucking believe it. Like, this is the thing that I have quietly thought about on and off throughout last 6 years, and always dismissed it as "not a chance in hell", and then it fucking happened. And she looks so happy and at ease lately, and finally ready to accept who she is and what she deserves and it all makes me so happy for her.
Now, I wish I had time to be around more, but that is probably not happening, it's just not feasible with the pace of my life - however, I will be here from time to time occasionally, lurking and reading your messages. So maybe I'll respond to some in future - again, thank you for sending so much love my way and for letting me know how much you miss my updates.
In other news, I will be seeing Taylor next year in Lisbon and Milan - so I can't fucking wait for that!

A night out with her lover.
Taylor Swift and her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn had a rare date night out when they attended the CAA Pre-Oscar Party on Friday, March 25 at the San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood. Although the couple kept a relatively low profile and did not pose for any photos, a source tells E! News that the 32-year-old singer and the 31-year-old British actor "looked very much in love and were together majority of the night."
"Taylor was hanging out at the bar chatting with Zoe Kravitz for a while," the source said. "Both of them were laughing and had smiles on their faces."
According to the eyewitness, Taylor also ran into Hailey Bieber and the two stars said hello at the bar.
"Taylor was introducing Joe to many people around her," the source added. "She looked smitten and proud to be there with him."
A second source concurred, telling E! News, that Taylor and Joe "were very coupley and cute and seemed happy to be there together."

The eyewitness says the couple also hung out with one of Taylor's BFFs Alana Haim and they were "laughing and chatting and having a great time."

Swifties swear by their hero's superb songwriting, likability and top of the line production as to why her shows are so compelling. All of that is indeed there. And so is, just as importantly, the feeling of being relatable. Like Adele, Swift makes her fans feel she is one of them, despite being a megastar. And that ease translates to her live shows.

It’s been about four months since All Too Well: The Short Film was released. Did you have any preconceived notions of what Taylor Swift would be like as a director?
I immediately assumed she would be incredibly thoughtful and meticulous - really prepared, with really good instincts on how she would want to tell her story. I think she’s one of the greatest storytellers of our generation, or any generation. She is a born poet and storyteller, even in how she speaks, who she is as a person, her insight into relationships and dynamics; she’s so emotionally intelligent like that. So it wasn’t a surprise that when we first spoke she had the whole video laid out to a T, and what she wanted to execute and how.
What can you tell us about the set of the video, and Swift as a director?
The things that you don’t know are that when you get on set, she is so trusting and free, and not precious. That comes from a lot of confidence. We would do one take and she’d be like [snaps fingers], ‘Got it! Moving on!’ She always knows what she has and what she needs. That’s a tool from a director that’s really handy, and often times you only find with experienced directors who take years to build up that kind of confidence. She’s just fucking brilliant.
I couldn’t believe that she knew who I was, let alone that she called me to be in the video. It was such an automatic yes. I never doubted for a second that she would do something amazing with the video. I remember this from the first conversation: If I or Sadie didn’t say yes she might not have made it, because she’s so particular about the things she does and how she puts them out - like, ‘If I can’t put them out in the way intend to, then I’d rather not do it at all.’ She’s just a straight G, man [laughs]. And an incredible fuckin’ person, too.
Taylor’s fanbase is obviously what it is. Your fanbase adores you, too. Did it ever feel like a lot to be caught up in speculation of who the song is about and other topics of fan discussion?
No, it’s never felt like a lot. Whenever my face is going to be out there in any capacity, there’s general anxiety. And this was on a big platform, a whole world of collective Swiftie units. It’s definitely a heightened platform, but she as a person - from my first conversation with her I was so comfortable. We’re the same age, I think we have a lot of mutual friends, we just got along straight out of the gate. It always felt safe, and then releasing it was a heightened experience.
As far as people trying to figure out who it’s about, but that’s so not what it’s about for her, and that’s what I love about it so much. And then for me, my interpretation coming into it was that I felt she was trying to execute something that’s really hard to execute: these relational dynamics that are so complex and so nuanced, with a gap in age, power and status. I thought it was a really impactful thing that she was trying to say. That’s where my interest was. I thought if we could execute that on this platform, that would be really strong and important. And we did.

From the first phone call I had with her, she had it all laid out. And then for somebody who is that intentional and meticulous and smart, she also was able to show up on the day and let all that go. For instance, the (argument) scene that she lets play out in the kitchen, that was not planned. We were improvising this scene and it just felt so good that immediately after we cut, she was like, 'This is so right on, I'm going to use this.' [On how intense Taylor's fans are] The world is Taylor's fans, so it is an intense platform. But when we went to the (music video) premiere, there was screaming outside and all the fans in the theater. Her security guys kept saying, 'Crazy, right?'
