If anyone can befriend Mary Ann Skuttle despite her nonchalance, It would be Gorgug, holder of the tin flower. I just want Gorgug to get her on his side, the way they did with Ragh. I want him to have an army of barbarians. Take THAT, Porter! Is that enough rage for you???

Thinking about the nightmare forest. Gorgug learning his parents being cast out because they decided to raise this baby who their family thinks will inevitably grow to know only rage. Him fearing that he will prove them right

I love that we're continuing that theme through what Porter's point is about Gorgug wielding the power of rage. Weve already seen that Gorgug is more than that. Yes he is tough and strong but he's also kind hearted and intelligent.

It's interesting to explore another side of it, which is Gorgug being all too aware as a tall half orc of how destructive it could be. He kinda does fear his rage when anger is a completely normal emotion and should not be treated as an inherently negative thing.

Rewatching Fantasy High in preparation for Junior Year. The amount of times Zac gets talked over, ignored, or holds himself back from talking is painful to watch. I never noticed on my first watch of fantasy high because i loved Gorgug.

Listening to The Meat Improv episode with Zac Oyama and Phoebe Neidhardt (his wife) and the story of how they got together is so unsurprising from how we see Zac in Dropout. Theyre so cute. It seems like Phoebe complements his very chill and funny personality very well. I can see how they fit together.

Trying not to dwell too much about the Home for Wayward Interest. The Fix still obviously having a soft spot for the wayward interests. How at some point, like i saw someone mention, those kids were probably the hyperfixations he was also guarding before they were locked away to be governed by Loathing. How The Fix still sees the potential in them, what they could become. Stating that they could be rediscovered at any moment. How The Fix is played by Hank Green, who has been literally inspiring me and many other for a long time, to be unapologetically enthusiastic and nerdy about things and to look at the world with wonder and curiousity. It's gonna make me cry and we're only one episode in.

CEOs really ruining it for everyone by not paying their writers and actors properly. I know Hank would like to share his excitement on main and promote the heck out of this D20 season to his huge following but will not be talking about it out of solidarity. People cant even promote projects they love and created because they have to strike and fight for better compensation smh

So excited for Mentopolis but i also just realized how Hank Green is such a big name now. Ive been a fan for a long time now and i know vlogbrothers is basically everywhere in the internet content creation circle but in my head theyre still in the small niche fandom section of nerds and school kids who watch Crash Course.

I also just love Hank because while it's given that he has a public persona that he maintains, at his core he truly is just a big nerd with a passion for learning and education

shout out to Zac Oyama for being the only one seemingly not rooting for Karna and Deli

While I wouldve been foaming at the mouth if they explored the romance aspect of Deli and Colin, I also dont mind that they just ended in a way that still leaves lot of space for fandom imagination.

They clearly cared about each other but by their fall out in episode 4, it was clear to they were incompatible in how they see the world.

I enjoy the tragedy of them drifting apart before they even have the opportunity to truly connect. The pain of them breaking up before they have the chance to love each other. Liking and wanting each other enough but not enough to bridge their difference, not enough to be something more.

Truly speaks to the experience a lot of us have of the unfulfilled possibility of a first queer love that will haunt you for a long time.

By the end of the war, they sought comfort and spent time with each but now had too much baggage to really proceed. It was once again not the right time for them, maybe it never will.

the ravening war finale in less than 24 hours and im being very brave about it

Gosh im having a lot of feelings now that it's finale week. No matter how some people feel about it, i really enjoyed this season. This table have been so amazing and great, no weak links. If nothing else, it was such a treat getting to see Brennan and Zac finally on the same side of the table. I know they seem to enjoy each other a lot, and i know theyre the 2 people in the cast that are the same age, but i did not expect them to have a kind of sibling dynamic.
