Man. If I had a nickel for every time Zac Oyama and Lou Wilson had to rp a breakup-coded fight between their “platonic besties” characters because Zac’s character was experiencing a hard personal internal struggle and decided to leave a group/cause that he wasn’t actually invested in and mostly just joined because Lou’s character was passionate about it and Lou’s character was canonically very charismatic and good at garnering followers/admirers but Zac’s character was one of his only true friends that he fully trusted and was loyal to and Lou’s character was really hurt when Zac’s character left, less by the actual action of leaving and more by the implication that he didn’t care about Lou’s character enough to stay I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s fucking RUDE that it’s happened twice.

lou wilson putting his whole acting pussy into the 'you lied' speech and it fascinates me how you can do so intense emotional acting, one of his best performances, while we can also actively see him holding in laughter. multifaceted KING

Yes Delissandro didn’t hesitate to attack Pamela but Lou’s eyes were wet and shining when he said “destiny has been designed.” I feel ill

Worth remembering that for the entire rest of the episode, while Colins saying things like “no secret is worth this” hes covered in viscera from the explosion. He’s the only one to come out of the fight with the (literal) blood of queen Pamela on his hands- despite deli and raphaniel being the ones to kill her. So when Deli asks what he means when Colin says he doesn’t trust their group being in the cave, Colin is STILL drenched in blood when he says “I think you know what I mean”

i would’ve liked to color it/shade it properly but i literally don’t have any time for the foreseeable future (which is killing me because the new d20 season looks so good) so i wanted to get this out now

i like to think they all keep some sort of (tenuous) contact. that’s all. oh and the flowers in the final panel are carolina reaper and radish flowers 🌸

episode 5 of the ravening war is actually so funny because karna is looking at deli with heart eyes, deli is looking at colin with heart eyes, and colin is looking at raphaniel with exasperation as the weird little radish priest tries to fuck a wet biscuit and crawls up the walls like he’s in the exorcist. love wins.
