Children In The Entertainment Industry

Hi. I know it's been a while but get over it.

As I'm sure many of us are aware through the current scandals involving children in the entertainment industry especially; family vlog channels, the disney channel scandal, and the many other stories coming out, it is not a safe world or industry.

What I want to address is something I've been seeing on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms about one young actor in particular. The first season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians came out last year and as a lover of the books, they did an amazing job bringing it to life. However, I've been seeing more and more posts about the actor who played Percy Jackson, Walker Scobell and many of them are not appropriate. This kid is barely fifteen years old and grown adults are making posts about his attractiveness, charisma, ect. What truly set me off enough to want to speak about it was a fuck, marry, kill post in which he was one of the three. This post was made by an adult and it's disgusting and pedophilic. This child is fifteen years old and should absolutely NOT be looked at in this way by any adult. No child should be looked at this way by any adult. The other thing that's getting me is that there is no backlash in the comments of these videos and posts about posting this inappropriate content about this kid. In fact many people were actually participating. So my question is what the fuck is wrong with people? You would think with all the scandals right now this would actually be addressed.

I understand that we are in an age of acceptance, but you have to be able to have the common sense and decency to draw the line somewhere.

Children under no circumstances should be sexualized. If you do, you need to get help and correct yourself, because there is no world in which this is acceptable.

I hate men

Ok, so I feel like everyone at some point in time goes through a really strong “I hate men” mind thingy. I’m bringing this up because I’ve always been “ew” at the thought of men right, they’re gross. But now, I really hate men. I don’t know if its just because I haven’t had a good experience as of late or in the past year I’ve gotten really comfortable with my sexuality, maybe both. But seriously, for example I was walking down the street today right and some little man bitch catcalled me. Normally, I just ignore it because at this point society has brainwashed people to be “the bigger person and just ignore it” which is absolute bullshit. Like come on I’m the one who just “nice ass” yelled at them and you want me to be the bigger person?!?! Anyway, back to the point, this bitch catcalled me and instead of ignoring it, I told him to respectfully fuck off, then. this cunt had the audacity to tell me to be more ladylike. EXCUSE ME. Afterwards, out of pure spite and it was the first thing that popped in my head, I barked at him. It worked. 

Second example of shitty things that men did to me this week, is a “friend” of mine asked me and my girlfriend if we would have a threesome with him. Now, I understand some people may be like well it was an honest question, but to that I say he’s been pressuring me to sleep with him for over a year now which I have repeatedly said No to. And I’m ok with someone asking me once, but not repeatedly even after I said no. And for the love of god, stop asking me for nudes. I’m a fucking human being not someones personal sex experiment. Stop harassing my ass and leave me the fuck alone. 

So moral of the story, this week I hate men.

I feel this gives very much a Sleeping Beauty feel, but more like the darker more realistic version. All and all very beautiful in an eerie Grimm brothers sort of way.
