Casa Batlló, here I am at one of the doors in the lobby of the stairs, which within the naturalistic vision of Gaudí is inspired by the marine environment. Hatshepsut, the eldest daughter of Pharaoh Tuthmosis I, assumed the role of queen regent during the 18th dynasty after the death of her husband, Tuthmosis II. Colossi of Memnon, represents The Pharaoh Amenhotep III. The colossi were built to be the guardians of the Pharaoh's funerary temple, a temple destroyed by the floods of the Nile. Curiosities: • The name Memnon were named after a Greek hero of the Trojan War in Greek mythology • After a rift was opened in the northern colossus, the statue sang every morning.
