Spread over two floors with colourful, artsy décor, and great ambiance, Juggernaut is a feast for eyes.It offers an elaborate menu including great authentic dosas all as good as next. Particularly their chettinad dosa, rawa dosa and paneer dosa are amazing. The place is pocket friendly and definitely a must visit.
Carnatic café, New Friends Colony
Another authentic south Indian restaurant located at The India Mall, in New Friends Colony, Carnatic café is a favourite among the south Indian food lovers. Along with the usual classic dosa flavours, the place also offers special in-house special experimental flavours of dosas. Their Ghee roast dosa, Malleshwaram 18th cross dosa in particular are must try.
M Dosa Express, Jail Road
A hidden gem, situated near tilak Nagar gurudwara, M Dosa Express offers 131 varieties of dosas, including the classics and different fusions of flavours like Italian and Chinese. Though there is seating available, the chances of getting seated immediately are quite slim. There is almost always a waiting of 15-20 minutes but for food like Golmal dosa, cheese dosa, pav bhaji dosa and more, it’s worth the wait.

About Pav Bhaji  - Mumbai Street Snack Recipe
This is another snack in my list that I can never think of missing while visiting Mumbai. It is found in every street corner food stalls and restaurants. Just the mention of Pav Bhaji reminds me of this yummy street food snack that has become almost a hot favourite with everyone.
How to make Pav Bhaji  - Mumbai Street Snack
Pressure cook the veggies in 1 cup water for 3-4 whistles. Heat oil in pan and saute the onion till light brown.
Add the ginger-garlic paste, tomato paste and all the dry spices mixed with some water to form a paste. Saute till the oil separates.
Now add the tomatoes and fry on a low flame till well mashed. Add the boiled veggies and continue to simmer on low flame, simultaneously mashing it with a masher. When almost done, add a tsp. of butter and give it a mix.
Heat another tsp. of butter on a tawa / griddle and toast the pav halves on both sides. Serve the pav bhaji with a dollop of butter on top of it along with the toasted  pavs, chopped onion, green chilies and lime wedges.

How to make Mumbai style Pav Bhaji.

How to make Mumbai style Pav Bhaji
 Boil water in a vessel, add salt and cauliflower. Let it be for 5-10 mins at low flame.
 Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, saute onions and ginger garlic paste till brown.  
 Then add capsicum and let it cook for few seconds.
 Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt to taste. Saute.
 Add  tomato puree, boiled potatoes, and cauliflower. Add the stock in which you boiled the vegetables.
 Mash the bhajji as much as you can. (or blend with a potato masher)
 Garnish with coriander leaves, butter,lemon wedges and onion rings.
 Serve hot with pav buns, green chutney and sliced onions/tomato/cucumber.

About Pav bhaji Recipe
Pav  bhaji is nothing but a mish mash of vegetables that is simmered in  onion and tomato sauce and spiked with a wide variety of spices.

How to make Pav bhaji
 For the bhaji
 Heat  butter in a thick bottomed pan and add the chopped onion. Once it turns  transcluscent, add the ginger-garlic paste and fry till the raw smell  goes.
 Add the potatoes, carrots, beans and peas and fry till they are tender.
 Stir in the Cauliflower florets, chopped bell pepper, salt, sugar, turmeric and paprika powder and sauté for 3-4mins more.
 Add  the chopped tomato and tomato puree, mix well, add two and a half cups  of water and cook covered till the vegetables are completely cooked.
 Mash the mixture with potato masher. Add the pac bhaji masala and black salt and mash some more.
 Allow  the bhaji to simmer for five more mins. If you feel the mixture is  thick then add half cup of water and allow the mixture to cook for two  mins more.
 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with toasted Pav
 For the Pav:
 Slit the Pavs vertically and spread butter generously on the insides of the bread.
 Place the pav buttered side down on a pre heated skillet and toast till brown and crisp.
 Turn the pac and toast on the other side as well. Use more butter if required.
 To serve
 Place a cup of bhaji, two toasted Pavs, chopped onions and lemon wedges on a plate.
 Top the bhaji with extra butter and pav bhaji masala if required and garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
