GRIM'S IDOL DEBUT

NRC IDOL EVENT by @ximdraws

"Where is the Great Grim's lovely tuna, my devoted hench-people? MYAHAHA!"

[His voiceline just clicked in my head/silly. Grim is doing this for his tuna. I participated because I love pretty rhythm, utapri, vocaloid and other idol animes. in this fan event for Grim so that I can see him in a floofy cute dress] I CALL HIM GRIM HOSHINO

Idol Clothes Inspiration: I want him to have that star eyes so Ai Hoshino plays the big role of inspiration for his lovely dress.

This song will be Grim's idol song and dance on stage:

[ALL FOR TUNA]

Part 1:

When the Heartshackle squad heard there'd be an Idol Festival, excitement filled their heads especially Ace and Deuce. Finally, a chance to be famous again. They already have experience to perform on stage thanks to the VDC so their confidence flew to the roof.

However, upon seeing there'd be no grand prize for such an event and just doing it for fun, their motivation has vanished. They weren't angry there's none The four of them are sitting together in the bench, Ace slouched and upset, letting out a deep sigh while the other three just didn't mind.

"Aww! Such a cute kitty!" A girl who gushed with her friends giggled as they passed by the group of friends. They all followed them with their gaze and remembered, because of this event, there'd be other people outside Night Raven.

Another group of strangers passes by and saying the same compliment whenever they looked at Grim.

"Such a cute kitty!" "I've never seen a cat that cute, do you think that adorable thing will sing?" "I saw him talk when the VDC took place here."

Grim scoffed. "I ain't a cat, why are they all saying I'm one!" Grim complained crossing his arms.

The three students looked down at their cat-like friend and exchanged looks at the same time before their gaze turned back to Grim.

"Grim, be an idol." Ace simply said with a serious look.

Grim stared at Ace blankly. "WHAT!?"

"We'll give you one whole pile of stinking tuna if you do!"

Part 2:

"MYAAHH!!"

Grim is now being dressed by Yuu, Ace and Deuce. They're dressing him up in a purple dress with fish patterns that they bought from Sam via express delivery and Deuce suggested the belt with the chains will be bring the flair of coolness to contrast the cuteness.

"Why do I have to sing? ALONE?" Grim complained as Yuu is brushing his fur. "What do I get out of this?"

"You didn't perform during the VDC, right?" Ace asked. "Well this is your chance, oh great Grim! Besides, all eyes will be on you when you're out there alone?"

Grim stared and a wide grin appeared on his face. "If you say it that way, then yeah I'll do it but I want my tuna!"

Ace sneered. "We'll give you each one tuna."

"Only three?!"

"The fans will give you more." Ace answered quickly and put his arm around Grim. "Just say, Everyone, show your love by tuna! RIGHT?"

Grim couldn't help but chuckle at Ace.

"Uhh...what should Grim sing?" Deuce asked.

"Uhh..I don't know, about tuna?" Ace shrugged.

There was silence as Yuu and Deuce stared at Ace as the staff person approached them telling it's Grim's cue to perform

"Just pour your heart and thoughts about tuna, alright?" Ace encouraged and pushed Grim for good luck. "We'll watch you from the crowd on the front!"

"YEAHH! TUNAA!" Grim shouted in excitement.

"TUNAAA!!!" Ace shouted along.

As Grim goes to the stage and the three friends goes to the crowd with glowsticks in hand, Yuu patted Ace on the shoulder.

"Hey, why're we doing this again?" Yuu asked.

Ace sneered. "If a pet like Grim turned out to be famous, then their owner will be slightly famous too."

Deuce crossed his brows. "Grim is not a pet."

"He's a cat and cats are pet." Ace corrected.

"Oh, then I'm famous..." Yuu said.

"Yuu," Ace began. "The three of us holds custody of Grim." he corrected pointing all three of them

Yuu squinted at Ace, glaring at him with one brow raised in confusion.

"Okay." Yuu said rolling their eyes.

every time someone writes vil schoenheit as someone mean, rather than someone who has the capacity to come off as mean, an angel loses their wings. i've always understood vil as someone who can come off as mean, rather than someone whose meanness is intrinsic to his character. he is strict and disciplined, and this does make him quite intimidating, however he does not go out of his way to hurt people's feelings. his comments are sharp, but they don't come with the goal of hurting someone.

it also hurts to see him depicted as someone who doesn't care, when he is the way he is because he cares so much. vil has nothing to gain from being a bully. it does not make him any better, any more beautiful, and furthermore, he wants to distance himself from the villain type cast he's stuck in. i've always believed he overblotted because of how devastating it was to realize that he was acting villainous, something he has been desperately trying to detach himself from. anyways, vil, habibi, get behind me.

You Want Me to do What Now?

-a fic for @ximdraws NRC Idol Fest event!-

Summary: when the Ramshackle prefect opened the door that morning, they weren’t expecting a personal invite for…an idol fest?!

a/n: Clara Morgenstern is @ximdraws oc. although G doesn’t sing in this fic, they would participate with songs from k-bands like Xdinary Heroes or j-bands like One Ok Rock. something that gets the crowd pumping.

When G opened the door, they did not expect one of the exchange students to be standing on Ramshackle’s front porch.

“May I help you?” They asked, blinking sleep away as they cradled a still sleeping Grim.

Crap, which student is this? She’s apart of the Pop Music Club…

“Are you the Ramshackle prefect, G Anchor?” The student asked, long ponytail swaying.

G nodded, “That’s me. Is everything alright Ms…?”

The student smiled in return. “Clara Morgenstern, I’m an exchange student from Crowned Jewel Academy. I believe we met at the exchange student sorting?”

Ah, now I remember. G thought. Crowley had dipped out not even halfway through, leaving them to greet and get the exchange students organized for the mirror. “It’s lovely to see you again, but is everything alright? After all, it is,” they glanced at the clock, “seven in the morning on a weekend. Are you or one of the other exchange students having problems?”

Clara shook her head apologetically, “I apologize for calling so early, but everyone and everything is alright. I actually had a question.”

G leaned on the doorway as she spoke, carefully shifting Grim in their arms. “Fire away. I’ll see what I can do to help.” They replied, curiosity peaked.

Clara smiled. “Well, as you may have heard, I am organizing a music event-an idol one, to be precise.”

Oh, the idol event Cater was talking about. G recalled him talking about it one day while walking together after club meetings. “I see, so it’s being organized by you? That’s impressive.”

“Thank you! It’s actually been a lot of fun,” Clara said, “But I’ve ran into a bit of a problem.”

G nodded in acknowledgement, gears turning. Probably has something to do with Crowley…of course the birdbrain couldn’t even help out an exchange student.

“What’s the problem?” The prefect asked, “I could probably help out.”

“I want to sing on the stage as an idol of sorts,” Clara explained, “It’s just…I don’t want to sing alone.”

That G could get. They nodded once more in sympathy. “Stage fright is no joke,” They agreed. Dear lord, please let that actually sound comforting. “But how can I help exactly?”

“Ah, yes! I don’t wish to perform alone, which is why I’m making it an event that anyone can join,” Clara said, “And my friends in Pop Music Club are helping me. Are you familiar with Cater Diamond?”

“Oh no, what did he do this time?” G said half jokingly, knowing what the influencer could do.

Clara laughed at that, shaking her head, purple ponytail swishing with the motion. “Oh trust me, he actually helped me out! You see, he told me that a friend of his was really good at singing and showed me a clip to prove it.” She explained.

G froze at that. Oh shit.

“I see…and I take it that the clip was of me?” They asked.

“Yes,” Clara confirmed, “and that’s what inspired me to walk on over in the first place. To ask if you could perform at the event.”

G nearly dropped Grim in surprise. They knew exactly which clip she was talking about. Cater had taken them to a recently opened karaoke place under the premise of treating them to slushees afterward. G, bribed by the slushees, went along and by the end of the night had actually sang a few songs. Cater had recorded them and, with the promise that he wouldn’t upload the clips to his Magicam, G simply forgot about the whole thing. Especially when they got their slushee afterward.

They quickly pulled themselves together. “Me?” They asked incredulously.

Clara titled her head in confusion, “Of course! Why-are you busy?” She asked.

G shook their head, “Oh no, not because of that. It’s just…,” might as well be blunt, “I’m not idol material.”

Noting the still confused look on Clara’s face, they continued. “Well, my appearance doesn’t exactly scream ‘idol’, ” with their free hand, G gestured to their dual-dyed hair and piercings, “not to mention my voice. You said Cater showed you those clips of me?”

Clara nodded, following along. “Yes, he did. And I must say, your voice is incredible!”, she exclaimed enthusiastically, “It was so powerful and moving! I really felt the emotion.”

G could feel the red creeping onto their cheeks at the praise. “Thank you for the compliments but, uh,” they cleared their throat, “my voice is not exactly fit for the idol genre. The songs I was singing were more of the rock genre…”

Clara nodded, “I see. May I be blunt real quick?”

“Go ahead.”

“You see, I’m organizing this event not just so I can sing, but also so that people can also share their own musical talents,” Clara explained, “that being said-I really do not mind if your singing sounds different from what may be expected. In fact, I think it’d be cool!” She smiled at the prefect.

“Huh,” G paused, surprised, “I never thought of that. You sure it’d be alright?”

Clara nodded. “Definitely. After all, I am the one organizing it.”

G chuckled at her enthusiasm. “Alright, I’ll do it. Just keep me updated.”

Clara clapped her hands in joy, “Ahhh! Thank you so much!” She exclaimed, “It’s going to be so much fun-just wait!” And with that promise, the student went on her way with one final wave. G returned it, before heading inside.

“Mmrah? What’s goin’ on?” Grim asked, half asleep.

G shook their head, gently stroking his fur. “Not much. Are you hungry?” They asked the dire beast.

“Is that even a question?” Grim responded, now fully awake, “I’m always hungry!”

G chuckled at the response. “Alright, let’s see what I can cook up.”

Twisted Wonderland - NRC Idol Fest!

Concept:

After leaving her songbook in the Music Club’s room one day, Clara shared her wish to perform with the others. Not just in the club way or as a classical musician, as she had done in the past. Instead, she wanted to perform as an idol! Hearing that, the others decided to work to make that happen!

However, performing solo made her nervous. She hadn’t performed her idol music alone before, despite all her practice. So, she decided to make it an event that can include the whole campus! Anyone, of any skill level, is invited to become an idol for the day at the NRC Idol Fest!

Rules:

Anyone is welcome to join! OCs, Canon Characters, All of that!

All art forms are welcome! Write fics, Draw, make cards, however you feel comfortable! My only exception is AI generated images. Those are not welcome!

Please be respectful of other people’s ocs! This includes OC x Canon if brought up!

Generally, the idols in this event are more jpop inspired! Below is a moodboard of some outfit ideas, but a good inspo for feminine style idol outfits is the Love Live! Franchise if that would help at all! I also have a playlist, to give you an idea of the music I had in mind!
