This is really just a place for me to release any and all stresses I have about my cravings and urges, otherkin or otherwise. This is also a safe place for my fellow otherkins who don't feel comfortable with being public about it or don't know how to deal with it. NSFW content, so littles ones beware.

I don’t remember who the artist is, but if you do, please tag them and thank them for such beautiful pieces of art. These are amazing and I hope that they continue working on pieces like these because I just... Wow.

I honestly forgot I had this blog, but I’m back!!! I finally remembered how to get into this one, so I hope I’ll be able to post more often.

This, in my opinion, is how an otherkin should see his or her kinself. Something that protects you and helps you be yourself. Don’t hide from it, let it take care of you and help you become who you need to be.

A spell jar meant to aid in the protection and safety of your pet, with the addition of strength and healing.
Ingredients:
Small Jar
A taglock for your pet (I used a rabbit dropping)
Basil (protection)
Garlic Salt (protection)
Lemon Verbena (protection, healing)
Lavender (protection, healing)
Rosemary (healing)
Cinnamon (strength, healing)
Gold Glitter (Solar energy, healing)
Symbol of Saturn (protection, safety)
Tangerine Oil (protection, strength)
Lavender Oil (protection, healing)
White Candle anointed with Tangerine and Lavender oil (protection, strength, healing)
Instructions:
Draw the symbol of Saturn on a small piece of paper - small enough to add to the jar
Anoint the white candle with Tangerine and Lavender oil
Light the candle
Add the taglock, herbs, and glitter to the small jar while focusing on your intent
Holding the symbol of Saturn in your hand, ask for the protection and safety of your pet
Add the symbol to the jar
Add 3 drops of each oil on top of the symbol of Saturn for a total of 6 drops
Place the lid on the jar (mine was a cork)
Carefully take the candle while still lit and drip wax over the top of the jar to seal it
Snuff out the candle
Store the jar somewhere safe

Conversation
Lily: I keep getting this recurring dream that I'm in a restaurant and I have to go to the loo but I take a wrong turn and walk into the kitchen where an Italian chef is talking and gesticulating and the knife he's holding stabs me in the baby.
James:
Lily: Y'know, because Italian people talk with their hands.

Remus: There's only one solution. Someone has to go to Dumbledore and talk to him.
Sirius: I vote we all look at James at the same time.

Go on a hike.
Draw your kintype(s).
Climb a tree.
Build a fort with pillows and blakets.

Wear tails, ears, or whatever suits your fancy! (But remember it’s the mind that makes one kin, not the body!)
Find a scented candle that reminds you of home!
Go for a run, being active is always good!
Fill your room with pictures of your kintype(s) environment!

being otherkin can help you cope but it’s not a coping mechanism (in fact, it’s sometimes very hard to deal with). coping mechanisms are things a person adopts to help them cope, be they good or bad; as otherkin is something you can’t choose to become, it’s not a coping mechanism.

Why wouldn’t they be? Other(or any)kin memories are just as much of a part of you as your childhood memories.
reblog if you think otherkin/fictionkin and kin memories are real and valid!
i need to prove something!
i keep being told my memories are fake, so i wanted to see how many people think they’re real.
