i feel like the tumblr community for alterhuman has become a lot more “domesticated” or domestic-animals focused. don’t get me wrong, i relate to some of these thing but to me the main appeal of being an animal is being free! tags like #alterhuman are becoming increasingly filled with “im so puppy” memes instead of serious conversations which is why i came to tumblr in the first place!

i don’t want to flee from spaces that i have always and should always belong to. i understand where op is coming from, but i don’t think fleeing will do us any good. you can create your own terms and do what makes you feel safe, and i will not judge you for it, but i will still stay in my rightful place in the community.

This is a message addressed to all entities/animals/creatures that consider themselves Totally/PhysicallyBiologically Nonhuman or other "taboo" labels according to the Alterhuman Community.

I have witnessed some ridiculous debates regarding the inclusion or non-inclusion of Physically Nonhuman entities/animals/creatures and I would like to put an end to it.

Instead of trying to negotiate with a closed-minded community, we might as well create our own.

I've noticed posts proposing new terms and definitions and this is a really brilliant idea.

So instead of lingering, let's create our own path, our own terms, our own definitions. Let's create a community of our own and get away from oppressive, closed communities like the Alterhuman community.

Whether you're Physically or Biologically Nonhuman or whatever, let's join forces and create a paradise for every creature here.

Feel free to share your labels/definitions, create groups, spread the word. Let's stop being pushed around and fight for our place in the world.

You are not alone. Let's listen to each other and stand up to unfounded criticism and humiliation.

I would brush it every day, find ways of sitting that don't squish it, be careful of closing doors behind me, hold it close to me in crowded spaces, etc, I wouldn't care if it was "inconvenient", I would love it
