With a quiet day and no wars to go off to, there was someone Peter had been meaning to visit for a short while now. He didn’t mean to let his friendships fall to the wayside; saving the world was just a little bit more important than catching up with a cup of coffee, at least for right now. He was sure it could be understood, if only for a brief while until patience wore thin. They were all human, on some level. There was only so much neglect someone could take before enough was enough.

They’d met that point more times than he could count, he and MJ. He was grateful she still wanted to be in his circle. Peter figured he’d show his appreciation by hand delivering a small brown paper bag - in it sat a couple of pastries from the little shop a block down that absolutely refuse to close. With feet planted firmly to the side of the building, Peter knocked gently against one of the apartment windows to grab MJ’s attention.
