Put 4 but it's hard to place on this scale..

I can't visualize very well but it tends to vary and when I dream I'm pretty sure there's colour but hard to remember. Though that's definitely when images are most clear and I rarely reproduce that when I'm awake.

Drawing characters from books is super hard. I have no image of what they look like and will spend so much time tracking down descriptions online to reference.

Doing something original is a bit easier since I'll have a feeling of what I want to do. But it's usually one small part of the image I would want and I can't focus on it and anything else in the image at the same time to see what they look like together.

pls reply how much you feel your visualization impacts you, i am very interested to hear from 4s and 5s

I've been wanting to get back into traditional art for ages. Finally decided to follow some tutorials to help me get back into it. Was so happy I ended up doing 2 paintings!

First was following a video by Joony Art (Sunset Lake) and the second by ColorByFeliks (Autumn Landscape)

Thought I'd post some of my favourite Inktober drawings so far. A lot are half finished due to being too tired.

I've gone for a bird-plant-bird rotation of drawings. All native to Aotearoa New Zealand.

what’s your clothing colour palette?

Sorry I have no idea how long this has been in my asks, I didn't seem to get a notification it was there until I happened to look.

I own a lot of blues and blacks but I'm trying to get more of other colours like red and green.

But I really don't know anything about styling, t-shirts and jeans will work just fine for me.

Well here is my attempt at Shallan's wedding dress.

If anyone wanted to read them my thoughts on why I came up with this design are below:

For the embroidery I tried to think of designs that would be accurate. So the panels on the skirt have joy, glory and laughter spren. Figured they would work with the occasion plus with her being radiant it has more meaning. For the sleeves I added vines alone the sides since Jah Keved is described as being known for being covered in vines and I wanted something to represent her nationality. I also added a pattern on the 'vest' to look like Pattern since I thought the makers of the dress might take inspiration from him also.

Speaking of the vest it really stumped me on what it would look like. All I had to go on was: "a golden vest draped over the shoulders". I tried to see if there was something from real life he used as inspiration but didn't have time to do much research. So that's what I ended up going with. I think it looks nice.

Doing the hair was tiring enough I didn't put much effort into the headdress I'll admit.

Day 7 Towntober: Park

Did a redraw of a photo I took in Hagley Park Christchurch while visiting a friend. Birds are two paradise ducks (Pūtangitangi) with their chicks. They're endemic to New Zealand.

Day 6: Miscreant -Wayne

While it isn't the 6th here anymore it is still the 6th elsewhere.. plus I didn't want to miss this day.

Chose a beanie since we had a big dump of snow here in New Zealand yesterday which is really unusual this time of year. Especially after our warmest winter on record!

Day 3: Glass

Okay had a super busy weekend but I'm finally starting cosmere inktober. Decided to challenge myself with drawing a jar filled with spheres.
