Drew a bunch of art for the Yuumori RP I'm in lately, here's the pencil lineart scans. This includes some of my adapted character Lupin's supporting cast, then several sketches of him and William, and then also a drawing of Mycroft (as seen by Lupin, making coffee at the director home.)

I'd like to say the last William sketch was drawn by Lupin in-universe too, and possibly some of the others. x3 Will probably edit this post to update as I color some of these.

Editing to add a few new sketches from today as well. First off are Fred and Miss Hudson in some non-traditional outfits they tailored for each other in the RP (cutest friendship. 💛)

Then we have two ladies, Vesper (possibly when she's happier after help from MI6?) and then a woman from Lupin's past, Countess Alessandra Cagliostro.

UPDATE: Drawing clothes isn’t my strong suit, Victorian clothes less so, but had some fun sketching the OCs and their outfits.

Thanks to all who supported me along the way! It's rare that I finish a larger or longer term project like this, but I had so much fun drawing these beloved characters and sharing them with other fans and that's truly made it all worth it. ❤️

Will I shade/render these beyond flat colors someday? xD Maybe, but that's another topic... lol.

Updated my grid post with links to the full portraits in my floral JR series so far! 💐🌻 (Plus a bonus link for some other JR portraits I did, even if they're not part of this specific fanart series.)

Also as a bonus here, I'm dropping a version of the grid with Henry's and Joachim's alternative hair colors I tried out.

Jeweler Richard portrait grid update! (Contains some characters from Volume 10, may be considered spoilery, also a name from volume 11.)

Just added in my flat color versions of Earl Henry and Octavia to this ongoing grid, and there's many blondes. xD The bonus Richard pictures probably don't help that ratio either lol. But I'm enjoying seeing the progress of this! It's been so fun drawing so many beloved characters from JR and I hope to possibly add more bonus ones later on (like Chieko, Hiromi and Mr. Nakata, etc.)

The last character left on this planned list is a character I'll draw to celebrate their introduction in the Volume 11 English release. Stay tuned for that next portrait. ❤️

Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl! The OG thread from when I made these a year ago were lost with the hacking of my original Twitter account (@/bagels_donuts) but I’ve since reuploaded the whole thread to my new Twitter (@/ItsDonutsFR)! I hope artists on tumblr find these useful, sorry it took me so long to post them here😭🙏🏾 I’ll upload them all in parts!

Part 1: Long masc hairstyles + playing with fades

A fun cutesy fanart of my Jeweler Richard-themed Stardew Valley co-op farm I play with my friend @prapo237, with chibi versions of our Etra boys and most of their farm animals and pets. (They've got a couple more cows, chickens and ducks so far lol.)

Seigi loves to fish and Richard has pretty much bought/found every animal available for them to take care of on Etranger Farm, including a dinosaur they named after Vince. x3 No ostriches yet, but we're still working on repairing the boat for Ginger Island.

I'll probably add some soft colors to this sometime later and will update the post when I do. :3

Felt like coloring something lower effort today, so I found these cute animal chibis I drew 2 years ago and just added some simple colors to these. 🩵

Did not realize before how much lighter Henry's hair is described in the books versus some official art from the LN artist, so I went ahead and lightened it up a good deal in my previous portrait of him (that had been more based on his anime appearance) and added more grays.

Flat colors for two of the musical characters in JR, Haruyoshi Shimomura and Henry Claremont. I referenced Haruyoshi's manga design for this portrait. We learned more about these two and their musical collaborations in volume 8 and I loved reading about their friendship, so it made me want to include them in this portrait series. Love these boys!

Haruyoshi is featured with his flamenco guitar, along with marigolds to represent warmth, creativity and passion. Henry is at his piano, along with violets to represent strength, inspiration, leadership, royalty/nobility and humility.

Some more water soluble pastel warm-up doodles from my sketchbook: ramen bowls, dumplings, tropical fruit, veggies, skateboard designs (was rewatching Sk8 lol) and some practice at gemstones.

UPDATE: Adding a couple more, a page of some of my favorite desserts, and then a rough first attempt at sketching the Senso-ji Temple based on a photo I took there last year (the perspective could use a lot more work on my part. XD)

Little chibi birb profile pic I drew for myself, I call her Jay.💙

She's buddies with my friend's character Prapo (belonging to @prapo237) and helps clean seeds, twigs, leaves, etc. from his horns and such, like an Egyptian plover bird with a crocodile. ^_^

A bit of a small delay, but I got around to doing flat colors for Patterson and Von Herder. 💙

Here's the next four Yuumori sketches in my fanart series!

They'll have their own pages when I color these, but please enjoy: Lestrade, Helena, Paterson (I keep forgetting that's officially spelled with just one T) and Von Herder.

Paterson and Helena's hair both gave me some challenges but I'm pleased with these first drawings for them. I see Paterson as having more East Asian features so went a bit more in that direction for him. (Also I forgot to sketch the smoke from his cigarette, so uh enjoy my hasty computer mouse doodles for that in this draft.)

Von Herder I feel like resembles Liam a lot? x3 Liam if he lost both eyes? 😭 and had a German accent lol.

Meanwhile I'm a simp for Yuumori's version of Lestrade and that strong jaw. ❤️
