hey not to sound bleak or anything but

if ur not gonna have kids what’s the point in living past 30? what am i gonna do for the next 70 yrs? work a menial job i hate while struggling to maintain the few relationships I made in my earlier years as they move on with their families? try to find happiness in the small things and life only to realize that the happiness will be gone the second I return to reality? travel? alone? with the small amount of money i’ve made? to pretend i’m not envious of others who live a different life, any kind of different life? humans as a species are programmed to reproduce but let’s face it by the time i’m at the normal age one would have kids at, the planet is going to be overrun. overpopulation is already a massive problem. not to mention climate change is going to make everything hell? it’s estimated by 2050 that all species in the ocean will be gone. we’ll run out of space and not to mention food. bees will die out and plants will stop growing, we’ll eat all the animals we’ve already put through inhumane conditions until they are none left. temperatures will rise, ice caps will melt, flooding low lying populated areas like new york and florida and the netherlands. food and water shortages will be at an all time low. the people will revolt and either overthrow the government causing complete anarchy or die trying. meanwhile society is screaming at the billion dollar companies to stop playing who has the highest carbon emissions while they can’t hear us through their bullet proof glass windows. the one percent will escape to mars, thinking they’ve got away, leaving everyone else to die on the burning planet. i doubt they’ll make it 50 years. the earth will purge humans from it’s skin. we are only an infestation, a virus, and the earth is creating a fever to burn us out. so, no, i’m not planning to have kids. why would i ever put them through that kind of hell? i’ll live as fully and as recklessly as i can till ww3 and then im gone, just like everyone else will be in the next 100 years.

it keeps me alive. i swear it’s what keeps me sane most days. i heard or read somewhere that some people have a stronger emotional connection to music than they do to most people, and honestly, i believe it.
