I feel like a lot of people don’t really fully grasp the idea that abusive parents exist and are both common and, to a degree, socially acceptable.
Like, they may be aware of the fact but have not yet actually integrated it into their worldview, personal beliefs, or policy proposals.
#tbh ppl who didn't experience an abusive childhood are just fully incapable of conceptualizing what thats like beyond the abstract#which is. generally a good thing; i certainly wouldn't ever wish my childhood on another person#but it does kinda create this sense of utter alienation#considering how frequently society just assumes that parents have their childrens' best interest in mind

can we please stop hatred within the queer community please? It's us TOGETHER that's the whole point. Stop being transphobic in the name of 'gay rights' (just because someone else is breathing doesn't mean you're suffocating there's plenty of air to go round) , and yes xenogenders are valid. I don't know about every identity in the queer community but I still respect and support them 101%. Let's just not be hateful. Don't be like the people who were so cruel to us.
