Question: Will the zine be 18+?

Answer: This zine will be 15+

Question: Will this zine be digital only? I'm interested regardless, but I'd love to work on/support/ buy a physical zine if responsible finance and shipping mods are available!

Answer: This zine is digital only! When mod applications go out, and people with experience on physical zines are able to turn this into a physical and digital zine project, I will see if we can do so! However, for now, expect this to be a fully digital zine!

Question: Is there a general theme, direction, or scope, outside of focusing on the ship? Canon-adjacent, happy ending, leaning into the "best friends" aspect as the title implies? Or would AUs be included? Darker fic as mentioned above? More "adult" style but safe-for-work? Fantasy/fairytale-esque? What vibes are you hoping for?

Answer: The title of this zine is based off of a song title, however AU’s are encouraged! Regardless of what you want to create, we will be behind you 100%!! So long as the piece follows the fact that they are best friends, please feel free to submit whatever you’d like! i chose the theme “best friend” so that creators in this zine will be able to have the freedom to imagine and create whatever they’d like with very little restraint!!

Question: By sfw, is that to exclude sexual stuff only, or is gore/horror/violence themes also excluded? Is the standard "what is shown in the game" or is it lighter than that? Because there are topics in the game dealing with sex and with other questionable topics. (would a vampire au that doesn't explicitly involve sexual activities but does deal in d/s or kink topics, or act as an analogy toward sex, or could involve blood and gore, etc would that be allowed? Would metaverse body horror be allowed? Organs and guts and dealing with death?)

Answer: Any implications towards sexual content, due to the age range of this zine, is discouraged. Gore and blood could theoretically be doable, so long as we as a mod team separate it and tag it appropriately for our supporters so that those unwilling to see it will not have to.

Question: What is the mod(s, in case of future additions) prior zine experience?

Answer: As of now the lead (only) mod has had one zine experience as a mod and two zine experiences as a creator.

Question: For profit, for free, or for charity? Split between profit and charity? Digital only or physical?

Answer: This zine is a non-profit free digital zine! the lead mod only has experience with these types of zines, so they believe this would be easiest.

Question: Does this zine have an anti-harassment stance for its creators regarding content they may write outside the zine?

Answer: I will not condone bullying/harassment for creators of my zine. however, due to the nature of the zine and the age range, dark content is discouraged. lead mod is not a dead dove content account and finds discomfort in lots of the topics it follows, but will not harass you for any works you may have. i hope this answers your question!

Question: For writers—would you prefer experience writing pegoryu/having works out of them? (I’m a writer who’s bad at polishing/finishing works and I don’t have any pegoryu fics out, I want to write one for this zine though :3)

Answer: You don’t have to have any pegoryu works published. We will be looking more-so at the style of the works, not the media of the work itself. For example, if you submit a really good piece of a different ship, we would look at how you write, not the ship or media that you wrote. You do not have to have written or published pegoryu fics, though! It will not affect your application (same goes for artists) Hope this makes sense!

Answer: Yes! This will be a completely sfw zine, so I believe that so long as you are at least 15 years old, you will most definitely be allowed to participate
