I recently commissioned @gemishrooms, who brought my idea to life so wonderfully! Here are two versions, as I love them both so much.
I knew I wanted the piece to focus on Wakaba, as she is one of my favourite RGU characters. I’ve always been particularly struck by the themes of being “special” and “shining” that appear in her Black Rose Arc episodes. So the idea was to have her holding a light that illuminates her face, she’s happy to finally grasp it. But in the background is a hand (not specific to any character) to cut the chord.
