Moments ago she was speaking to the last person she thought of, Winter, to pass on the Maiden powers. Moments before that, she — well. Then how did she end up back here...?

Penny slowly sat up. Her hand gently brushing the soft green grass, it was nice to the touch. Then, looking up to Ambrosius, she blinks, just as puzzled to see him. "Oh! Salutations… again?”

His question weighed like a heavy weight on the former android’s chest. Or perhaps that comes with feeling. Her eyes closed and she let out a sigh, everything happened so quickly. Like how in the span of hours, it felt like days or weeks had flown by.

“Yes. I did.” She said matter-of-factly, placing her hand over front, over her wounds - were they still there?

And then she sadly smiled.

“At least, I got to save my friends.”

Someone said a joke and now Penny & Pyrrha and Ozpin & Ironwood are in a jolly mood. Bygones now bygones Penny & Ironwood’s reunion is so wholesome (congrats Ironwood you have a daughter now!). Oz & Ironwood chatting, Pyrrha doing Penny‘s nails and talking about cute boys, maybe even stress-baking group activities.

like all these characters did a lot and suffered a lot so can’t they just chill and enjoy themselves while looking out for our fearless heroes??
