         【 ❀ 】 “Absolutely--!” Wow, that was a quick response. Looks like he offered the perfect person free sweets! “Did you make them yourself? I’m willing to try!”

{ Marie }:

♡~ “Well, it’s not like I really have much else to do after school anyways. Just settle in at home, eat, do homework, and sleep. Basically the same routine as always…” Marie replied, sighing softly.

♡~ “And nope, nothing big. Just a lot of small things. We were mostly given time to work on out projects after taking the notes. That’s really it.” Marie answered and just plopped down onto her back as she thought, holding the ukulele to her chest as she recalled the day.

♡~ “Bet it was nice just staying here instead of having to go to school, huh?” She added, not having a clue as to how Melody had really been spending her time earlier that day.

         【 ❀ 】”You would think, but I actually got really bored being stuck here,” Melody confessed with a sniffle and a sheepish smile as she continued to write down notes, “Call me crazy, but I basically just spent all day thinking about what I’m missing at school.”

          Well, that and the Night Beast that got away last night. It wasn’t a major threat, but she had only injured it instead of vanquishing it. It had slinked away into the shadows after she had fallen in the water, and Pieri had stated that it’s presence had disappeared all together. Melody couldn’t help but wonder where it had gone, but decided it best to just let the worry rest.

     Marie hadn’t noticed anything weird at school, so at least it hadn’t caused any havoc there, right?

        “It’s boring being home alone in comparison to being at school hanging out with you!”

{ Usagi!! }:

« ♣ » → green eyes glistened as she scrawled her signature onto the manga. she muttered her name quietly. although she’d never heard of melody mendoza before, she seemingly had a case of deja-vu, like she’d met her before. her brows furrowed as she placed a hand to her head. she grabbed the manga back, tucking it carefully back into her school bag. still, she couldn’t help but notice that the woman seemed uneasy of sorts. the wind carried her curly locks, a smile still worn on her rosy lips. she bowed, thanking her for the signature. 

          her excitement grew again as she heard about the show. “ah, wow! that is a bit far away, i hope i don’t forget about it by then. but i’m sure there’ll be lots of commercials for it so there’s no way i’ll forget. oh– and by the way, my name is usagi kagome.” her hands tugged on her school bag, looking up at the older girl. and although she was happy to be talking to such a cool actress, she couldn’t get the fact that she approached her first out of her mind. 

           she broke the silence, fidgeting with her skirt. “eh, mendoza…-san, can i ask why you approached me, out of everyone watching your performance? maybe i was just imagining, but as soon as i entered the crowd, i saw you look directly at me.”

         【 ❀ 】Okay. Usagi Kagome. At least her suspicions were confirmed, but this was still a very bizarre scenario. Perhaps Melody herself was making this stranger than this truly was, but she couldn’t get over how weird encounter was. She had never experienced this kind of time travel phenomena; only heard of it in stories Pieri had told her.

          Oh, wait-- She was zoning out. Usagi had asked her a question, hadn’t she? She was asking why Melody had approached her of all people. Right. What was a decent excuse?

     “Er-- Sorry if that was... strange,” Melody nervously moved a hand to scratch at her arm, her eyes glancing elsewhere as she tried to think of a good reply, “You just-- Um-- Look like an old friend? I guess I just thought you were her. Heh...”

        At least it wasn’t a lie this time. Hopefully that response would suffice.

{ Sora }:

A somewhat awkward yet still sincere smile on his face, hanging on her every  word as they headed down the long flight of stairs, unlike her he was plenty used  to team ups, but this one had come straight out of the blue. Where should he  even start with this?

     ❝ Oh? Uhh yeah, sure ❞ 

Not that he was familiar with type of stuff the girl was used to fighting, or the girl he was partnered up with for that matter. All he really knew about her was what Master Yen Sid had told him.

 ❝ There’s a few different kinds, but I think the only ones we’ll have to worry about are the Heartless  ❞

‘A fellow guardian of the light, but not one with the keyblade’ And she’s never  dealt with Heartless before either? That sounded sorta weird, but Master Yen   Sid seemed to believe she could handle their assignment, still insisted that he go wrong with to show her some of the ropes ‘Your destiny this time is the guide  hers’….

     ❝ They come from the darkness in people’s hearts, and try to steal other's hearts, trapping worlds in darkness behind them ❞ 

         【 ❀ 】 “Heartless, huh? Sounds really spooky,” her voice held a tone of concern, yet she was very intrigued, “What do they want with those hearts? Is it because they don’t have hearts of their own that they take from people who have them?”

          Albeit very different, these Heartless sound a lot like the Creatures of the Night, which prey on darkness and negativity and exploit it to their personal gain. Harming the innocent... It was scary, but nothing she couldn’t handle now. She was sure of that much at least.

     “See, the threat I deal with back home is kinda similar, but we don’t know too much about them aside from what we’ve seen... But all in all, I think we’re practically alike, aren’t we? Fighting the dark to protect the light!”

{ Midna }:

A light laugh escaped between her fingers as she covered her smile once Melody had agreed to the new circumstances presented. Previously wet and uncomfortable by the cold rain, Midna was momentarily shielded by the umbrella held high above her helm.  ❝ I was joking, by the way. I’m actually quite surprised you did it, actually !! Oh humans… So obedient !! By the way, if you think calling me your highness is supposed to make me feel bad, it doesn’t. ❞

So the princess thought of where the two should go before the rain picked up and goth them both soaked regardless of the umbrella.  ❝ I’m sure some shopkeeper wouldn’t mind two lovely ladies hanging about in their shop. If they do, then I’ll just scare ‘em a bit into hiding behind the counter, hah !! ❞

         【 ❀ 】Suddenly very embarrassed and self-conscious of her kind gesture, Melody bit her lip to refrain from frowning at her own expense. Obedient? Maybe she was a bit too obedient. She could argue that this wasn’t the case, but what was the point? It would just be a losing battle from the start.

          “B-But wouldn’t that just make them want us to leave more?” Melody sighed as she glanced about the various buildings within view. This place was so much different from home, she couldn’t tell what was a shop and what wasn’t, “Scaring them like that will only make things worse, even if we did end up getting a place to stay. It just sounds so... mean.”

     Perking up at the sight of light flickering in a window and a hanging sign with letters foreign to her not so far away, Melody smiled as a wave of relief washed over her, “Aha! That’s a place! I can’t read the sign, though... Let’s try over there!”

{ Wind Spirit }:

≈ meliora watched in awe as the shadows disappeared one by one. when they were finally gone, she took a deep breath, letting it out slowly as she observed the other fall onto the concrete. she got up slowly, knees red from sitting on the asphalt. walking over to her, she heard the words the girl muttered, cheeks turning red just before she even began to speak. she laughed nervously, fidgeting with the sleeves of her baggy sweater. “i–i guess it was too noticeable for me to play it off. this may not make much sense, but i’m the daughter of the wind spirit, er—, i am the wind spirit.”

  small, childlike hands pushed her coal black hair behind her ears. “i control the wind– i’m responsible for the wind you feel every day, i– i guess technically i am the wind.” she took a small breath and blew out, the wind suddenly picked up and the fallen leaves in the alleyway began to blow around in circles. she inhaled, leaves then dropping onto the concrete at the sudden cease of wind. 

  “usually this freaks people out, but what you were fighting was definitely more freaky than my wind abilities. w–what was that anyway? and what are you?” her sky blue eyes stared at her cutesy pink outfit again, almost surprised that someone in such a girly outfit could fight something so scary.

         【 ❀ 】The awe in her expression is almost silly, like a child who had just seen a fairy tale come to life. Melody watched as the wind picked up with the girl’s cool breath, amber eyes watching as the fall leaves twirled and danced on her breeze. She had never even seen such a thing like this happen before, but she couldn’t say she was surprised that a Wind Spirit existed. Melody had heard and seen far stranger things in these past months. This hardly even brushed the surface of strange things she had experienced, but she was fascinated none the less.

          “That’s-- That’s incredible!” The brunette girl exclaimed, rising to her feet and dusting off her tight covered knees, “I’ve never even heard of Wind Spirits and stuff! Do you really control the wind everywhere?!”

     At her inquiry of what just happened, Melody became bashful once more, her cheeks flushing pink as she pointed her gaze to the toes of her pink boots. Ah, an explanation was due, wasn’t it?

        “U-Um-- It’s a bit of a long story. But, um, I’m a Magical Protector...! My job is to, uh... fight monsters like that thing you just saw? Yeah...”

New Verse!

❀ Pokemon Verse ❀ { v; Gotta Love ‘Em All! }

         This verse is based on the Pokemon series! Melody is a trainer from Unova who’s traveling for the joy of seeing the world after her parents insisted that she should have an adventure of her own just like they did when they were young. She isn’t much of a battler, but prefers to act more as a tamer as she practices ways to ease Pokemon and help them relax and become more friendly. She’s a pacifist to a fault!

☽"Of course… Since your are one of few people who don’t insult me or calling me weird because I want to give them the left over of my sweets. Kind of sad" he said with a sad sigh and a light pout. It kind of was painful when he wanted to be nice but get to see a not so nice side of people.☾

         【 ❀ 】 “And, honestly, that’s a real shame,” Melody sighed as she leaned against the wall beside him, “You have, like, all the best sweets, too. I’d be flattered to share them with you! Er-- Sweets aside, though, how are you today?”
