YA THINK DISNEY?? People are sooooo fucking fed up with the remakes. Get some original content.

I stand by Maleficent and Cinderella only did so well because the story was either reimagined or given more depth.

Maleficent gave a new perspective to the original tale, had darker undertones and overall did a really good job of building the story.

Cinderella gave more depth to a somewhat 2D (haha) character by expanding on their personalities, backgrounds and providing more life to the story.

Beauty and the Beast was and always will be an attempt to ride the previous twos fame by slapping an ok famous female lead into a story and delivering a nearly frame for frame remake.

And don't get me started on the Lion King.

Disney has become souless and money hungry. And whilst their greed continues, I'll be boycotting their releases.
