Today’s advice from your Goth Auntie
Big stretch! Have a snack, take your meds.
To quote both my Dad and my fave fictional psychiatrist, it’s fine to be weird.
The Cursed Object understands the idea of sharing except when there’s homemade fruit compote.

Today’s advice from your Goth Auntie
Drop your shoulders, drink some water, take your meds.
Kindness is different from niceness. Be kind, and don’t worry about nice.
The Lurking Horror tried again to slide down the bannister. It again went poorly.

Witch things to add in your room, poor person edition
Fuck it Most of witchcraft people tell you to buy shit. So here's some stuff u can do for free
grab some sticks from the ground, bind them together in a shape you like, add intent (usually protection), hang it up
make a flower crown, add protection intent, dry it out, hang it up. protection spell and real ward. regularly recharge intent.
dry plants, set warding intent, hang them up.
crushed eggshells on your window sill to prevent bad energy.
wear a bandana or veil somewhere on your body, sometimes i use mine as belts, to protect from bad vibes.
paint your nails in the color meaning you want. mine are pink for self attraction rn
when you light up a candle always ask if theres a spirit or entity there, pyromancy skills can be learned through google, tumblr, and tiktok.
Regularly clean and rearrange your altar if you can't practice everyday, this keeos the space clean and shows entities around that even if ur not active, you're still a witch
A cup of water can be an offering to anyone, imagine being an entity and you can't have water at all for centuries??
If you have glasses, draw a sigil on them while you clean them (i usually wash mine with soap and water to make it extra clean ((and dry with paper towels)))
Give your wall art jobs. Sure they can be decorative, or they can be extra eyes to watch you while you sleep to make sure no one messes with you. (Ive had so much wall art fall in the middle of the night and turns out smth was trying to get in my room...)
If you have black-out/thick curtains, let the sun in!!! I keep them tied during the day so i can use natural light and ease up my electricity bill
Change ur bedsheets semi regularly, it doesn't need to be every week, but keep in mind bedbugs and other entities can get trapped there... or even try to get there to make your sleep unrestful.
If your room is a bio-hazard, at least make pathways so you can walk without injuring yourself.
Thats all i have for now <3 blessed be and fuck capitalism

Today's advice from your Goth Auntie
Unclench your jaw, drink some water, take your meds.

As long as my sh!ts together, then hell yea. I love learning and disputing information. It's so important when we put aside the ego and share and grow as a people, as herbalists, as witches, as Wicca's, to me most importantly those to love to get in synch with nature, a people who understand that living with not in war with. Girl come here and talk with everyone who is willing with an open mind. I may be in a bad spot and semi drunk but the only think I believe in is learning and sharing without judgement. Never judge and share with openness and love always
Would any witchy/religious mutual be interested in joining me for Studyblr on witchcraft/religion topics in 2023. 🤔📒

The good bit is I finished my pc but my depression is in control. I will update my pc data as soon as I can. I'm sorry. I wanna try. I just feel like all efforts end in bad things or the worst endings.

So I've been suspended and brought back on a verbal but apparently the general manager is allowed to insult and bully and cast fear and me saying I don't understand what's happening while he's screaming at me for 30 mins about transferring me or firing me is ok. So yea they have issued another letter to have another hearing, atleast it's not a tribunal to fire me with no prior notice. Nothing I do let's me feel ok. I feel like screaming that's wrong. I feel like crying that's wrong. I feel suffocated that's wrong. I am heart broken over a job that hates me, that sees me as a imposition that stops them from bringing a relative in that they would rather. But would that person actually work and care for people like me?

BANEFUL INGREDIENTS AND USES
This is a list I have compiled and have created. With the herbs, they must be negatively charged, just like anything else. Tell them what to do and charge them with your intent. Herbs have polarity, they can heal but they can also hex.
BANEFUL HERBS
Angelica root - misery, strife, distress
Asafoetida - drives enemies away
Bayberry - depression
Blueberry - confusion, strife
Catnip - distraction, loss
Cayenne - anxiety
Chickory - to sow discord
Chili powder/flakes - discord, spicy misery
Clove - stop gossip
Dahlia - bad luck, loss
Foxglove - causes, nightmares, vanity
Gardenia - seal their love life
Ginger - bitterness
Hemlock - discord, misery
Ivy - binding
Lavender - depression, insomnia
Lotus - depression
Mandrake - misery, strife
Mint - visions, nightmares
Mistletoe - serious harm, anxiety, confusion
Mugwort - nightmares, hallucinations, paranoia
Mullein - nightmares
Nightshade - nightmares, anxiety, sickness
Onion - strife
Poppy seeds - discord, nightmares
Rose - tempt into cheating
Rosemary - nightmares, insecurity
Rue - misery
Spanish moss - bad luck, binding
Tobacco - substitute for (most) any baneful herb
Vetiver - silence
Wormwood - misery, strife
OTHER INGREDIENTS Glass shards - reflect transgressions, to cause harm
Sharp objects (pins, needles, thumb tacks, thorns, etc) - damage, cause harm
Rusty nails - cause harm
Glitter - make their problems stick to them
Price tags - Debt, financial troubles
Dead battery - drain their energy
Vinegar - to sour, to rid yourself of them
Charcoal - block their vision, lack of clarity
Hot sauce - spicy misery
Cover hex jar with tin foil - make victim feel isolated and alone
Googly eyes - evil eye, to make them always feel watched, paranoia
Agar or Pectin - stick their problems to them, cause them stagnation
dog/cat shit - to shit on their life (energetically sever the connection to your pet though)
Cigarette butts - to cause addiction and troubles
Salted earth (just combine hydrophobic soil and salt) - dry up their resources, cause infertility
Nasty bong water - it's gross, need I say more?
Dog hair - fear, anxiety
Urine - to sour
Citric Acid - to pucker, to get them to stfu.
Pro-tip: use ingredients your target is allergic to. This can really help make a powerful hex, especially if they are allergic to nuts and go into anaphylactic shock or have any other extreme adverse reaction.
Any herb CAN be used banefully. Any crystal CAN be used banefully. First see what the herb/crystal is used for and, well, reverse it. Love => loneliness/loss of love. Peace => paranoia. Dream work => nightmares. Mental Clarity => delusions. All you need to do is negatively charge them. Tell them what to do and focus your rage and hate into the herbs/crystals to charge them up.
For more information on baneful ingredients, spellwork, and other herbs' uses, check out The Cobalt Athenaeum discord server!

So I found a book of just symbols at the library near my new place but I couldn't check it out so I took pics of pages I found very interesting and thought I'd share some with yall
Planetary and astronomy symbols
Tumblr media
Apparently these are botanical symbols
Tumblr media
Elements, the scientific kind not natural
Tumblr media
And weather symbols
Tumblr media
I got a kick out of these. I'm sure someone else might. I just think they're cool but I forgot the name of the book so I'll have to go back on my next day off 😅
