Sad to say that one of my Snails (Stripey) has died :( I have cared for Stripey for two years and I hope he/she felt that they had a happy life.

The Snail family enjoying their food :)
Snails favourite food is cucumber, but it doesn’t have much nutritious value. I give the Snails a variation of foods, such as: lettuce (of course), carrot skins, tomatoes, parsnip skins, mushrooms, broccoli and potato skins too.
I also provide cuttlebone for their growth, which I do by placing cuttlebone into their home and also scraping it onto their lettuce :)

How it all began...
Back in 2014, I noticed a tiny yellow stripey Snail on my Auntys outside table on his/her own. I felt sorry for the Snail and decided to take him home and keep him as a pet, naming him simply “snaily”. Two year’s on and I now have a family of Snails!! I absolutely love caring for them-I genuinely feel like their Mum :’)! I can’t imagine my life without caring for Snails now (as strange as this may seem). Snails are beautiful, and I hope this blog shows this ♥
