It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? Life got in the way and honestly, I’ve been taking my sweet time with this new build. It also didn’t help that the Sim File Share site kept giving me errors whenever I tried to upload it and I was supposed to post this last month.

Even now, I’m still dealing with errors on the site and after some frustration, I’ve decided to look into alternative sites for uploading content in the future. But after all the setbacks, it’s finally ready!

This clinic is designed to give a real-life feeling of visiting a healthcare facility. Inside, you’ll find a: reception area, consultation/exam rooms, pharmacy, laboratory, x-ray/radiology, restroom, locker room, staff break room, doctors office and a large empty room for the rabbit hole rug/door. Now, a couple of things to keep in mind - the layout is designed with a small staff in mind but you can use the extra space in the second floor, where the rabbit hole rug/door is placed, if you want to add more offices or any other services. Just make sure that there is enough space for the rabbit hole rug/door to avoid routing issues. I had to get creative with the signs for this build as I couldn’t find anything that felt right or any CCs that matches the layout of the clinic so I made my own directory signs. It is included in the download file and I’ve posted the details along with this post as it is an add-on for the clinic. I’m using a font called Simlish Deja Vu by gazifu@MTS for the signs and I’ve also included translations in the picture above. It’s not perfect but you know what? It does the job! I have also placed a big sign shown on the clinic that translates to 'Pharmacy' and I know it might seem a bit out of place but honestly, it’s the only large sign I liked that fit the building aesthetic I was going for. 📣 Please note that the CC included in the lot are not included on the download file. NRAAS Careers Mod

Branches and Wages: I decided to focus on two branches for my Dermatology career, which branch out after level 5: Cosmetic Dermatology, focusing on non-surgical treatments and Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery, which specializes in skin surgery. The two branches share the same skill and metric requirements, as they are both part of the medical field. The main difference lies in their salaries, with the Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery branch offering a higher pay. I aimed to make the wages as realistic as possible however to compensate for the increased days off and decreased work hours as the level increases, I had to raise the hourly wages beyond the normal salary ranges for Levels 6-10 for both branches. Metrics and Books: This career is similar to the medical career in The Sims 3, particularly in terms of the logic skill and research as part of its metrics. However, I also included charisma, as I believe it’s a vital skill for patients to trust and feel comfortable with their doctors, especially when it comes to skin treatments. Opportunities and Uniforms: With a bit of experience in creating opportunities, I decided to add four this time, three of which are repeatable! All of them are relatively simple and offer bonuses, as well as salary increases for some as rewards upon completion. For uniforms, I’ve provided a picture above to highlight the differences between the levels by assigning different colors to the scrubs. There isn’t a general color assigned to dermatology uniforms, as hospitals usually decide the scrub colors for their various departments. As stated above, you will need NRAAS Careers Mod for these careers to show up in the game and as long as you have the latest version of it, it should work for higher patches. I’m not fluent in any other languages to translate so if anyone is interested in translating this career, please don’t hesitate to send me a message here, comment on this post or let me know in my Ask/Contact form (if you don’t have a Tumblr account) and will let you know the details. This lot uses a lot of custom content for décor, as it’s intended for players who prefer not to use mods in their game and is mainly for roleplay purposes.

However, for those who don’t mind using mods, I recommend the Shop for Clothes and Shop for Clothing Display Pedestal mods both by Ani or the Boutique mod by phoebejaysims to enhance the bridal boutique experience on the first floor.

If you have the Into the Future expansion pack, you can use the Clothing Pedestal instead and replace the displays around the store or add them in as you like.

The second floor is home to the salon, which features a lot of custom décor. The Hairdresser mod by phoebejaysims is a great addition here and you can swap the chairs for their modded hairdresser's chairs and add a portfolio from them as well.

The third floor is a café, where I placed a food register from the World Adventures expansion pack, along with a chest-like chillbox for those who want to use Ani’s Sell From Inventory mod.

You can also replace the café display or add the Quick Croissants Coffee Bar from the University expansion pack or the Have Coffee With Me mod, for those who don’t have the expansion pack.

I decided not to add a tattoo shop, as it didn’t quite fit the theme I was aiming for with this lot. However, I’ve included an empty space in the basement with a 'for rent' sign so you can add a tattoo shop or create anything you like in this space.

This lot is a bit CC-heavy, as I have used more cc compared to game objects and these are not included on the download file. I’ve compiled a list for those interested in downloading them separately (please click the links above or go to WCIF Navigation page). The Ambitions expansion pack is required for the Salon lot to work in your game but I’m not sure about the others so please take note of the expansion packs with build items listed in the Details section above.

I'm back with the second gift for the Petalruesimblr Advent Calendar: a church/chapel community lot, perfect for weddings! I personally prefer using a church for weddings in my game rather than a wedding hall and this is one of my favorites among the lots I've built so far.

This lot is mainly intended for weddings, as I’ve placed an invisible wedding rug in front of the altar but you can easily swap that out for a wedding arch if you'd prefer. There’s also a small outdoor reception area at the back, which can accommodate up to 14 guests, making it perfect for close family and friends.

This lot is set as “No Visitors Allowed” thus can’t be used for destination, funeral or wedding parties. However, you can change the lot type to host a party to any of the following lots stated in this Wiki here. I set it up this way to avoid inactive Sims using the buffet every time they get hungry, as most of them don’t clean up afterward and it tends to get messy.

For RP players, you can decorate the church for each wedding - placing flowers, balloons or any other décor you like. The decorations shown in the pictures above are not included in the final lot but if you're interested, you can find the flowers from ATS3 here.

You can even use this lot for funeral parties if you prefer. I believe ATS3 also has open coffins (same link above) while BuffSumm offers dead bodies that you can place inside or also use the lot for the Priest Career by Lily__XD from MTS. However, you may need to make room for the rabbit hole rug or door, as the creator uses City Hall for this specific career. There are endless possibilities for roleplaying, so feel free to do whatever you like with any of my builds! 😊

I've been MIA these past few weeks as I've been busy with work and preparing gifts for everyone here for the holidays. There’s also a lovely deck area with lounge chairs, perfect for chilling with friends or enjoying a sunset. Station 118 is the go-to firehouse for extinguishing both flames and bad moods caused by overcooked hot dogs at your neighborhood BBQ. Equipped with a firepole that may or may not be a bit too slippery, the Station 118 team of dedicated, occasionally over-caffeinated firefighters is always ready to dash to the rescue - or to fix the oven after another cooking disaster.

I’ve been re-watching a few episodes of 9-1-1 lately and it reminded me that I have a few fire stations built a long time ago. Most of them are on larger lots but I wanted something smaller so recreated one of my old builds and keep it for Ambitions only.

I wanted to place a few fun/silly photographs of firefighters to lighten up some of the rooms so I made two custom paintings and these are the only CC included with this lot. These are not required and will be automatically replaced in the game but if you want to download them along with the lot, I’ve included a bulk download file option above. If you'd prefer to download just the CC, you can visit my WCIF Navigation page or go directly to the related post, as I’ve made a separate post for it here.

As a reminder, 📣 please note that if you choose the bulk download file option, the Station 118 Fire Department by PRS package file should be placed in your Library folder while the custom paintings (Behind the Hose Photographs and Firehouse Hotshots Photographs by PRS) should go in the Mods folder.

The Ambitions expansion pack is required due to the lot assignment/type and the build items used in the lot as stated in the Details section above. The lot includes all the required objects for the firefighter career including the sliding pole, fire truck and a few decorative items (firefighter's axe wall decoration and fireman’s coat wall sculpture), as well as a small gym and The Book Corral bookshelf to help increase athletic and handiness skills.

Due to the large space on the third floor, I’ve separated the sleeping rooms by gender and placed four beds in each room as I typically have fewer than 10 firefighters in a saved game. You can replace those with bunk beds instead if you need more sleeping space.

As a final treat for this year's Simblreen (@simblreenofficial), I'm excited to share a house inspired by the spirit of the season! While the name of this lot may be a nod to Danny Phantom, unfortunately it isn't a replica of Pariah's Keep. Instead, it's designed to be a home fit for a modern-ish witch and I've included as many Halloween-themed CC items as I could.

I’ve been considering getting the Supernatural expansion pack but something has always held me back into doing it and working on this house has made that temptation even stronger. Since I don’t have the pack, all witch-related objects are purely decorative. You can replace them with Supernatural objects like cauldrons, wands, etc. which can be stored in the hidden witches' potion pantry in the tower.

As a reminder, 📣 please note that the store content and CC included in the lot are not included on the download file. The lot may seem a bit sparse from above based on the floor plan pictures but this includes around 79 CCs. These are not required and will be automatically replaced in the game but if you want it to look the same as in the pictures, you can always go to my WCIF Navigation page, where I’ve compiled a list for those interested in downloading them separately.

I placed three fog emitters outside the house to create an eerie atmosphere, especially at night and as long as your game is patched to 1.42 or higher then you won’t need the Ambitions expansion pack for this to be available. However, the Generations and Pets expansion pack are required due to the build items used in the lot as stated in the Details section above.

As Halloween approaches, I’m excited to share my second treat for this year’s #Simblreen: custom clothing inspired by the spooky season! I mentioned in my first simblreen post that I wanted to share something different from my usual content for this Halloween and there are only two things I can think of to share that I usually create for my own game: custom paintings and shirts. For creating custom shirts or outfits for my career, I usually use CAS Texture Unitool because it is much easier for me and the images used for the stencils are still sourced from Pixabay, where they share stock photos and images. I'm not sure if I should share more of this type of content in the future or if anyone is even interested in these, as I know they are not the best out there. But we’ll see - maybe I’ll gain more confidence in sharing them! If you’re interested in starting to create your own custom shirts or adding stencils in the game, I’ve included a few tutorial links under Credits below. Although this is my first time sharing this type of custom content, I have been creating it for my own game for quite a while. TSR Workshop is my go-to software for creating custom paintings and posters, and the images used for this particular content are sourced from Pixabay, where they share stock photos and images. This is just one painting but it features six different Halloween-themed images. The painting can be found in the "Decor -> Wall Hangings" section of the catalog and is base game compatible. I was initially hesitant to share this, as it’s not my usual type of content but I wanted to offer something different as a treat this Halloween. I hope you like it! NRAAS Careers Mod

I created this part-time career because, first, I wanted to create the illusion that SimGuard Security Services is assigning their security guards to different rabbit holes in town. Second, I wanted to have different shifts for each of them. Lastly, I wanted some of my Sims to have a part-time security guard gig rather than a full-time career. Skills and Ages: The skills for these part-time positions are the same as those for the full-time role, focusing on athletic and logic skills. However, the security guard assigned to the grocery also needs charisma, as they primarily deal with customers and don't rely heavily on athletic and logic skills during their shifts, in my opinion. This is also why this career is the only one available to elder Sims, in case they need a steady income. Work Hours, Rabbit Holes and Gameplay: Each part-time position has different work hours and is assigned to different rabbit holes: Grocery, City Hall, Science Lab, School, and Hospital. You can also have all of them running simultaneously for one active family if you wish; all of them can work together, including the full-time career. As stated above, you will need NRAAS Careers Mod for these careers to show up in the game and as long as you have the latest version of it, it should work for higher patches. Hello and welcome back to my blog! I planned to post this about two weeks ago, but I got so busy with booking flights and reservations for my trip that I decided to wait until I returned from my vacation.

This project has been my plan for my next #FollowersGift and I’m happy that it's finally complete. It's not much, to be honest; this was just an idea I had for a career and I was unsure if I should create a part-time job again or pursue a full-time career, so I decided to do both!

The SimGuard Security Services is a full-time career based on a security company/firm while SimGuard Security is also part of that but is assigned to different lots. This took a while because aside from creating five part-time careers, I also created a full-time career that includes branches, opportunities and books, which will be fully discussed in this post. A second post will follow for the part-time careers so this one won't get too long.

NRAAS Careers Mod

Branches and wages: This career has two branches that branch out after level 5: the Management branch, which focuses on handling internal agency operations as you progress to higher ranks and the Field Operations branch, which allows for expertise in specific security fields. All the levels represent realistic roles based on the research I did for this career. If you prefer the managerial role, expect to read more reports and increase your logic skills. However, if you prefer roles like a bodyguard or security escort, expect to develop both athletic and logic skills as you take on different roles in the field. Levels 1-5 offer realistic hourly wages based on research. To compensate for the increased days off and decreased work hours as the level increases, I had to raise the hourly wages beyond the normal salary ranges for Levels 6-10 for both branches. Metrics and Books: I made a few changes to this career, specifically regarding the metrics. I originally planned to include "Reports" as part of the required tasks but I realized this was unrealistic since it was based on the Law Enforcement career, where individuals interview people, search through their trash and create reports based on those findings—tasks not typical for a security guard. Instead, I made it a custom tone and changed the "Reports" metric to "Research," which is based on the Medical career, where professionals read reports from their subordinates instead of medical journals. Opportunities: As this is my first time creating opportunities, I focused on developing just two for now, with only one of them being repeatable. This is because security guards need to complete a minimum number of hours of continued firearm training per year. I initially planned to include Martial Arts as part of the metrics but decided to make this base game compatible for now. I might release a different version for World Adventures but to be honest, I don’t have the time at the moment. You are always free to add it on your own for personal use (check my terms of use). This internship is inspired by a real program, specifically the NY Office of the Mayor Internship Program and as the The Sims 3 features a "Leader of the Free World" as the final level of the Political career, I named this internship the Office of the Leader Internship.

NRAAS Careers Mod

I initially considered including logic as one of the metrics but decided to remove it. The Political career in the game relies solely on charisma as its primary skill and mostly depends on funding for promotions. It didn’t make sense to include logic, as it isn’t used in the long run for this career path. The work days for this internship are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays. If you have the Seasons expansion pack then it will only be two days due to Thursday is considered as a holiday and Drama Club meetings are on Tuesday and Friday if you have the Generations expansion pack (which is useful if you want your teens to increase their charisma faster). 📣 Upon reaching level three in their internship, teens will be eligible for promotion to the Political career upon applying once they become young adults.
