The Family Tree, by Stepth Mullin and Nicole Mabry
This is one of those books that I read the blurb of and just knew I had to read it. However it wasn't my favourite read, I still enjoyed the sense of the book and the premise of the storyline. It was an easy read for myself. I quite quickly guessed who the serial killer was, so it wasn't much of a twist and was kind of disheartening when I realised I was correct in my assumption. I also found Liz very whinny and self centred. Which is fine to extent, she did just find out a massive thing about her life. Even so, she just didn't come across in the best way. Either way, I would give this book 3 stars at best

The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley
I really liked this book by Lucy Foley! She's quickly becoming one of my favourite thriller/mystery authors. I loved that until the end you didn't exactly know who was the victim and who was the killer. I remember having to close the book just before all that was revealed and I was going over every possible scenario in my head! It made me want to get back to my book as soon as possible!

The Vow By Debbie Howells
This was a very enjoyable read for me. The characters were well thought out, the plot was intriguing and interesting. I would definitely want to experience the read again. The one thing that did stand out to me was the repetition in One of Fiona’s chapters. There’s a small paragraph that repeats itself. It was kind of jarring as you had literally just read it moments before. But overall. I loved this book. So much so I finished it in one night.

Swatting at Butterflies by S.A. Fanning
Wow. Where to start? This book explores grief, guilt and trauma perfectly. It shows the feelings someone can go through when what happened to Chloe happens. Parts of it were very thought provoking. You really felt for Chloe and the people around her. The character development was done very well. You truly felt her worries around what was going on. This is a story that I hope many people will read in order to understand what people might feel when going through trauma.
