tony : "you good, kid? you got here later than you normally do."
peter : "sorry mr. stark, I had to take the subway today after school."
tony : "the subway takes that long to get here? could've sworn it was a 15-minute ride at most."
peter : "well, I was down two dollars for the ticket, so I had to ask a few people for some money. I ended up spending twenty minutes asking people for quarters like a crazy person, super embarrassing. oh!—and then I was really hungry. like, so hungry I was probably gonna faint if I kept swinging, so I stopped by mcdonalds but I still didn't have any money so I just had to pretend it was my birthday and take the free mcflurry."
tony : "you do know I could've just sent you money, right"
peter : "yeah but that's cheating"

I’m obsessed with the idea of Tony slowly getting to know Peter just by listening to his voicemails (after Peter gets Tony’s number and starts sending him updates instead of Happy). As time passes, Peter is convinced that Tony hasn’t listened to any of them so he starts getting more and more unhinged and saying way more than he would ever say to Tony’s face and Tony is just lurking, growing more and more fond of this kid that rambles to his voicemailbox.
Peter’s still a shy bean to his face, so he doesn’t mention that yes, he actually does listen to the voicemails in fear of Peter stopping.
And then one day Tony slips up and mentions something that Peter told him in a voicemail and Peter is completely mortified. You mean his mentor actually listens to them? He’s heard Peter regale his most embarrassing school stories and gush about his childhood crush on Thor? He thinks his life is over until Tony panics and tells him that receiving the voicemails is one of the best parts of his day. Peter stares at him like a lost puppy and Tony shies away from the feelings and everything’s as awkward as usual.
But that night, a voicemail comes in, and it’s no different than any of the others. Peter yammers like his heart depends on it, and Tony can’t help but feel that it’s an acknowledgement of the fact that yeah, they may have a difficult time talking to one another in person, but they both care, and maybe if they keep trying, they can make this father-son thing work.
And Tony thinks that next time a phone call rolls in, he just might answer.

Hi there! Do you have any recomedation of fics abt Peter meets young Tony? Smth like that, cuz Ive been reading fics abt Peter and Tony travel Times together and meets Howard Stark and I become obses with it, thank you 🤍
Here’s some where Peter meets younger Tony.
Hero by lady_oneder
Time travel is fickle, and Tony is busting out his dad moves. Peter just wants to take the physics test he studied hard for. OR Tony, Morgan, and Peter accidentally travel back and time and meet Howard and Maria Stark Chapter 4 is an Author's Note.
never become by krystalpomme
after a lab day gone wrong, peter travels back in time to 1992. he needs tony's help to get him back to his own time, but can he trust himself to not reveal the truth of their relationship to his 21 year old father figure? meanwhile tony is fighting his own battles. peter makes him realize his one true fear would never come true. As Peter's view was obstructed by his sweater paws wiping away his tears, he didn't notice as he walked straight into someone's side as he rounded a busy corner. He removed his hands from his face in horror, "I-I'm so sorry! I wasn't..." Peter's eyes widen as he took in the man before him. He had thick black hair, thick eyebrows, and smooth skin. His brown eyes were unmistakable and Peter was hit with relief. It was Mr. Stark. based on: "congratulations, you won. and all the love you never gave me, i can give to my son. eternal love to my child, we'll forever be one. thanks to you, i know the man that i would never become." - like a river by joyner lucas
Pickle Starburst by Bergen
One mundane evening, an awkward, wide-eyed teenager with strange enhanced abilities tumbles into Tony’s office and claims he is from the year 2017, twelve years into the future. Tony doesn’t really do kids. Or whack jobs. So a combination of the two is a challenge. But when has Tony ever backed down from a challenge?

Peter Parker Tom is a child and I’m tired of people pretending he isn’t
He is 17 years old, he LOST ALL HIS FRIENDS TO SAVE THE FUCKING WORLD, he lost Mrs stark, he lost MAY, he lost EVERYBODY and people are so focused on Andrew Garfield version (who was a university student already and very more mature) that they want him to have the maturity of an adult. He is A CHILD FOR GODS SAKE HE NEED HELPS TO GROW UP AND BE ON HIS OWN
what Peter did on the end of no way home was the saddest ending ever because he is alone he doesn’t have anybody just a cheap apartment on queens, but people are so FOCUSED on wanting him to be grown up spiderman that they ignore it. he’s 17 years old.
I love my baby and I won’t stand for anyone talking him down

It has been 2 days since Tony's birthday. But on May 29th --
In one universe, Peter buys two cupcakes from the bare savings he has for himself and places it in front of the Ironman mural painted in one of the walls of Queens. He quietly places one of it in front and holds the other one with both his hands.
He whispers quietly. "Hey, Mr Stark." He looks down at his hands. "I actually wanted to get a cake but," he pauses to chuckle miserably, "money has been tight a couple days."
He breathes out. "Happy birthday, Mr Stark." Picking at the wrap around the cake, Peter says almost mindlessly,
"Wherever you are, I hope you're proud of me."
