I hit a pothole (a Michigan pothole so basically a sinkhole) today and my check engine light came on. I don’t have one of those computer plugins to reset the light and I knew it was just a sensor that got knocked so I was just like “well let’s see if this works” and on the way home I swerved and hit the pothole again and the check engine light turned off

i relistened to hive and realized something: there is a reference to every single one of the fourteen entities in jane’s statement. obviously jane herself is corruption, and while giving her statement, she speaks about arthur nolan (the desolation) and oliver banks (the end). some of the other references are vaguer, but they’re all there.

How is no one talkin about my man Alexander Scaplehorn, the absolute legend who went to investigate the Trophy Room for money laundering in ep 54 and escaped by fuckin bodyslamming an avatar of the Stranger straight to the floor and then just fuckin hightailin it outta there. This man is a true badass and it’s a crime he doesn’t get mentioned in this fandom more.

I think Jonah is that kind of person who would just try throwing stuff at the avatars of the Lonely if they start to disappear on him in the middle of their conversation.

And if the thing hit them right as they are disappearing into the Lonely it ends up in there too.

Since Jonah's life is full of frustrating interactions with Lonely avatars there's quite some pile. And all the things are still there untouched because no one knows what to do with them. Jonah learns it when he asks Peter for pen. He hands him a one that belonged to Jonah like century ago.

"Oh I found this in the Lonely I don't know how it got there but you can keep it."
