i think Sunday used to do "elegant" sport like fencing or golf so maybe he knows basic drills and how to warmup and stuff. he still has barely ever stepped into a gym however and the ones he has are NEVER public.

other than that idk Sunday's body is a mystery.. how does he maintain himself.

probably naturally thin and frail. hed def have to be fit to keep up appearances but he doesnt seem like hed enjoy it? very self-critical about it too. gaslights himself into thinking he's "cured" now

A Pearl's Luster - part of my "A Sad Sea-Song" series.

As my author's note says, this wasn't really on the agenda but stuff happens so here we are. I anticipate the story only being about two or three chapters long and not end on the same sort of melancholy note the other installations of this series did so yay! :)

Sunday and Kakavasha are far apart but there is at least one person in the world that would see them together again.

Months pass after Kakavasha leaves Sunday behind. Even as he travels once more inland, he knows he hasn’t truly left the sea behind. As he makes his way down the road, he can hear the waves when the wind rushes over tall grass and at night he dreams of drowning in his lover’s golden gaze. When he pauses to rest a few days in each town and village he comes across, he is only too happy to spin tales of the beautiful and enchanting people of the sea for an audience that had never seen the ocean with their own eyes. Sometimes he earns a little coin and sometimes all that’s offered to him are a few hot meals and a place to sleep while he’s there but he doesn’t begrudge a comfortable place to lay his head. And on nights when the moon is full and seems to make everything glow with silver he has to wonder if he had stayed behind, could he have convinced Sunday to remain with him? A selfish wish, maybe, but Kakavasha had never claimed to not be. Not really.
