How do you get over a broken heart?

You don’t, ever. Not quite. But time can do amazing things. A deep wound scabs over, and the scab becomes a scar, and then one day you look for the scar and it’s barely visible. 

What’s important is not to become the wound. Not to spend your life and your time and your attention on the hurt and the heartbreak. Take it and make art with it, instead, or use it to push yourself forward, into things, not away from them.

Director wants YOU, as simple as that. I´d like to share an experience with you. I landed a role of mama in chocolate commercial with the director of Amelie from Montmartre, Delicatessen or A Very Long Engagement, Jean-Pierre Jeunet. After the 5 shooting days, he told me, that there were other good actresses on the callback, but he said: „I knew it was you ever since you entered the door“. I have dark brown hair and eyes, and the main character, my „son“ was BLOND boy with blue eyes. That was a problem. There were 2 production companies and 8 clients. But, obviously -when director really wants, what you are bringing, you get the part. HAVE A NICE DAY! Petra
