I have not read a warrior cats book since probably 2012. Read TBP and the second arc. Petrol Rats isn’t going to be set up similar to WC. I take more inspiration from Richard Adams’ “Watership Down.” And “The Plague Dogs.” Yet WC has always been a love of mine. Even if I’m not up to date! (And I don’t really fancy re-reading to ruin my teens aha!)

I am a game artist for a living and have my name on a few titles. Yet with the industry burning I’m looking into studying to become a vet tech! Art will always be a passion for me.

I’m an adult who was born in the 90’s, I know blogs like mine tend to be read more by minors so just fyi, you will be interacting with a shy gay disabled adult who has a strong dislike of social media.

This is a project mostly for myself to learn how to make comics, give myself some stress relief and just post my art somewhere again. I’m quite shy but really want to be able to show my art again.

Asks are fine! I may answer as the characters for more light hearted questions. Fan art and writing also is completely fine! I do not mind pings at all.

Putting off the comic to remember how to draw cats? Say it aint so!

Woof angles are hard. I'd love to finalise/clean up this in the future. I'm going to be busy with work soon so we'll see how much time I get.

Edit: MMM didn't realise how deepfried the image is. Alas, I'll probably delete this post when I eventually clean up the art

Bear time. Her markings changed a lot because I have quite similar cats. I'm still not settled on them really? Also still trying to figure out how I want to draw the cats, Tabitha felt too stiff, Bear feels a bit too cartoony. I usually paint realistic portraits so this is certainly flexing out of my comfort zone. Took a while due to nerves, trying to not overwhelm myself with the story idea. It's a horror based story which appears to be popular at the moment - caused some imposter syndrome to pop up. Currently I have five chapters written out with some story hooks in them, some major questions to the plot allued me at the moment. Anyway this is Bear. She is the co-founder of The Nest. At first Tabitha and Heron didn't consider making their home even bigger but Bear arriving brought up some interesting questions

Modified Tabs a little, I forgot she was a torbie and wanted to show off how minimal it was.

Some little info on her: While quite young, she's been with Heron (Elder of the The Nest) for at least two years now. It was just the two of them until Bear came along and a series of events led to The Nest being a waypoint in the middle of nowhere. She's obsessive and prides herself in keeping The Nest in top shape (as well as looking her best). Once an apprentice drug mud through the place and sheeee was not happy. It rarely rains where they are but when it does, it pours. The mud turned into clay and took ages to clean. She is a team player, always wanting to get stuck in. She's not just a figurehead who lounges in the sunlight. Talk about boring, yawn. I'll add some other info about The Nest in the future in it's own post. But for now, it's a rundown abandoned home in the middle of nowhere, South West USA
