Mizi never came back… oh my goodness… she was so overcome from loss and revenge that she did the very thing she fought Hyuna so hard on. Mizi told Hyuna that her love was cruel, so therefore she thought her love was cruel. Like is she still alive after 7 years? Was that recent or in the past? Did she ever get the chance to forgive herself!?!?! I’m dead like actually so dead.

Everytime I listen to this godforsaken gorgeous treacherous song, I'm reminded of Mizi (specifically) and Sua. 

I just had a grand realization that the shoulders thing can be connected to how Mizi and Sua were fighting before their show, pushing each other's shoulders... sick.

First of all, "Please wake up," can also be connected to that scene. Mizi is trying desperately to convince Sua not to sacrifice herself even though she knew she probably wasn't gonna be successful. A desperate attempt at saving someone she knew was already dead. I think that really matches the overall desperate sound of the song, where it talks about loss and how they are inherently and will forever be connected to the person who hurts them and the things they love. 

"Touch my skin and tell me where you've been." When Mizi sees the things that Sua was doing, rehearsing her death and all, she still ran to her and hugged her because she was aware of her pain, even though she didn't do much to stop Sua from doing it. She lowkey kissed the bad ways she had been 💔

Now, we saw how Sua stopped Mizi from jumping, grabbing her hand and stuff, y'know, touching her skin and wanting to know where tf she had been. I'm taking these lyrics very literally for the sake of this connection, but Sua stopped Mizi from burning herself out/dying. Next thing we know, Sua's on the ground with her own blood pooled on the ground and splattered against her lover's face! Haha... The blood was literally on her shoulders... her head doubled over the ground...

"And the blood of the man who killed my mother with his hands is in me, it's in me in my veins." We saw how Mizi's mother was killed (I think??) and then she was brought in by the aliens who tried to mold her into the perfect child with her mother's blood still fresh on their hands. The understanding of "love" that they gave her stuck with her until the end. She couldn't really see her relationships in a "normal" way because it all seemed somewhat transactional, like everyone was using everyone for something (as she says in the last round). Maybe she felt guilt because of it? When she was talking to Hyuna about it, she cried, acknowledging the fact that the way she loved wasn't usual, but it was still love (my baby 😕). She said, "Maybe I just wasn't as desperate as her," and I have a theory about this line which has really been wrinkling my brain. Maybe it was obvious, but was she saying that because she didn't really try to stop Sua from doing it, at least not early enough? Just imagining how much guilt she must've felt from that kills me. I kind of got off topic here oops.

Also at the end of the song, they write, "Who's killing our mother with his hands." Which makes me think about how the aliens were doing to all the children, and would continue to do so for the sake of entertainment, which is super relevant to the world right now and really shows me a bit more about the messages of Alien Stage. Anyways, the last round killed me. Sua as the guardian angel and lowkey the one who kind of gave life to Till killed me. I miss Sua. 💔.

Okay so hello. It’s my birthday and Mi Vida Loca just came out and I’m going crazy. HUGE news for the unemployed!!

Right off the bat, Till talks about how “pathetic” he feels when he’s around Mizi (?) and then he says “Scenario: Crush” which makes me feel like something is a little off? Lowkey I don’t know what this means but oh well, I will!

His love is overwhelming, and all he could is plead silently for the other person to somehow understand him (though I think it’d be pretty easy to see…) when his nervousness just completely overtakes him. THEN we get into the juice 😈

We got someone asking him all these questions like: “Do you luv me?” Now, this one is a little broad. Who could it be saying this? We know for sure that the song is partly about Mizi, but it could be Ivan as well girl. But we don’t know yet… until the person says “Don’t you leave me” and no shade but Mizi would never say that to him I fear. You know who would and who was hopelessly in love with Till though? IVAN‼️‼️ He constantly chased after, wanted to be with him any where and time he could. It absolutely fits. Especially with the “to be inside your heart” WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY IVAN AS WELL. It makes sense because the song is literally called Mi Vida Loca or My Crazy Life and his conflicting feelings are also a little crazy! Who is the true object of his affection? Did he ever find out I don’t know 😔

Also I forgot Till is saying stuff too oops. He says “I’ll probably get it across to you for sure/ Close the distance between us,” after who I think is Ivan says “Don’t you leave me.” So the meaning gets a little muddied. I just wanna say, they really did close the distance but at what cost 💔

ALSO, Ivan says “Don’t you hate me,�� and Till basically says his fear widens the distance between them. I DON’T KNOW IF THIS IS ABOUT MIZI OR TILL. I THINK IT’S PROBABLY MIZI THIS TIME. BUT IT FITS IVAN. NOW I’M CONFLICTED GIRL.

In the next verse, Till talks about how he doesn’t really care for the spotlight or the temporary fame except for Mizi/Ivan.

Okay so. I just have to write this down. This comic really changed how I viewed Mizi’s character as a whole like by a lot. Did not even hold my hand gently.

IS THIS CONFIRMATION THAT MIZI WASN’T AS INNOCENT AS PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT? DID SHE KNOW? I am so confused as to when this takes place, but I’m gonna take it as it takes place in whatever time it is in the picture. “YOU’RE SOMEONE WHO I COULD CRUSH IN AN INSTANT IF I FELT LIKE IT.” Alone, that sounds veryyy sadistic, but then it cuts to MIZI HOLDING HER DYING MOTHER IN HER 7 YEAR OLD ARMS. The aliens treat it in such a detached manner, like they were pets (made very clear before…) while Mizi is just sobbing. They don’t understand human emotion and relationships. Once they adopt her they just treat like a pretty little mindless jellyfish only there to entertain. Like a pou basically idk.

It’s literally all she knows, these doting parents who just gave her everything, but they couldn’t give her compassion or empathy or just any of the emotions she might’ve needed. Just material things like that DAMN TV.

No one talk to me. She watched them sing and die. As a little ass kid. I don’t know about anyone else, and maybe this is a little stupid of me, but I kinda really thought she had no idea people were gonna die. That was why she was always so happy go lucky, and why she was just so happy to be singing with Sua. Everyone was always trying to protect her from the horrors, but she already knew?

”I just felt like I’d be at peace being in a place where I’m not the one being crushed, but a place where I could crush someone.” What. What does this mean. So what does this mean. She knew she had an advantage over people aka Sua because of the way Sua perceived her? She was using what she had learned, or like continuing the cycle of idealization. IS THAT WHAT SHE MEANS? She was being crushed by expectations from her “parents” and so she passed it on. She idealized that place and Sua, like everyone always did with her. I’m so confused it’s very late right now. But oh em gee.

The parallels… oh my lord save me. I can’t. Also the fucking fact Sua is in Mizi’s show outfit. Also in the beginning I’m guessing Mizi or someone is making them even. Same toes and fingers and body heat. I’m sick. It’s also late. Ehehehehehehhe

awesome songs in this spectacular april season

AHHH So this month has been honestly amazing so far. I've met more amazing people, I've begun to make sense of myself, and best of all, I've heard more amazing beautiful fabulous music!! Clairo is saving my life with the charm album and I'm being so serious when I say that.

Snowpath by Jonah Yano and Clairo. This song takes my heart right out of my chest with the gentlest hands anyone could manage, injects rays from the yellow morning sun into it, and lays it back down through my ribs. "When my eyes meet the window, will the world get bright?" DON'T EVEN JOKE LAD. MY WORLD IS BRIGHT CAUSE OF THIS SONG. I LOVE IT.

Partridge by Clairo. Yes. Another Clairo song. And there will be more. I love this song. THE ALBUM ITSELF IS A WORK OF ART. "Comfortable, unmotivated always." That line is playing in the background of my mind at all times.

This Love of Mine by Alex Amen. This song makes me so freaking happy every time I listen to it. Like I get that feeling when you're looking around outside and all of a sudden there's this almost overwhelming burst of love for everything around you. "I ask the sun and the moon, the stars that shine, what's to become of it, this love of mine." MY QUESTIONS FOR THE UNIVERSE.

Little Girl Blue by Nina Simone. So in honor of jazz appreciation month (or whatever it's called) and also an episode of Pen15 which I finally finished after leaving it on hold for like 2 years, I listened to a bunch of jazz songs like the entire day in which I came across this one. I swear to whatever god is up there every time I hear Nina Simone sing my body morphs into something else. Don't ask what, but trust that's it's a good thing. This song in particular is just so sweet and it does make me feel loved. "All you can ever count on are the raindrops that fall on little girl blue." See I have no idea what this means, but I'm clinging to it like a monkey on a tree.

Stabilisers for Big Boys by Panchiko. Big change from the others, but this song is so unbelievably fire. I literally just looked up the lyrics and woah, but I fuck with it. It's super noisy, but I feel like puberty is too. Everything comes together to make this song wonderful and I LOVE IT. "I wanna kiss like a girl, I wanna fuck up your world." Like damn, but okay hell yeah!

girlfriend by hemlocke springs. Girl yes. I really do love everything about this song and I love hemlocke springs. This is the type of song I can listen to anywhere and enjoy just the same. It's so upbeat and cute and bubblegum princess and it is everything I want. Also, those lyrics are incredible and all I can think of most days as well. "Secretly I'm aiming for a rhythm that exceeds my expectations." I LOVE HOW THIS LINE ASCENDS AND HOW QUICK IT IS AND HOW IMPACTFUL IT IS LIKE ITS A REVEAL OF WHAT THE SPEAKER IS REALLY FEELING AND I LOVE IT.

If You Rescue Me (Chanson de Chats) by Jean-Michel Bernard. This song has been creeping its way up my mind scale of favorite songs and I love it. It's so peaceful and also so imaginative! Like, I think the speaker is supposed to be a cat (they literally say "someone will look into my eyes and say "hello, you're my very special kitten." I know they sound like a discord kitten but I promise you it's not about that! From what I know, this song was made for a movie called "Science of Sleep," which basically follows this guy or group of people as they begin dreaming about some wild stuff. I don't know the details, but I assume this song is apart of one of those dreams! Anyway, this song makes me very joyful. "If you rescue me, I'll never have to be alone again." I will start crying right here right now.

Finally, that's the end. This one is much longer than my other monthly song posts, but it deserves to be. All these songs truly have found a special place in my heart. I have to read 4 chapters of a book for english class and I have to practice for all-state choir, but oh well. This is much more important 😎

I really admire the ability to write a good, well thought out comment on a fic. I see comments where people manage to convey every single emotion they felt whilst reading the fic and they compliment the author's writing like "such masterful prose. Not at all purple. Shall I compare thee to a Summers day. And the juxtaposition of the snail imagery next to the slug allegory really culminates to produce a scathing commentary on today's socioeconomic climate, brava !"

And then my comment ends up sounding something like this in comparison:
