JJK Phantom Parade STARTING GUIDE - Timeline of JP release (Events, SSR Characters)

(self-made timeline, reblog and credit are appreciated, don't claim as yours)

Saving your Crystal-Cubes for your Favourite Character :

This timeline does not cover all banners (you can check the fandom wikia for all banners). The other characters (who you can see in the game tab) will all have their SSR released within a year except for the Headmasters. Several of them even had reruns already, such as Green!Gojo, Toji, Yellow!Nanami.

The Curse Users such as Hanami do not need Crystal-Cubes as you can trade for them in exchange for medals from Domain Investigation (the silver Phantom Medals). In JP server, Mahito was added in April and since then no one new joined the ranks, despite many players eagerly awaiting Sukuna. If you want to save your medals for now, you can, as it takes around 3 months of highest level Investigation (+ Event Rewards) to get the 1500 medals necessary to exchange for 1 copy of the character.

When will the highest-tier Characters drop :

Disclaimer : Character Tier-List are from the JP server, with manual battle and highly optimized teams in mind. They are tested against Enemies Event to measure up end-game damage. Do not assume that other Characters are not good enough to carry you thru the Story and Events, they are plenty sufficient for that.

Nonetheless, battles will become a lot easier if you get a hold of Yuta, Green!Gojo, Yellow!Nanami and the Headmasters as Support.

Going with that calendar in mind, you need to prioritize, because the game does not give you enough Crystal-Cubes to pull for 1 character per month, even less 2 of them in the same month.

Also, pulling the Limited-Edition Character on the Banner is not guaranteed. The only guaranteed way is to trade them for 250 gacha points.

At the moment, you can NOT gather gacha points from old banners and all your gacha points will be converted to Curse Energy Currency.

In the future, same as JP server, you will be able to use the orange Gacha Point Ticket to trade 20 gacha points into 10 reusable points for the future > it's a tradeable item to keep and reuse on other Banners, so only Gacha pulls done AFTER this feature is rolled-on will work.

If you have not yet spent the 16'000 Crystal-Cubes from the Game Launch, SAVE THEM NOW !

About Gacha Tickets & the Standard Banner :

You can NOT save Tickets and keep them for another banner, as most of them are only for the current Event. Check the little logo on them and spend them on the corresponding banner, or you will lose them.

The Tickets for the Standard Banner can be kept, so wait until you have 10 of them to pull together and get a guaranteed SR. On the Standard Banner, you can trade 200 gacha points for a SSR Ticket at the Shop.

About Characters Soul Shards / Duplicates :

You can trade for duplicates of Characters you already have at the Shop.

It starts by listing the Regular Banner SSR, then in JP server it extended to more regular story characters such as Green!Gojo and Yellow!Nanami for the 300-days anniversary. Since Soul Shards don't expire, you can save them until your preferred SSR is added to the Shop.

I recommend you do NOT use the universal Soul Gem (see item on the left of the screenshot) on characters who have their own nominative Soul Gems, because it's the only way to Awaken Limited-Edition Characters such as Yuta, Toji, the Headmasters, etc.

JJK Phantom Parade STARTING GUIDE "Shop & Limited Items"

CRYSTAL-CUBES & GACHA TICKETS :

Crystal-Cubes come in FREE version and PAID version, with the PAID Cubes allowing you 1 pull per day per banner for the cost of 100 Cubes instead of 300 free Cubes.

Gacha Tickets will automatically combine into bundles of 10 if you wait until you get 10 to pull on the banner. REMEMBER to use your Event Gacha Tickets on the Event Banner before it ends as you cannot keep them for the next Event.

SSR Tickets (either character or memory) will open a dedicated banner the moment you get them, and you pull / reroll from this banner.

All pulls give you pull-credits that can be exchanged at the Shop for the featured SSR memory (120 credits) , featured SSR character (250 credits).

The Standard Banner lets you purchase a SSR character ticket for 200 credits.

MOST VALUABLE ITEMS IN-GAME :

Phantom Seal (that looks like a shimmering rainbow Oscar statue, kinda) > extremely rare item (only got 2 after 1 year playing in JP version) that allows 1 character to limit-break for 10 levels extra.

SSR Tickets (purple-ish rainbow tickets) > rare item, purchasable by money once at game start, and then exchangeable once with Investigation Medals that allows you to get 1 SSR character or 1 SSR memory.

Monthly SSR Cursed Crystal (to level-up skills) and Monthly Gacha Tickets for the Standard Banners can be exchanged in limited-quantity each month for Investigation Medals.

CUMULATIVE VALUABLE ITEMS :

you have 3 categories of rainbow fragments that you can get in various activities / battle drops / Event rewards that will combine into a rare item once you have 10 of them (go to the Shop to combine them) : Cursed Crystals (used to level-up characters skills past lvl.8), Resonant Soul Gem (used to duplicate a SSR character you have), Memory Frame (used to duplicate a SSR memory you have). These fragment don't expire.

by exchanging Resonant Soul Gems of characters you have already max duplicates, you can get Soul Gem fragments, and buy SSR Soul Gems for 250 of them. These fragments don't expire, but you can only exchange for 2 Universal SSR Soul Gems (used for Event SSR characters, while you can buy as many Standard Banner SSR characters Soul Gems as you need).

by exchanging Memories you already have maxed, you get Memory Films (you can get them as Event rewards as well) that can be exchanged for Memory Frames at the Shop.

you can get Cursed Spirit Medals from Investigations drops and Events, and exchange them for 1500 for the SSR cards of the Cursed Spirits antagonists. At the moment in JP server, you can only get these three.

JJK Phantom Parade STARTING GUIDE "Rerolling & Best Starting Cards"

7th of November is almost here !!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU START PLAYING :

PLOT & LORE : everyone from JJK is alive and well !! the timeline of the game starts when Yuuji finds Sukuna's finger (and it's a speed up version of the story we all know) and it then moves onto brand-new original story arcs, featuring some canon schools and characters from Gege who were not featured in the manga or anime. In short, welcome to the filler Arcs ~

GAME SYSTEM : stamina-based, collectible cards, resources to level up, turn-by-turn fights, Main Story and time-limited Events.

REROLLING :

as we got 10million pre-registrations, everyone will get a redrawable SSR character ticket = you do NOT need to reroll your account to get your favourite character thanks to this ticket.

if you still want to reroll your account to get another SSR of your choice with the crystal-cubes you'll get at the start (around 2*10 gacha pulls) besides the one with the guaranteed ticket, you can easily reroll from the title-screen-menu >>> (1) Menu (2) Delete Player Data (3) restart game and go thru tutorials and gacha again.

if you plan to reroll your account, be careful NOT to link your socials / gmail / any external account to the game & do NOT buy crystal-cubes as the purchase will not refresh when you reroll, meaning you will lose the crystal-cubes you bought and used. Only link your socials & spend money in the game after you have gotten the rerolled account of your desires :3

BEST STARTING TEAM :

Focus on picking your favourites ! The game is not that hard, and you can easily make it thru with basic cards, especially at the beginning.

Yes, Gojo is the best (his 2 SSRs and his SSR Memory Recollections are best in class) BUT Gojo is a busy-busy my-pace teacher, and he will leave the fight after 7 rounds. Nothing you can do to keep him. Meaning having Gojo is not enough to carry you thru fights lasting for 3 waves of cursed monsters. You need other DPS to get you thru so don't focus only on duplicate cards of Gojo.

Don't forget about Elements / Colours either and try to pull for a varied team. Also remember that you can only have each character once in your team (meaning you can't make 2 Nobaras fight in the same team).

At early stage of the game, cards who can attack multiple enemies (such as SSR Megumi or SSR Maki) are very useful to harvest resources. But they will not make it to the best Tier List due to poor damage on cursed Bosses, so make your own judgement.

SSR Memories & Recollections are actually quite easy to get, especially with Events, so you might choose not to focus on them much.

Any SR character or memory with duplicates (and max level raised) will be more powerful than a single SSR, you can check the % of bonus stats to see this easily.

RECOMMENDED CARDS :

DPS / Damage : SSRs Gojo, Nobara, Yuuji, Inumaki

Support : SR Nanami, SR Yaga, SR Momo, SR Yuki, R Ijichi

Tank : SSR Panda, SR Miwa

Heal : SR Shoko
