I know you guys might not want to hear this, since I've been quiet for so long:

Last night I had to make a difficult decision with one of my budgies. After some x-rays revealed an ovarian tumour taking up about 50% of her lower body, and when it was made known medication might not even help her with any pain she may have, I had to say goodbye to Snowball.

I'm sad, and I need to focus on her mate. Thomas has been a little sad too, and I want to make sure he'll make it out of this okay.

That being said, I'm tired and heartbroken. I'm going to take a small break, but I'll probably come back when I get her ashes in a couple of weeks.

Thank you for checking in, it means a lot! I've been super busy and tired with my schooling but I'm so close to being finished (mid-May)! I may have a job already lined up too so as tiresome as things have been, they've been going more or less well for me!

I've also been indulging in art and fic ideas I'm too embarrassed to post here lol, so I haven't been making much in the way of content recently.
