Okay so funny story actually, this post is v old and I actually changed it so he is half Mi'kmaq and not Mohawk!!

This makes additional sense because the Mi'kmaq were actually present in areas the Vikings landed in, not to mention were later one of the first tribes to interact and cooperate with the French (which is a verrrrrryyyy complicated topic that I won't quite get into here) bonus fun fact: the Mi'kmaq also produced almost all Canadian hockey sticks until the trade was stolen from them in I believe the 70's

I will say this is also partially due to the fact that I myself have a lot more experience with maq culture than any other, having lived in Nova Scotia intermittently for most of my life. I personally still think Mohawk and Ojicree would also be cool representations but I also think that if you were to have a white father in that scenario it would make more sense historically for that father to be not a Viking and instead Irish or Scottish (or possibly french I suppose) but the connotations there get a lot more shady imo,,, but alas to make a proper mixed indigenous/white rep for Canada is really tough to do tastefully aaddssgvdgj

Haha yes he did! Bit of a cheeky joke on my behalf but he does have other scars too. He has a bullet wound underneath his commonwealth star tatt he got in Gallipoli and one on his shoulder underneath the sun looking thing from Vietnam!

Though i do like to joke he got shot in the ass in Gallipoli

I am SO glad youve asked!! Im trying to get back into the swing of art and have been planning to fkesh him out more so i have a few sketches onhand!

These are of him as a younger man! He was around 16 when he arrived back in Australia with the first fleet, and 17/18 while escaping from serving his sentence to become a bushranger. He later got caught, served a brief sentence and settled into a farm before the gold rush hit. Then he started bushranging again until things started slowing down in the late 1800s. Bad facial hair choices are a staple of his teenage years.... bogan lookin ass (i love him)

He's an absolute himbo at the best of times and a right dickhead at the worst.

i intend on drawing him (and some of my other characters more) but im always sketching and i just forget to post here unless im actually digitally rendering something ;; asks like this really help though!

A shameless redraw of a pretty famous pic from the emu war! Trevor was going through it mentally during/after wwi (having been a miscreant and bushranger most of his life he was forced very quickly to adapt to the role of soldier) so during the interwar period he was at a bit of a loss for what to do, no longer constrained to being on the outskirts of society but also suffering from war trauma ge ended up driving himself a bit crazy and waging a war on emus— yknow, to let off some steam... they beat his ass but shhh.

Him as a hobgoblin wildmagic sorcerer. (He has more barbarian vibes but it was a oneshot and hes chaotic enough for the wildmagic). Beefcake hobgoblin my beloved

Tbh i think england being blonde checks out for a couple reasons. The first being theres a lot of blondes in the UK, but also because Brythonic Celts often had blonde hair. The whole "red haired celts" thing was a lot more common in mainland europe, and red hair in the UK generally comes from viking influences. This being said, can never go wrong w brunette tbh brunettes are omnipresent and hetalia needs more of them.
