Graffiti and Spray Paint being the only graffiti artists in crossroads dont make sense to me. Do you guys have any idea how much time would that make? PLUS IF TWO PEOPLE MADE THEM THEY WOULD GET CLEANED BEFORE ANOTHER ONE COULD HAVE BEEN MADE.

and also if they are rivals they would have painted over eachothers work. im still researching graffiti culture but yeah this makes me slightly angry. Because this feels like a missed oppurtunity to show their relationship in-game. ANYWAY sorry for getting angry over something this small, i just think the graffiti in this game has great storytelling potential and its not used properly.

and how the hell would two people paint a whole city.

Shipping (to a degree) kind of ruins the fandom for me.

Ok, but why the hell can I find ABSOLUTELY NOTHING when I try to find the Phighters having platonic relationships. You CANNOT go ANYWHERE related to the Phighting fandom without 500 ships EVERYWHERE and I am so goddamn sick of seeing it.

I’ve slowly started to fizzle out of the Phighting fandom because I can’t find any good content outside of the game which isn’t just shipping.

People seem to physically lack the ability to make the characters interact in a non romantic manner.

Oh and you know how there aren't many phighting x reader writers? Apparently there's a group of people who??? replace the reader with a different character so it's as if they're reading a ship fanfic???? Broski there are a trillion of phighting ship fanfics out there you're NOT starving. I would say it doesn't effect me that much but it really does because I really wanted to start writing for my fellow yumes, I don't think I will after learning that though.

Ok ngl I don’t necessarily mind some of the phighters getting darker skin tones after release. I don’t think that Skateboard needed this change though. I think that him being tanned was neat. I will be fine if it’s just making that tan more noticeable than I don’t mind.

However I wish all of the characters will get a touch ups and there will be a range of tones. I do hope that we do get more darker skinned phighters down the line. But I don’t think we’re getting another phighter for a while.

slingshot needs a fucking buff or a whole ass moveset rework like. i can barely get kills and for gods fucking sake my personality is being reckless and whenever i charge into battle as him i end up dying or barely getting out of there alive. like this guy is almost useless for conquer bc his shots deal little damage. please like bro its only the phinisher thats actually easy to gain kills with and it has that long shitass charge and his charged shots take just a moment too long and you have to basically memorise timing just to land a charged shot from a distance. please i want this guy to get a fucking moveset update

As someone who used to main Slingshot before they murdered his old move set I kinda agree.

His whole thing is that he’s a low-damage pest with lots of mobility but I’m pretty sure one or two of his moves (last I played the game, it’s been a bit so idk) either slow him down or hold him in place while not being very rewarding at all.

I went looking for some bantana food earlier today and I saw someone turn it into a straight ship by making katana a woman. It didn’t even look like katana besides the name and horns (basic hot girl design, hourglass figure). It frightened me.

Soda is WEAK. Honest to GOD she should just straight up say it if a ship is problematic. I have been in many fandoms, and for some reason ships that have HEAVILY similar dynamic to subkit are deemed to be proships by the fandoms, and yet this fandom doesn't??? Despite being warned multiple times how subspace is awful towards medkit??????

I just joined the fandom (a month ago! I'm still figuring out some lore, so correct me if I'm wrong please.) and from what I understand, Subspace had hurt many people other than Medkit, Medkit was just the only one who defended himself. I also have some screenshots of wikipedia mods (who seem to be in contact with soda a lot) also confirmed that Subspace did abuse Medkit, and yet this fandom finds it ridiculous??? For some reason??????

My take is that, well, Soda is weak. In general when it comes to confirming information to the fandom....why else would there be a whole different account dedicated to new information about phighting on twitter? I really think she would say it's not really okay to ship subkit but given how big and sensitive the fandom is, she just chooses not to. How do you not notice the way she was so hesitant to say it's okay to ship them? I would understand the ship dynamic if this was the silly pre-rewrite subspace, but this is rewrite subspace we're talking about and he doesn't seem as silly and goofy as pre-rewrite subspace. With his newer dialogue, it seems he's intending to make Medkit suffer. Not in a "toxic yaoi" way.

If the devs ever decide to reveal the full and clear story between these two, I will not be surprised if a huge "is it proship or not?" war starts. Despite saying multiple times that it's not, there are many hints that it is.

For short: Soda doesn't want to announce that subkit is proship because she maybe fears the way the fandom will react and judge the dev team even more than before, due to how the fandom is big and sensitive.

(I love analysing fandoms if you can't tell. I hate when people say all fandoms are similar when it's really not.)

Now that you point it out, yeah, the fandom is kind of sensitive. Maybe we should collectively stop caring what the fandom thinks as much when they blow up over the tiniest thing.
