subspace headcanon dump!!! I love makin this man suffer -subspace implimenting a voice changer-esque thing in his gas mask so he sounds more menacing and a little more artificial-y.

-he also imagines himself as one of the most well-known scientists in Blackrock and one of the most famous people but if he's walking on the street people barely notice him.

-either homophobic as fuck or the zestiest man alive.

-advertises the Biografts as being able to do your household chores as well as being a sort of bodyguard Alternatively, he keeps Biografts in his lab to do things for him when he's busy with research (alternates between researching a cure for his own poison and torture methods)

-his spotify playlist is 10 hours long and consists of hard rock and screams of terror.

-he has severe lung and vocal cord damage from his younger years as a scientist, as he was exposed to toxic fumes from his experiments and it gave him long-term health problems. He cannot yell too loud or overexert himself, or else he'll start a severe coughing fit.

Not a hot take, but I’ve recently discovered that apparently there’s a lot of people in the Phighting fanbase who haven’t played the game at all, which explains literally EVERY WEIRD SHIP.

No WONDER some of you are kooky, some of you don’t even know what you’re talking about when you talk about the characters!

If you’re going to be part of the fanbase and not even play the game, maybe at least do your research on the characters, (dialogue included it’s literally available on the wiki), before doing anything crazy.

Okay you know what I NEED to use my newfound power as a Phighting blog to answer the question I’ve been rotating in my brain:

Tbh I’m a bit annoyed with the direction Phighting is going with gender and pronouns and stuff.

I was fine with the agender thing because it kind of makes sense: they’re created from the spawn and the spawn is their only method of reproduction, so gender being practically nonexistent for demons makes sense in that case, if you get the general gist of what I’m trying to say.

But giving the characters preferred pronouns… and then making them canonically not really do pronouns… whar???? If they go by ANY PRONOUNS, then WHAT’S THE POINT OF GIVING THEM A SPECIFIC SET OF PRONOUNS?????????

To me this feels like either A: a desperate attempt to stop pronoun headcanon discourse (it’s not working), or B: a desperate attempt to appease the fans upset about the lack of feminine Phighters (the 20+ he/him characters says it all).

In simple words I recognize that they’ve made a new addition to the lore, but given that it’s a stupid and pointless addition, I’ve elected to ignore it.

Also for the Bath thing Yes there is a city in england called bath It was named after all the public bathhouses the romans built there while they were occupying britain

It gives medkit vibes to me cos a lot of the residential buildings there are fancy old georgian style sandstone ones from the georgian era And sword vibes because of the roman bathhouses as i personally associate sword with roman centurions and eagles, which were an important symbol in rome due to them being the sacred animal of jupiter, the king of the gods. They carried golden eagles on poles into battle That’s how import eagles were to romans (they’re called the legions’ military standards)

And also I don’t think depicting most Phighters as being aroace is that inaccurate, since last I recall it’s apparently very rare for demons in Phighting to actually form any kind of romantic relationship, probably because 1. They’d rather not sacrifice their gear just to have a kid, and 2. Demons as a species are described to be pretty violent in nature (last I checked) and are probably too busy beating each other up to care about romance.
