I've watched Dune Part 2 for the 3rd time today. And I ship Gurney with Stilgar.
Listen!
Gurney got saved by Leto, we all know this. And he felt something for the first time he never felt before. It confused him, sure. But over time, he figured it out. Gurney knew he could NEVER be with Leto, tho. He confessed, in a drunken state, his love for him and Leto said: "Thank you for your honesty. And I will give you mine. I don't feel the same way about you. I am glad to have you as my loyal friend by my side. But nothing more. I am sorry, dear friend."
Gurney was heartbroken, but he knew from the beginning that he could never be closer to Leto Atreides. Still, he tried.
He stayed loyal.
Then came Stilgar, the Fremen. Harsh. Rude. Dirty. The complete opposite of Leto. Gurney hated the Fremen man. He was hostile when Stilgar spat at the ground before Leto. And still when he was found by Paul after the Harkonnen Massacre. But over time, I feel like, he warmed up to the harsh and rude side of Stilgar and also got a look at the friendly and funny side of him. I feel like they get pretty close, but Gurney sees a "wilder version" of Leto in Stilgar.
That hurts Stilgar.
There is so much hurt, angst and love I could work with, urg! I love those stupid old men. And the chemistry between Josh and Javier behind the scenes helps a lot.

HAPPY POKÉMON DAY!!
Eventho the day is nearly over, I still wanted to sketch something for today.
I grew up with Pokémon, my first game was Pokémon Pearl. The Company has its bad sides, I know.
But POKÉMON is what keeps me alive. It's nearly the only thing left from my childhood that still makes me happy.

Regaelus' Revelation is forbidden magic, which reveals the darkest parts of an human soul. Solely those strong enough survive this but gain a beastly form which can neither be controlled nor "removed". Only a hand full of people accomplished to control their beast, even if it's just a bit.
