Elphias Doge ► Pureblood ► 48 ► Order ► Woody Harrelson ► Open

Half of my heart is a shotgun wedding to a bride with a paper ring, and half of my heart is the part of a man who's never truly loved anything.

► Early Life:

If there is one word that describes Elphias' childhood it would be crappy. He was poor, very poor, like lived in a shack and worked really hard to manage to get food poor and just like every stereotype his dad was a drunk. Though he was not the beat your kids kind of drunk, he was just the kind that turned into a lump and did nothing. His mother was an overstretched woman trying to work hard to provide for the family and care for him. He was an only child and from a young age found it easier to just stay out of the house as often as possible, but he had a hard time making friends so he was alone more often than not. Going off to Hogwarts was a blessing for him, and the small sum that the school provided for it's poorer students and muggleborns to buy books was a godsend to his family meaning he often had fewer and much worse quality books but more food on the table.

► Hogwarts Life:

Elphias continued his distance from humanity at Hogwarts finding it hard to make friends often and not really being very good at talking. He didn't know how to live in the castle and early in his first year he was completely marked apart. He caught dragonpox the summer before his first year. He managed to live through it but at school he still had the marks even if he was not contagious it still gave him marked skin with a greenish hue. Most students were afraid of that coloring and the strangeness and kept their distance making his spend most of his time with Professor Dumbeldore, whom was a teacher at the time and whom Elphias got along with well. As the years went on it cleared up and he was a handsome boy but he never forgot the distance the other students gave him thus never connected whit them keeping Albus Dumbledore his only friend, though they did get on very well for someone who was significantly older than he was. All through school instead of making friends, he worked hard in classes graduating as the top student of his class.

► Adult Life:

Even before graduating Elphias was offered an internship at the ministry which he gladly accepted. He knew that was the place to make money and he swore to himself he would never be poor again. He worked hard making his way up quickly in the ranks and making no friends as he gained power. He kept his companionship with Dumbledore and kept on pleasant enough terms with people around him but never truly made connections. In the first war he was in the order because he knew what a change like that and a society like that would be for the outcasts and no matter what he was still and outcast.

After working on the Wizengamot and helping condemn many evil wizards he continued his work in the Ministry in an office of power and moderate to high comfort. He had plenty of food and hardly had to go without and enjoyed his life and recently purchased a nice house in Hogsmeade, preferring the feel of the small town even with the long commute. 

► Personality:

Elphias isn't very good at connecting to most people. He isn't a trusting man and he prefers to keep a distance than to get himself hurt. When he does make a friend however he is a very loyal and strong friend who would do anything for them. He has a strong sense of justice and will to fight for what is right and secretly, hidden away far from anyone's eyes, he has a soft spot for outcasts and anything that seems defenseless and needing of his protection. He likes to protect the weak and help the helpless, it makes him feel useful and important and for him that is a rare feeling.

Gavin Cresswell ► Muggleborn ► 38 ► Neutral ► Sean Maguire ► Taken

Cause I know it’s just a game, but I’m playing it too and, I won’t forget from where I came, but it’s time to take over, oh yeah.

► Early Life:

While Gavin had had a fairly average childhood, he was about five years old when he started to show signs of magic. For most of his life he marked them down to sheer coincidences, as did his parents.

Gavin’s parents were caring and kind, although they hadn’t had much money. They cared about him, though, and wanted the best for him. They spent most of their lives working hard to give Gavin the best, and were honestly happy for him when they learned that he was a wizard, working as much as they could and barely scraping by to afford Hogwarts for him. 

► Hogwarts Life:

While he was a nice boy, Gavin was shy when he got to Hogwarts. He didn’t know much about magic and wasn’t sure what he was doing, so he kept quiet. He was put in the Hufflepuff house and did well in school, but stayed average. One person, though, stood out- Hestia Jones. She was another student in his house and was sweet, and interested him, but he stayed quiet. 

► Adult Life:

Soon after he left school, more and more people were talking about the war that was coming, but Gavin chose not to join in on the fighting. He wanted to keep peaceful and not get involved, especially because he was a muggleborn and worried that pushing the fighting would put him in more danger. He started working as a writer, travelling around and trying to write about history in the wizarding world while keeping in contact with a few friends from school.

After some ten years travelling, Gavin came back to London to find that the wizards were back to fighting. He spent most of his time working in and out of the ministry, writing, focussing on potions and animals in the wizarding world. 

► Personality:

While Gavin was shy and awkward as a child, he grew more into his personality and being a prouder person. He was more secure in himself when he was grown up, but still had some of the same insecurities deep down that he had as a child.

Leroy Crabbe ► Pureblood ► 42 ► Death Eater ► Jason Segal ► Open

Load up on guns, bring your friends. It's fun to lose and to pretend.

► Early Life:

Leroy, as a kid, wasn't very controllable. He liked to do whatever he wanted and didn't follow rules, something that often got him in trouble. His parents didn't care much- his mother died when he was little and his father, though not a very hands-on parent, didn't much care when he got in trouble.

This led to Leroy becoming a bit of a bully with other kids he knew. He played with the children of other wizarding families, the Black family especially, and liked to make fun of others. He was able to get away with it easily, though, usually by blaming someone else or being clever enough to outwit them. 

► Hogwarts Life:

Quickly sorted into Slytherin, Leroy's teachers tried to make him follow rules and be obedient. He mostly tended to talk back and be cruel, but people got used to it and it gave him power in his years at school. While there he met an innocent Ravenclaw girl named Charlotte, a shy girl who fell for him despite being mean to most people. He showed her more of him than he did most people, although the weakness of caring about someone, especially a girl who he considered a blood-traitor, made him unhappy. 

► Adult Life:

Charlotte and Leroy married quickly out of school and wanted children, although his friends from school wanted Leroy to join the growing Death Eaters. Charlotte was unhappy with him because she didn't like that he was cruel- she wanted him to be a good man. The two of them fought often. A few years after marriage, Charlotte was pregnant and they were both ecstatic, but Leroy, behind her back, took the Dark Mark. Charlotte was upset with him, because he was being dark and hurting people and she worried he would get hurt himself. Towards the end of the war they had their son, Vincent Crabbe, when Leroy was questioned about the Death Eaters. He claimed to have been under the Imperious Curse and walked free, but just afterward Charlotte decided she was tired of dealing with his darkness and left him, with their son. Since then, Leroy hasn't been involved with the Death Eaters, but he regrouped with them when Voldemort rose again. 

► Personality:

Leroy often tries to fight his demons, the darkness inside of him, but turns back to it often. He enjoys hurting people and the power being a Death Eater gives him, but it also cost him Charlotte and he regrets that, not to mention feels guilty because his son is leading into a life similar to the one he led.

► Early Life:

The Puddifoots were rather well off when it came to money. They had one daughter and they spoiled her to death. She had the best clothes and shoes and everything. Sure her father was a business man that always worked and her mother was always just a little distant preferring to shop and go out with friends than care for the young girl, but other than that she could have anything she wanted. She was never really a brat though. She was cared for by a nanny that taught her how to be a wonderful and graceful witch and always told her stories of true love.

► Hogwarts Life:

Puddifoot was popular at Hogwarts, incredibly so. She was a sweet girl with lots of money and a bright smile so making friends was easy. She was popular and pretty and warm and kind and she always took care of her friends. She dated around a bit never really being too comfortable in one single relationship but enjoying the ones she had. She always wished there was a better place to date at Hogwarts though as nothing was quite romantic enough for her.

► Adult Life:

In the first war Puddifoot was just graduated from Hogwarts. She never took place in the war but that didn’t mean she was unaffected. She was not a muggleborn so she’d assumed no one would come after her or her family. She kept to herself setting up a teashop in Hogsmeade in a little shop her parents had purchased her for graduation and let her have her dream. It was easy to get business as the only teas hop in the town and she marketed it as a place to bring dates and made sure it was cozy and romantic.

Everything in her life was great until her parents were in the wrong place at the wrong time. One night near the end of the war her parents were in Daigon Alley one night having their first night together in a long time and were caught in a Death Eater raid. The next day Puddifoot was called and informed they were dead. She spent the next months trying to figure out how to care for the family businesses and straightening out affairs. Her place of safety was her tea shop where she could revel in the love around her.

► Personality:

Puddifoot is a sweet and optimistic woman. She tends to be very dream like. She spend a lot of her time in as optimistic a state as possible and does not enjoy being taken from it. She is warm and neutering and mothering and very much enjoys love. She surrounds herself with it and tries to encourage it where she finds it. She's an energetic woman and full of life and the enjoyment of it and while she doesn't enjoy confrontation and won't seek it out she won't back down from it either.

Dorcas Meadows ► Half-Blood ► 30 ► Order ► Sandra Bullock ► Open

► Early Life:

Daughter of a muggle and a male Death Eater, Dorcas's life hadn't been easy. She hadn't known her mother- the relationship between her parents hadn't gone on for long, and she'd died in childbirth. Dorcas's father was Gibbon, a cruel Death Eater who didn't spend much time with her. She was kind and good, qualities from her mother that her father despised. They hadn't been close.

Although Dorcas was kind compared to her father, she was far from perfect. She could be rude sometimes without thinking about it, but would immediately apologize- she was very defensive and easily hurt.

► Hogwarts Life:

At Hogwarts, many people were surprised that she was sorted into Hufflepuff. Although the stories of the Death Eaters were often kept secret, or they tried to, many people knew of her father. She was at Hogwarts when she heard of his death, and was fourteen. She had nowhere to go, but under Dumbledore's ruling, she was taken care of by the head of her house, Pomona Sprout. The teachers at Hogwarts groomed her to be a good person and help instead of dark like her father.

► Adult Life:

At her graduation, Dorcas immediately tracked down records of her mother and found out that her last name had been Meadowes, changing her own to that and trying to leave her father in the past. Although few people trusted her, she joined the Order of the Phoenix. Sirius Black and Andromeda Tonks helped to vouch for her, but many didn't think a Death Eater's daughter who they didn't know could be trusted. She earned their trust, though, by going into harms way for them and fighting Death Eaters.

Towards the end of the war, she was fighting in a battle with a close friend, Marlene McKinnon, when they encountered Voldemort himself. Dorcas was a strong witch and could defend herself, but he had her cornered and fired a killing curse at her, only to have Marlene take it instead, leaving her friend dead and Dorcas alive.

► Personality:

Although given her lineage Dorcas is kind, she often isn't truly. She sometimes will say rude things without meaning to and hurts others, but she isn't honestly cruel. Her maternal half makes her a kind and good person, but there is still her paternal side that can be cruel and dark inside.

Filius Flitwick ► Half-Blood ► 42 ► Order ► Jeremy Renner ► Open

► Early Life:

Both of Filius's parents were wizards, and his great-grandfather was a goblin. He prided himself on being kind and smart, and keeping in mind that he was part goblin. His family was high-up as purebloods, but they were good people and gentle.

Filius himself liked to help others. He was big on always doing the right thing and offering a helping hand, though it was also important to him to be smart, two things that were often at war with each other.

► Hogwarts Life:

At Hogwarts, Filius was quickly sorted into Ravenclaw, although the sorting hat nearly placed him in Gryffindor. He focused on studies rather than friends, but got along well with most everyone, although sometimes people made fun of his half-goblin status. He did well in his OWLs and NEWTs, excelling in school. He became a master duelist, but his favorite class was always charms.

► Adult Life:

After Hogwarts, Filius spent time working hard and being more advanced in his studies. Finally, he left those studies and started working at Hogwarts, becoming its charms professor. He was soon on made head of Ravenclaw house as well. Filius's teaching style was more laid-back than some, but he did well and his class was well-liked.

Filius was always more laid-back, especially when it came to the war. He was considered an ally to the Order, but didn't enjoy fighting, instead being more passive.

► Personality:

As a person, Filius was always kind and gentle. he didn't like hurting others. He was fun and enjoyed life, but was often more or less emotional as well. He, however, was an all-around gentle soul.

Charity Burbage ► Half-Blood ► 36 ► Neutral ► Scarlett Johansson ► Open

► Early Life:

Charity was born to a muggle father and witch mother. Her mother was distant- she had kept the fact that she was a witch a secret for years, from both Charity and her father, but at eleven years old she found out that she was a witch. She had always been closer with her father, though- he was a good man who was always protective and cared for her.

She grew up going to a muggle school and understanding all muggle ways, and knew very little about the wizarding world. Soon after she started at Hogwarts, her parents divorced because her mother had kept it a secret for years.

► Hogwarts Life:

At Hogwarts, Charity liked her life. She was happy- she liked being a witch, but she still loved her father and wanted to stay with the muggle world in part. She started to take muggle studies, and found that she excelled in it. She was in Ravenclaw and so excelled in her studies, honestly enjoying school. She made friends easily, although she was bullied because she was so involved with muggles and was a half-blood.

► Adult Life:

After a few years trying to find what she wanted to do in the muggle world, Charity returned to Hogwarts and was offered work there as the muggle studies teacher. She took the job happily, working alongside other teachers at Hogwarts. Although her work was called a 'soft-option' by students and teachers alike, Charity made sure that the students who took her class did well and focused in class.

► Personality:

Charity was always a determined and kind person. She liked making others happy, and the only negative thought she had was that her mother wasn't very kind- she was always a bit bitter because of the secret kept in her family.

Anastasia Travers ► Pureblood ► 28 ► Death Eater ► Kat Dennings ► Open

If it were anybody else but you, I would not be afraid. A total calamity, the choices I have made.

► Early Life:

Anastasia wasn't born into the purebrood, Slytherin life immediately. She was from a kind wizarding family, entirely made up of purebloods. They were, however, all kind people who didn't have a cruel bone in their bodies. Anastasia, however, was not like them. She was mean and arrogant and cruel to others, something that her family tried to take in but eventually they gave up, more out of fear of her than anything else.

Anastasia grew into a bratty little girl who managed to manipulate her way out of or into anything. She secretly felt bad for her family, who got a daughter who was cruel, but she fought off that feeling, choosing instead to embrace her personality.

► Hogwarts Life:

Getting to Hogwarts, Anastasia hoped that she would meet other children like her- and she was right. She met students like Leroy Crabb and Lucius Malfoy, and was soon sorted into Slytherin. She began playing pranks, but she was a smart and clever girl. However, she tended to bully others, and was never caught.

► Adult Life:

Soon after she graduated, Anastasia's family was killed in an accidental train crash. People suspected that it was no accident, but that was never confirmed. Soon after their death, Anastasia was taken in by some of her old Slytherin friends and they instituted her into the Death Eaters. Anastasia got a sick enjoyment from working with the Dark Lord, and soon she turned truly dark, going as far as killing an entire family, the McKinnon family, and getting sent to Azkaban.

In Azkaban, Travers nearly went mad. Her life was horrid there, and she screamed every night, feeling the terror because she blamed herself for the death of her family. Anastasia eventually broke out of Azkaban in the mass breakout of 1996, and has since rejoined Death Eater ranks.

► Personality:

Anastasia always hated muggleborn wizards, because her family had been sympathetic to them. However, she made sure that she proved to people that she wasn't like them, and was cruel. Deep down she is afraid there is weakness and a kindness that isn't expected of Death Eaters inside of her, but so far, she hasn't shown any sign of it.
