Which HP death affected you the most?

For me there are looads I mean I can't decide

It changes often

But right now I HATE JKR FOR KILLING SIRIUS

I mean come onnnn

When he was small all his family hammered all the blood purity crap into his head or at least tried to

But he had zero bigotry

I mean at 12 years of age he discovered his best friend was a werewolf and he( and the others too ofc) comforted him and helped him instead of being scared and ostracizing him pr telling tales- they thought of the other person rather than themselves!

And his family HATED him, maybe not as much as the Dursleys hated Harry - in the sense I don't think they starved him when he was 6 or anything but I'm 100% sure ever since he was sorted into Gryffindor, they were no better than the Dursleys.

Imagine your own mother telling you she wished you'd never been born!

He had no more family than Harry did

But like Harry he did have his friends, who were his first real family, you know?

The Marauders - I guess each of the 4 of them was equally grateful for the other three

I think they were all brothers - but James and Sirius were closer, they were twins

And everyone could see that, but Remus was not jealous, it was just one of those things

And yes they were arrogant and vain when they were 15ish but their heart was ALWAYS in the right place, and they did grow out of it soon enough, so that is very forgivable

Not to mention they were hot ( except Peter)

Sirius was (in my head) like really really really hot. James was really really hot and Remus was only really hot, but still hotter than all the other guys at school

But that's not the point

I also think Sirius was almost as happy as James when Lily finally started going out with him, and that eventually she was also a part of Sirius's family, because 1.lily was freaking awesome who wouldn't love her? 2.she was that impt to James

Soo what with family hatred and the war which affected the whole country their wedding was probably one of Sirius's happiest memories

And when Harry was born he must've been beyond elated to be named his godfather - it officially gave him a family

And I'm sure ever since then he loved Harry more than he loved James, too

( and though i LOVE wolfstar fanfics I love Remus and Tonks more so no to me Sirius was not gay)

And then he realised that they were marked to be killed and maybe he knew Snape told Voldy

And the night they died

I mean

Shit

His best friend in the whole wide world and Lily who was like a sister to him were dead

His godson was orphaned and probably in grave grave danger

His other best friend Remus thought HE had brtrayed them and probably hated him

And Peter the rat who had actually betrayed them

In one night he lost evrything, everyone

Plus he was arrested so he couldn't even look after Harry

He lived with the knowledge of two of his friends' deaths

And that one of his and their closest friends had in facy betrayed James and Lily ans little Harry and he probably felt guilty because he had convinced them to switch Secret Keeper to Wormtail so he'd have blamed himself for all of it

And he lived knowing that his only friend left, Remus def blamed him too

And that Harry would probably think that of him when he grew older

He lived with that knowledge for 14 years.

And when he escaped

Harry and Remus did realise hisninnocence and he was able to spend a few days with them

But he was never able tp officially clear his name though it was probably the last thing on his mind

Voldemort who killed his best friends and tried to kill his godson was still alive and fighting and killing and he couldn't do anything to stop the person who had taken everything away from him ( because he wasnt allowed to leave the HQ)

AND THEN HE FUCKING DIED HE DIED BEFORE HE COULD MAKE THE WORLD SAFE FOR HARRY AND REMUS AND HE LIVED THE LAST YEAR OF HIS LIFE IN THAT HORRIBLE HOUSE WHICH HAD ONLY GIVEN HIM A HORRIBLE TIME AND HE WAS THE ADVENTUROUS BRAVE KIND SO HE'D HAVE WANTED TO BE THERE IN THE BATTLE OF HOGWARTS AND FIGHT AND LIVE WITH HARRY AND REMUS HIS FAMILY AFTER IT WAS ALL OVER BUT NO *JKR KILLED HIM I HATE HER*

we’ve taught girls to romanticise nearly everything a boy does. when i was younger i thought it was cute that boys chased the girl even after she said no. i loved it when after a girl moved away from a kiss, the guy would pull her back and force it on. i thought a guy saying ‘i won’t take a no for an answer’ was passionate and romantic. we’re literally always teaching girls to romanticise abusive traits.
