Unfortunately, I am hereby giving up on shifting for the foreseeable future. I won't stop believing in it and I hope that others can get there.
It just wasn't in the cards for me...

MCU DR Black Widow Variant - Moodboard

I don't really have much for this DR besides being Natasha's silly little girl.

(This is a part 2 to this story)
Summary: You can't be with Wanda today, so you go home. But your girlfriend (poly) is there with her boyfriend, so you spend some time in the attic.
Word count: 900
CW: angst/vent, cheating, depression
(I'm still not used to posting stories, so please forgive me if it's not great)
~~~
Rain pattered gently on the windshield of Wanda's car, the slight drizzle mirrored the chaos in your mind. She would be busy today, so Wanda drove you back home before going about her day. Last night was a good distraction, but, it didn't last nearly long enough.
Your house finally came into view and you quickly grabbed Wanda's free hand. Sensing your unease, she gave your hand a reassuring squeeze. You gazed intensely at your own home while your stomach did somersaults, anxious about what you might find inside.
"Just..try to get through the day," Wanda spoke gently. "If you need to..you can come back tomorrow. Ok?"
You gave her a slow nod, hesitantly getting out of the car. The door swung closed with a light slam and you began the trek inside. Wanda began pulling out of the driveway and you glanced back to see her driving away. You would be without her for a day..just a day.
Things were quiet in the house, a little too quiet. But, it was the weekend and you knew they were. Finally, you heard the noise that always made your stomach turn. That loving giggle from your girlfriend, the giggle that she rarely used around you.
They were in the livingroom, cuddled together on the couch like two giddy lovebirds. She was there with her boyfriend, cuddling and laughing like you used to do.
She hardly even noticed you walk passed, your feet padding silently on the hallway floor. As chaotic as your thoughts were, you managed to get through the house without any confrontation. They were still on the couch and you had gone up to the attic. You had turned the space into your own little safe haven. A place in the house where your girlfriend knows to leave you alone, and her boyfriend never dared to go near.
"Wanda may be gone for the day, but I can get through this. I think," you muttered quietly to yourself.
The attic was dimly lit with a series of string lights that you put up a few months ago. You laid down on the mattress by the window, taking a deep breath to settle your nerves. Your girlfriend always tries to convey her love for you, but it's always hard to believe when her attention is divided so much.
When the relationship started, you were happy being monogamous. It was you two against the world, especially since you had left your toxic family and cut off all contact.
You thought about them sometimes, but those brides were burned to the ground. And nothing they did, no amount of self improvement would erase the damage they caused.
Your girlfriend had become your safety, your home. But, it didn't feel like that anymore. Ever since she came out as poly and started bringing her boyfriend home, things were different. You hated sharing the space, especially with a man. It was strange and made your home feel unsafe, like the blanket you had covered yourself with was torn away.
So, you come up to the attic to get away. Spending your downtime in the space you created for yourself.
The sound of her laughter managed to reach the attic and it made your heart squeeze. It had become so difficult, those noises used to make you so happy. But, now he was making her laugh. And you could hardly stand it, as much as you hated to admit it, you had started to resent her. Everything she did seemed to get on your nerves and it broke your heart.
What made it worse was how oblivious she was to it. She was so enamored with him that she had no clue how much you were hurting.
You reached for your headphones and put them on, the noises of the outside world gently faded away. With your laptop open, you began listening to your comfort playlist, hoping the music could help to distract from your thoughts.
The hours seemed to blend together, everything blurring as you had dozed off. By the time you finally woke up, it was early in the morning. Looking out the small window, you could see the sun had barely lifted passed the horizon.
"Well..at least it's-"
Your words died off as the rumble in your stomach moved through your body. In all your misery, you had forgotten to eat.
The house was quiet, your gaze drifting around to see if they were awake. You silently opened the door to the bedroom, they were asleep together. A wave of heat shot through you, anger rising in your chest. He was sleeping with your girlfriend, in your bed.
The anger faded and made way for an emotionless numb feeling. A deep sigh fell from your lips and you closed the door again.
The kitchen was illuminated with the light above the stove, it was always on in case someone needed to eat during the night. You glanced through the cupboards and fridge, noticing how your girlfriend barely made an effort to get your favourites anymore.
You made a sandwich, placing it in a paper bag along with a couple snacks and a bottle of water. It was still early but you had no plan to stick around. As soon as there was enough light to see, you left the house and began walking into the city.
"Now, I just have to get back to Wanda.."
Little/Caregiver DR - moodboard
Honestly one of my favorite DR's. No powers, no danger. Just being taken care of by mama Wanda.
SHIFTING TIPS (part idk which)
just don't stop yapping.
you're probably wondering what that means and how does it even make sense and that's okay. I want you to actually realize how easy shifting is, all you have to do is just WANT to be there. that's it all. all methods you see online, all the different ways to shift are just different ways to express you wanting something. it's simple law of assumption, if you live in the 4D it will manifest instantly as long as that's your belief. here comes the "don't stop yapping" part. when trying to shift and your brain has a doubt, just keep talking (in this case thinking). "hey so you can't shift." "stfu im in my dr look at how good it feels to be in my dr" "shifting takes more time than just 5 minutes" "it takes 1 second its literally so easy im already there" ...(etc etc) see? just shut off your brain entirely, keep talking to yourself as if you're already in your DR, as if you already shifted. this can work as a "method" by itself, this can also be applied to any method. don't let your doubts control you, just don't stop talking and I guarantee you will reach your goal. that's the reason why "ignoring the 3D" and "not being desperate for results" work, because that's another way of not allowing your brain to talk about it. that's how your desires manifest, you're the only thing stopping yourself from having what you want and you can change that without having to do anything but just talk.
MCU / Once Upon a Time DR - Moodboard
I started writing my own fairytale for it, but it's far from complete. I'm a dragon sort of like Maleficent, and my s/o is the "merlin" Wanda from the What If.. series.
hi shifters. let me explain to you why you don’t need to read through your script every time you feel like you’ve forgotten certain things ˘³˘
imagine you want to watch a movie you haven’t seen in a while. do you remember every single detail of it? most likely no. do you look up the entire plot, scene by scene and the smallest details before watching it? again, no. you just press play and enjoy your movie. do you see where i’m going with this?
another example: imagine you’re going on a vacation to a place you’ve never been to before. you might check out a few pictures, but you’re not stressing about every detail because you already know that’s not something you need to worry about.
your script works the same way.
just because you, what it feels like, have ‘forgotten’ your script does not mean your reality will be out of place. you once got your ideas about your reality and that’s enough. they’re stored in your mind. you literally already know what you want, whether you remember them consciously or not. yay!
so, next time you feel like you need to read your script, ask yourself if you genuinely want to read it, or if you’re just doing it as a chore. sometimes i catch myself getting bored reading my script and that’s honestly just because i’m already so extremely familiar with it. it’s basically as if i were to read things about this reality over and over again. that would be boring right!?
i should also mention that whenever i come across something i thought i had ‘forgotten’, i instantly recognize it when i read it again. i’m not reacting to it as if it’s a brand new thing, it was simply just stored in my subconscious. i knew about it this whole time, and so do you with your script!
anyway, hopefully this knocked some sense into you ✨✨✨
I usually post shifting content, but I wanted to give writing a try. And I fully expect this to not reach anyone. I haven't written anything in years, even longer since sharing it with anyone.
Word count: 800
Tw: venting, implied cheating, polyamory, sapphic relationship, light smut, light angst
(Again, haven't done this in a long time)
~~~
The door swung open and you followed Wanda into her apartment, keeping your head low to avoid her direct attention. This was the third time in two weeks you had showed up, waiting at her door for her to get off work.
"So..what is it now? Another argument?" She muttered, in step behind you.
Wanda dropped her keys into the bowl, her gaze never leaving you as you dropped into a pile on the couch. The tension in the air was palpable and you pulled your legs close to your chest before finally meeting her gaze.
Your head bobbed slightly in a quiet confirmation. Wanda had a vague idea about your situation at home but you hated talking about it. Opting to get right to business.
"She has him at the house again. I always get so uncomfortable when he's there.." your voice coming out as a whisper.
Your relationship was complicated and she knew that, so Wanda did her best to be there for you. Offering a safe haven when things became too much at home. Wanda had met your girlfriend a couple times and she seemed nice, if a bit ignorant.
"Well, you're here now, my love. And you have my attention, ok?" Her words spoken with patience and care.
A slight hesitation passed before you were in her lap, her arms wrapped gently around you. Wanda rubbed light circles on your back, quietly whispering reassurances into your ear. Her hands gripped under your legs and carried you into the kitchen, your body a koala in her arms. The cold of the counter seeping into your ass when she set you down. With a slight chuckle, she began making tea for you both.
The setting sun filled the kitchen with a gradient of warm hues, illuminating her in the most perfect way. She knew your gaze was on her, but she paid you no mind. The way she moved around the kitchen was an amazing sight, your gaze following her every movement.
When the tea had finished, she brought you back to the couch to talk. Wanda's hands always looked delicate when she carried the tea cups, but you knew what they could really do.
The cups were set down on the coffee table in front of the couch, giving them some time to cool before actually drinking.
"Things are just so different now..I'm crying nearly every week. And she doesn't even know. We were already three years in when she came out as poly. And sure, I was fine at the start..but now I struggle to get her attention." You finally admitted.
Wanda hummed quietly, listening intently and trying to understand the complex situation you were in. She could see your eyes starting to water and carefully pulled you closer. Her warmth helped a little, her arms encircling your body in a comforting embrace.
"I wasn't meant for this..I was happier when it was just the two of us. If I wasn't so terrified of hurting her, I would just be here with you full time."
Wanda stayed quiet for a short while, just holding you against her. She picked up one of the cups and offered it to you, hoping the warm drink would soothe you. Which it did, your shoulders eased and you let out a deep breath as you set the cup back down.
Sensing that your thoughts were still a bit jumbled, Wanda decided to take your mind off of things.
Her hand slid up to the nape of your neck, nails lightly scraping over the skin before she began playing with the hairs there. The sensation definitely cleared your mind, at least for a moment. Her other hand carefully moved under your shirt, fingers splayed over your stomach as she caresses your skin.
Your breath caught in your throat. Since you had already said your piece, you fully submitted to her, letting her take over for a while.
Wanda had you between her legs, your back resting against her chest. She continued toying with you, her hand now fully in your hair. Her fingers massaging your scalp and she smiled at the expression on your face. It was like a reset button, clearing all thoughts from your mind.
The other hand pulled out of your shirt and she wrapped her arm around you. Wanda rested her chin to your shoulder, speaking quietly into your ear.
"Let me take you to the bedroom, little love. We can talk more if you still have any thoughts when I'm done. Alright?" Her voice dripped with heat, a promise of what's to come.
You could only nod, allowing her to take you where she pleased.
