I'm taking no chances during my inspection at the @picoindia bhut jolokia production facility. All pistons are firing (quite literally) as we gear up for some serious hot sauce production. Pico's signature hot sauces on their way to Perugia, Italy, to add a serious amount of color and Spice to the Italian dinner table. I know the bhut jolokia works with pizza because I eat that like 3 times a week. But I would be curious to see how Italians use the other stuff here - mango chili sauce with burrata? Bandra finally has a legitimate English breakfast option for breakfast. I was wondering why no one else really did that. Villa Vandre in Kantwadi (excuse my French) has a pretty awesome menu so I'll definitely be coming back here to try their main courses soon. It's tiny though so I wouldn't come with more than 1 other person. I know that feelings about #mumbai can sometimes be varied, but when I drive down worli surface at #sunset I can't think of a better place to be right now. Pico is all about food, but in there somewhere is also a story about Mumbai. We don't just make awesome hot sauce - we have chosen to make it in Mumbai instead of anywhere else in the country. On evenings like these I know exactly why we're here and why we're here to stay. I don't know what this blog is going to be about but it will probably involve #Food in a very serious way and it will probably have something to do with #India. Your guess is as good as mine. Enjoy
