over a month ago we got a kitten, 2 days after we got her she got really sick and we had no idea why. I got really attached to her after well, she picked me ig? I kind of was somehow her favourite person y'know. I took care of her, fed her because she just wouldn't eat by herself, gave her water and cleaned her up because she couldn't control her bladder or anything like that so she's constantly poop randomly.

we had her for a week. she died.

it's been a little bit and we buried her, it took a toll on me because I was already super attached to her. I still cry talking about her but, I think for the most part I've moved on....kind of

a few days ago, my aunt told me we can get a new kitten. a friend of hers, has a friend who has a cat who is going to have kittens. I get to name the cat, and I don't know about picking it but I really don't care about that. alas we don't know when the kittens are going to come or anything like that so we have to wait for answers, but I'm really really excited. i already have name ideas for the kitten and everything, I think I'm a little too excited lol

I label as a xenogender but basically I'm nonbinary and I use neopronouns, and i'm lesbian. I also really don't care about my body and don't particularly wish to transition. I don't really care if I'm not cis, and frankly don't wish to be cis at all. kalvin garrah would tell me to off myself and that I'm a fucking joke LMAO 💀

I went through the cute pronouns tag to find some cute pronoun stuff only to find a bunch of fucking kalvin garrah worshippers 💀 I fucking hate you people

so I'm just going to be blunt with you, why do the pronouns people use matter so much to you?

gender is merely a social construct and pronouns are just a made up part of language, like language is. so what if people use it as a fun dress up label, or if it's because they actually feel connected to them. it does absolutely nothing to you, nor actually the trans community. they've been used for LITERALLY years in other cultures and languages, and yet English speakers find them baffling?

you say "oh some people really struggle with pronouns, both in finding them and having them respected".....well that's the same thing as neopronouns? you seem to forget the people to literally struggle with finding comfort in the pronouns he/she/they and so they finally find comfort in these pronouns, and even if they're just the people who are "well I don't really like he/she/they so I'll use this cute neopronoun" why does it matter so much. it does absolutely nothing to you.

"it makes it harder for pronouns to be taken seriously", as I said literally pronouns are just a made up part of language to refer to someone, other cultures and languages for years have used neopronouns. the only problem you should be having is with cis people who think they get to decide what is okay and what isn't, and the lack of respect they have for trans people. literally neopronouns could just not exist and they'd still be like that. neopronouns don't change that in anyway. you should be more upset that people can't respect that people have a different idea and feeling of gender, and pronouns.

the only reason neopronouns are hated so much is because to be brutally honest, people with your kind of mindset just want cis validation.

The kawaii pronouns make me a little uncomfortable

Like the whole “sun/sun/sunself” or “snow/snow/snowself” type things (I made these off the top of my head so if they’re ones someone made up I’m not targeting you, promise)

I mean it feels to me like they’re just using the idea of pronouns to be really cute and trendy

But pronouns are something people (including me!) really struggle with, both in finding pronouns and having them respected

I feel like these are only going to make it harder for pronouns to be taken seriously, you know? Sure they sound cute, but are you really deeply connecting with these pronouns, or using them as a fun dress up label?

my dog's pronouns shall be boof/boofs/boofself

and my cat's shall be meow/meows/meowself & fluff/fluffs/fluffself

and for people who are going to be upset about this: they're literally animals they don't even know what pronouns are, I don't think my dog is going to care that I'm going to be calling boof by neopronouns 🤨
