I Missed You

The first thing Anon hears is laughter.

There's a hand on their shoulder. As the Grid comes back into focus, they see a familiar face smiling back at them. The bright, troublesome program they derezzed to protect.

"You're back," Quorra breathes. She pulls them into a hug, laughs into their shoulder. "You're really here!"

She radiates [graditude] and [relief]. And something warmer, something Anon isn't sure they can name. She hugs them harder.

"I missed you," she whispers. "Thank you."

Anon leans in, hugs her back.

The TRON first script draft

Last year, the wonderful @greetingsprogram1982 managed to acquire a copy of the first script draft for the film TRON, scanned it, an uploaded the pages as jpgs here on Tumblr. I have now taken the liberty to convert these scanned pages into a pdf file and upload it to The Internet Archive, in order to hopefully preserve this important historical artifact a little better (many of you are probably aware that Tumblr isn't exactly the ideal place to archive things long-term for various reasons):

I can highly recommend that any fan of the original TRON movie check out this script draft, if you haven't already done so. It's a fascinating read, containing scenes and concepts that didn't make it into the final film (and missing some parts that would be added later), and versions of the movie characters who are very different from what they eventually ended up being.

My missing school for good and evil hours mostly consist of just being so angry at how bad the whole tcy series is, and that the live action adaptation wouldve been revolutionary if its a series, not a movie

I love the colours in tos so much. I love that in certain rooms the walls are coloured like. Purples and pinks and oranges and just bright, saturated colours, stuff like that IT’S SO SILLY I LOOOVE THE SETS IN TOS SO MUCH .
